Online Only Tea Tree Clearing Emulsion

4.6 oz Item 2305339

Tea tree oil, or melaleuca, is an essential oil derived from an Australian plant. It has antiseptic properties which can eliminate bacteria and other contaminants, as well as cleanse and treat wounds. It is also an anti-inflammatory. Together, these traits make tea tree oil a double whammy punch in the fight against acne and other skin issues, while remaining gentler than benzoyl peroxide, commonly the main ingredient in acne medications.

SKINFOOD's Tea Tree Clearing Emulsion is a refreshing and softening emulsion that is gentle on sensitive skin, cleansing skin, leaving it squeaky clean!
After toner or serum application, dispense an ample amount into palm and apply onto face in gentle upward and outward motions

Comments about Skinfood Tea Tree Clearing Emulsion:

I have combination skin and hormonal acne. This absorbs very quickly and doesn't irritate my skin at all, but it doesn't provide enough moisture for Ohio's winter months. I use a ceramide cream on drier areas of my face for additional moisture. I could see this being a great late spring/summer moisturizer.

Comments about Skinfood Tea Tree Clearing Emulsion:

I received a sample set of the tea tree cleaning foam, toner, and emulsion. All products were very light and felt clean on the skin. This emulsion was my favorite of the three. A few dots can cover the whole face, leaving it feeling fresh and non-greasy. Very lightweight, but moisturizing. I have seen improvement in my skin's texture, but no difference in blemishes. Like most products, this emulsion contains silicons, which can irritate very sensitive skin, so I am going to try a silicone-free alternate before buying a full size.
