Most Helpful Positive Review Love the Product, Hate the Current Customer Service Hi! So I LOVE this SPF cream. Feels great and gets the job done. BUT... I can NOT get Clinique to get back to be about missing Special Offers and Bonuses. My last 2 orders (which were well over the $ limit) qualified me for the special offers and extra bonuses... but they did not arrive. They have somehow dropped from my order altogether. It is impossible to get anyone to answer the phone or reply to an email. So... I just gave up but am now reluctant to order again. I know that the bonuses and special offers are not the only reason I shop Clinique but it makes me feel so much better about buying expensive creams!
Most Helpful Critical Review New Formula a Big Issue I am a total Clinique girl. I gave extremely sensitive skin, and I have always counted on Clinique to be the only brand that works for my skin. Superdefense has been a staple for me for as long as it has been out. I was puzzled by the formula change, but I was hoping it wouldn't make a big difference. It has made a huge difference. I cannot use it. Every time I have used it, I breakout all over my fave. My skin itches, and it takes several days to get back to normal. Clinique has been discontinuing or changing so many of my staples lately. It's extremely disappointing. I may have to try to find another brand that specializes in perfume-free products for sensitive skin.

I love Clinique products, but wish they had not changed this moisturizer. The other was PERFECT! I use Clinique because I have sensitive skin, and unfortunately this one tends to cause break outs. Maybe it is too rich - because it feels heavy. The other formula did not. I will purchase this one more time, but PLEASE go back to the previous formula.

I used this product for the first time yesterday. I woke up this morning with a rash all over my face and neck. I've never had an allergic reaction to a product before, but this one did a number. Beware.

Unfortunately a middle of the road review is not what you want for a $45 moisturizer. There are far better products for the price. In my opinion, opt for separate moisturizer and sunscreen. It is very thick, slight white cast and I just didn't see any positive affects after 4 weeks of daily use.

On the hunt for a dedicated SPF to wear under makeup. This is NOT it. Got a small jar of the dry skin version of this with the fresh pressed vitamin c concentrate. It doesn't seem to cause any problems, and may be excellent at sun blocking, but i will have to save this for no-makeup days. It creates a film that my makeup doesn't play well with. I end up looking streaky and shiny.

I have type 3/4 skin & ordered this recently despite quite a few low reviews. Well, I absolutely LOVE it. It smells like summer and it absorbs so nicely into my skin & makes it feel so smooth and soft. I have not experienced any breakouts because of it, but I am 44 so I may be past that. I've never really had a problem breaking out either. I just absolutely love it!

My skin is super greasy, but also feels tight and dry. This seems more like a straight up sunblock rather than a skin cream with SPF.

Didn't notice a difference in anything. Didn't make me break out either though. 3/5..... not spending $45 on a cream that doesn't do anything.

This product feels more like a sunscreen. It doesn't seem to make me oily like other reviews say, but I'm disappointed that it feels more like a sunscreen. I prefer the Fresh Pressed Vitamin C, but that isn't cost friendly either. I'll be trying another brand!

I haven't used Clinique in a long time but the moisturizer i had been using for a while was causing breakouts with wearing a mask. I decided to try the Men's Charcoal Face Wash and this and i have never been so in love with a moisturizer with sunscreen! This makes my skin look so calm and even (likely due to the niacinamide), is chock full on antioxidants and best of all has a matte finish that didn't cause breakouts! I just finished my first jar which lasted 3 months and have purchased another.

I was super excited to try this product but sadly it just makes my skin even more oily than it already is and break out. I think it's over priced and haven't seen any benefits to it. Going to return this item. I really wanted to love it.

I hesitated to choose this product when Clinique was giving away mini sizes of some products. I thought it might burn my sensitive skin, because most moisturizers do, especially those with sunscreen. But it doesn't burn! Not even when my skin is compromised! It also has the anti-aging components that I'm after, including SPF. I just wish it were in a bigger jar.

I particularly like the fact that Vc is an ingredient in this day cream, given the benefit to the skin. I also like that it has a little bit of sun protection too, good enough for daily use.

I've used Clinique moisturizer for many years, butcfc this one caused my skin to break out. It also feels heavier than the formula that was discontinue. Never had problems with the old one. I'm switching back to the Dramatically Different lotion for now, or try another brand.

I am not sure why they changed the formula as the other one was so much better. This one makes my skin break out and feel very irritated. I wish they would bring the old one back.

As a Black woman, I know it is better for me to use a mineral/physical sunscreen but I love this one so much! Although it is a little greasy, I do not mind it at all. (Grease=hydrating healthy skin to me lol) if I look too shiny I just throw on a mattifying primer and go about my day. I feel most sunscreens break me out or cause irritation but this one does not.

I bought the SPF face cream because I want protection from the sun when I run, but I break out when I wear it. Plus, it makes my face a bit shiny, I prefer a matte finish. I prefer the Dramatically different oil free gel.

I tried this product for a day, and by the next day my face had broken out in hives. Three days later, my skin still looks red and bumpy. I have used Clinique products for years and never had a reaction, so I'm really baffled (I don't have any known allergies either). Love the idea for this product but just cannot recommend.

I really wanted to like this cream. I have oily, acne prone skin. It did not break me out. But, even a small pea size amount made my face so so so greasy within an hour after application. Also the SPF smell was a bit too strong for me but that is a personal preference.

I have been wanting to try this product for a while now and ended up with a sample of it in my last online order. I was interested in this cream not just due to it's ingredients but all the positive reviews! Unfortunately, it's It was a kind of-rich/creamy texture and took forever to absorb, definitely really greasy feeling on my skin. I should mention that I have oily/combination skin type. If it came in a more gel-like texture, it's definitely a product I would consider purchasing. Would be great for people with dry skin type!
