Comments about Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Milk:

I use this nightly to remove makeup applied with primer/stay all day formulas, etc. It is very effective. I follow up with a makeup remover cloth to ensure that all makeup is off, but there is virtually nothing left after using this product. It is much more effective than using a makeup remover cloth alone.

Comments about Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Milk:

When I asked an expert for something that I could use to take off my makeup without tugging on my skin too much, she referred me to Take the Day Off Cleansing Milk. This product is supposed to clear off most your makeup. It was highly talked up to me and was claimed to be one of the best makeup removers out there. I took it home and used it three or four times. Each time I used it, I would use a makeup wipe to clear the residue off. When I looked at the wipe, there was still a ton of makeup left on my face. I then used the facial cleaner and when I went to dry off my face, there was STILL a ton of makeup residue left on my face. Finally, I used the exfoliator toner and STILL, there was makeup residue on my face. Each time I used more product to see if more would work. Each time, I was left with the same result. I was unsatisfied so I went back to Ulta and returned it.

              Immediately broke out in hives

              By Autumn

              from Tx

Comments about Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Milk:

I tried this to remove some swatches off my skin in store since it was on the makeup counter and I immediately had a burning reaction and broke out in hives. I have no idea what it was since it was the first time I've had a reaction to a product and I'm not lactose intolerant either which an employee asked since it contains milk.

I started using this instead of makeup wipes to take off my makeup at night and I'm thankful I switched. It's gentle, it removes all of my makeup without being harsh, greasy, or making my skin dry out.

Hi! Clinique uses the term "non-acnegenic." If a product is non-acnegenic, it has undergone clinical testing by a board certified dermatologist and was determined not to increase the number of or worsen acne lesions.

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing milk is non-acnegenic. However, it is not oil-free. Thank you for your question and have a great week!
