Most Helpful Positive Review Throw out your flat iron. Let me start by saying my hair is trashed-- completely bleach-fried, as in maybe-I-should-shave-my-head-and-start-over damaged. If I wash my hair and put no leave-in product on it, it air-dries looking like somebody put a Barbie in the microwave. My hair needs help. A lot of help. That being said, THIS PRODUCT makes my hair look like actual human hair. In combination with PM's Forever Blonde Dramatic Repair leave-in, Super Skinny makes my jacked-up strands smooth and shiny and NOT AT ALL like day-old ramen. I used to think I had to flat iron because my hair was so nasty and frizzy and prone to tangling and just being generally disgusting-- but this stuff smoothes everything out and I can spare my very-fragile hair the heat torture and just blow dry with a round brush. And it's actually shiny! And pretty! If I had to throw out every hair product I own except one, THIS would be the product I'd keep. Two things you need to know about this product: First, it smells like watermelon candy, so bonus. Second, this is a heavy silicone-based serum. That means it is prone to buildup if you use heavy silicone shampoo or conditioner or a sulfate-free shampoo that doesn't break down the silicone completely. You'll end up with sticky, stringy hair after a while. So just remember you need to wash your hair properly, and that you only need to use a TINY amount, and you won't have buildup problems.
Most Helpful Critical Review Works amazing but is horrible for your hair First off, This product does do what it says. And it does it great, however. It is absolutely horrible for your hair. It only has 12 ingredients. 7 of those being artificial fragrance (irritating and drying). 4 of those being heavy silicones(wax). and 1 of them being sunscreen. The reason for it working so well is it creates a heavy wax film over your hair that makes it feel soft and appear smooth to defrizz but your hair is still equally as damaged underneath the candle like wax. Come on Paul Mitchell, I'm sure you can make a product that wont make your hair fall out by age 50.

Love this product! I use this before and after heat styling. You don't need a lot and it will really seal in your blow dry or flat iron. I've also raked it through my ends to break apart curls. Won't leave you with a greasy feel or look, just healthy shine! You get so much product for the price when compared to items of similar brands.

I have thick long wavy hair naturally and after I brush my hair it looks worse than before brushing my hair. A worker at Ulta suggested it and it is my favorite hair product. I use it with Paul Mitchell skinny hair shampoo and the conditioner. My hair is really long and I don't have to use a lot of products to keep my hair shinny and smooth. Would recommend 100%!

I first started using this when my hair dresser used it on me. Instant soft, silky, straight hair. I have never had a go to hair product before besides it's a 10 leave in conditioner ( also recommended ). I bought a bottle of this serum and it lasted me a long time. I use it whenever I blow dry my hair and want silky frizz free hair. I came to absolutely love this and purchased the big bottle. Please buy. Got my sister hooked on this product. It's amazing.

Only used this once and it made my hair silky and smooth, and the frizz in my hair went away after about thirty minutes and reduced blow drying time. Don't expect Rey frizz to go away right away.

I use this product to keep my hair looking great. It isn't sticky on my hair like lots of hair products. It is water based so it makes my hair feel nice and keeps it sparkling all day. I have had many positive comments about my hair when I have sprayed this product on my hair.

I love it! My hair is dry from dying it blonde so I got this to help hydrate my hair. The first time I used it, I put too much in my hair and it really weighed it down and looked greasy. I do have fine hair so I thought maybe that was the problem. But then I read the bottle and it says to use only one pump and I used a few so the next time, I used only one pump throughout my hair and it worked much better! It didn't weigh it down as much, didn't look greasy but it made my hair feel much softer and hydrated! I love this product.

The Super Skinny is amazing. I have naturally curly hair and straighten it almost on a daily bases and it is the best product I have used on my hair. It doesn't leave it feeling greasy or dirty. My hair is shiny and healthy looking and I have no frizzies if the weather is humid or damp after I straighten it. I have tried many products but none have compared to the Super Skinny.

I have very fine but thick hair and eczema. This product does not aggravate my eczema or make my hair oily. This smells great, makes my bleached bright Purple hair look super shiny and protects from heat. It is best used on wet or damp hair. I have been using this for nearly 10 years & won't stop anytime soon.

This is my holy grail hair product. I have medium to thin hair that is somewhere between wavy and straight. When I put this magic elixir in my hair, without any heat or styling, just brushing after application, it becomes sooooo straight and not heavy or greasy, just shiny yet light. I can't even imagine the results someone would get if they actually used heat/styling tools! But you can easily use it and let it air dry and still get fabulous results!

This is what all Hair serums should feel like! It works wonders for my thick, long hair! Most serums weigh my hair down and make it look greasy and oily but not this product. I've tried very high end products and I never was a fan of Paul Mitchell until I found this gem! Not to mention the scent is amazing!

This serum is hands down the best hair product I've used. My hair doesn't normally give a reaction to products like serums, oils or masks so I stopped purchasing them after a while. But my friend who had just graduated from cosmetology school recommended this serum so I thought I'd give it a shot since she had some knowledge in products that work. Taking her recommendation is the best decision I could have made for my hair. I'm not sure what it is about this serum but my hair loves this stuff. It's like a complete hair problem-fixer. It combats my frizz, adds shine, leaves my hair soft, and smells amazing. It fixed problems I didn't even realize I had. I get compliments on my hair on a daily basis now because of how beautiful it leaves my hair. It might be a bit intimidating for those who don't like using oily products but this doesn't leave any kind of oil residue so that's another plus. This is a hair miracle in a bottle and now I put everyone on this stuff. If your contemplating on purchasing this serum, GET IT!

I've been using this for well over 6 years! It is a must for my daily routine! I have very thick porous hair that knots and tangles horribly. I put this on my hair after my shower brush/comb through with ease! It also seems to help dry my hair quicker. Definite can not live without!
