Most Helpful Positive Review Perfect moisture for under lipsticks. The consistency gets some used to. It's thick and tacky the entire wear. I wear alone and it moisturizes my lips really well, almost looks like a clear gloss. But it's perfect to wear under a lipstick. Most other lip balms are too slippery to put a lipstick over it, and when I do, it just gets the balm all over my lipstick and no color comes off on my lips. This one lets you put the lipstick over and keeps my lips so moisturized!! The other thing is that it has a smell to it, I don't know how to describe it. It's not a super fruity smell, which I wish it was more of. Can't wait to see if they make a rose one. I love shea moisture products.
Most Helpful Critical Review I would not buy this product again. I found this lip gloss and thought yes they've come out with another amazing product. I was ready to buy 15 of them because I always keep lip gloss stocked but they were out of stock so I only bought what was available and I'd planned on waiting until the next delivery to buy more. Nope! After using it for 4 nights I noticed that it didn't really moisturize my lips that well. I'd apply it and then after awhile I noticed my lips were dry and kind of cracked. Shea Moisture makes a lot of amazing effective products but this one needs a little more work. When that happens I'd be happy to purchase it in the future.

This is an ok lip balm for me. I liked the ingredients but it didn't give me the shine or feel I was looking for. Would have liked it to be a thicker butter feel. I won't be purchasing again once I finish my tube.

Lips were left soft. I would use again the smell is great and it heal dryness quickly ! My lips are left feeling healthy

I always seem to be searching for the perfect lip balm to soothe my always chapped lips. They get especially dry in the winter. Right after buying this I went to try and put it on in the car. The opening would not budge and the lip balm burst through at the end! Super disappointed that this didn't even work as it is intended to. The search continues!

Im really careful when applying this product but the smell of the product I can always taste in my mouth. Dont use in cold weather because its so thick you can't get the product out of the tube.

I like this lip balm- and I don't, the texture is gritty but doesn't feel too harsh. Overall I usually use their lip products but I'm not fond of the flavor/smell. I do love how moisturizing it is. My lips are sensitive and this product did work well, overall I would recommend this if you have chapped lips or wear lipstick daily and are looking for some moisture.

The smell and the way it tastes in my mouth is horrible. I can see that is could be a great moisturizer but it is making me gag. I had high hopes that came crashing down.

I read the reviews and thought I would try it. It was fairly moisturizing, but I only used it once. It is really hard to get out of the tube. I read that in the reviews. I was patient and warmed and worked it, wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. But the scent/flavor that I got on my lips was. It was that faint stale lipstick... I am sensitive to smells and tastes tho.

This balm feels so nice on the lips. Not too runny and not too thick. It's last me a long time and it's an upgrade from regular chapstick and more affordable than a few others I've tried.

All time favorite, every day lip balm. This is the perfect texture and actually hydrates your lips. Doesn't have an awful waxy texture like some and instead hydrates and shines the lips. Yummy scent and good ingredients. I've repurchased this at least 10 times because it's so good, highly recommend!!

I'm really sad that I lost this lip balm. this doesn't taste the best, but it smells absolutely amazing and keeps my lips moisturized for hours without have to reapply all that often. I definitely plan on picking up another one of these sometime soon!

I've tried multiple of the Shea Moisture Lip Balms & they make my lips more dry. I'm not sure why, I really wanted to like the Lip Balms because I like everything else from Shea Moisture.

Feels nice on the lips but isn't as moisturizing as it could be. I use it more as a lip gloss or a sealant after putting on something more moisturizing. There are better lip balms out there.

I bought this on a whim. I've been used a few other lip balms in the past, but the sent or taste was always gross to me. This has no sent, or taste. It's rich, and very moisturizing. I use it at night before bed, and it's definitely still on in the morning. This will definitely be my new go to lip balm!

Not impressed. I'm somewhat of a lip balm snob and am always looks for lip products that feel good on the skin and that have results. This product was hard to squeeze from the tube and then it felt like it just sat on my lips with no results. There are better products to use at the same price point that have better results.

so... I'm big on lip care because my lips are constantly chapped, and I've tried a lot of chapsticks/lip balms. I wanted to try this one because I love this brand and I like shea butter, but I felt a little let down... It feels nice and soft on the lips, but there is no scent or feeling of hydration and that kind of bothers me... it feels very plain and I find myself having to reapply often.. still gonna keep it in my bag and use it up though!

This lip balm is very moisturizing and has a nice light sent. I enjoy the slanted applicator when I put this product on. It also has a slight shimmer which looks cute if I wear it when going out somewhere!
