Most Helpful Positive Review The best dry shampoo I've ever used! I NEVER got the hype of dry shampoo before this product. Every time I tried dry shampoo, it felt heavy on my hair or I still felt like my hair was oily. I have extremely thick hair that's course and gets oily within one day of shampooing. Previously, I was washing my hair every day because I couldn't stand the feeling of dry shampoo in my hair and only used it if I couldn't shower. After trying this product, I don't have to wash my hair everyday and my hair has never been healthier. It's extremely lightweight, the smell is neutral but nice (almost like a floral baby powder scent), and a little goes a long way. My scalp doesn't get itchy from it and I don't find any build up after use. I have dirty blonde hair and I've also dyed my hair other colors and can vouch that though there is a slight white tinge, once brushed it is gone. I seriously recommend if you've never gotten use of dry shampoos, you will with this product!
Most Helpful Critical Review I look like a powdered donut Smells great, i'll give it that. The scent is fresh, bright, and fruity but seriously; SO not worth the high price tag. This does not outperform cheaper brands like Not your mothers, or Batiste. In fact, it's actually worse. I sprayed it about 10 inches away from my head and it was like a powder explosion. Powder so thick it coated my entire head and left white dust all over my bathroom floor. I sprayed it for a short burst (like I do with all my other dry shampoos). Idk if I just got a dud or what but I almost had to take a shower before going to class because of how ridiculous I looked. I also had to change my outfit bc the white residue got all over my top, pants AND socks. If you enjoy a 20 minute extravaganza of rubbing your head to try and get the powder to come out/sink it then this is the perfect product for you. If you're like me and use dry shampoo to make your life easier, instead of 10x harder, then this is NOT the product for you.

This left white patches in my brown hair that couldn't be brushed through, they were like chunks stuck to the roots of my hair. It looked like really bad dandruff. I'm a HUGE fan of the perfume used in this line of products I even purchased the separate perfume, but something about the powder in this smelt so bad!! It smelt like burnt hair, idk so gross and so weird and hours later I still got such string wiffs of it. Returning tomorrow.
Very Strong....And Strong Smell 4
bels from virginia
this was my first dry shampoo that i have ever used and was very pleased with the results. i put the product in and leave it for about 3 mins and rub it into my hair before bed.
the only complain i have is how strong of a scent it leaves. i wouldn't say it's a "fresh" scent. it does linger until you wash it.
blonde hair only 3

I will say that this dry shampoo is quite amazing. But it leaves such an obvious white cast on my hair. I only have dark blonde hair, I cant even imagine how annoying this would be if I had brown or black hair. Platinum blondes only lol
Works great, smells strong 4

I love this dry shampoo as it does a great job of giving my hair volume and eliminating greasiness without it feeling dried out or powdery. This is by far my favorite dry shampoo formula. However, the fragrance is way too strong. I don't think it smells bad, but it's so powerful that it gives my roommate a headache because the spray can be smelled throughout the entire house.
Best. Dry Shampoo. Ever. 5

Idk about everyone else but every dry shampoo I've used makes my head itch like crazy. It also feels sticky and gross when I run my hands through my hair. NOT this dry shampoo. Just all around the best, the smell, the longevity, everything. Only con is that it does leave a very stark white cast, BUT my hair is dark brown and as long as you rub it in, there's no discoloration. Just have to work with it a bit. Highly recommend!

I am a hair product junkie. I love to try new things. For reference, I am a brunette and I have shorter hair. I typically only wash my hair once a week, the rest of the week I use dry shampoo. Since I use dry shampoo so much, I am always trying new ones. I bought this on a whim. I.LOVE.IT.SO.MUCH. This dry shampoo smells AMAZING. The scent may be too strong for some people but I think it is glorious. It freshens my hair up and does not leave any type of residue on my hair. I just bought another regular sized bottle and a travel sized bottle for my purse. Buy this, you won't regret it.

Smells great, no longer using living proof dry shampoo, now using this bc it works better for me
Excellent product, does what it claims 5

I have tried several different dry shampoo products and none of them worked on my fine hair, that needs to be washed everyday or my roots are greasy and gross. Ouai is the only dry shampoo product that does what it claims. It even works two days in a row for me, without having to apply more product. It's been a total game changer for my routine and I love it! Definitely worth the $.
My favorite dry shampoo by far 5
Erin from New Smyrna Beach, Florida
I use dry shampoo every other day to keep my hair oils at bay and this is by far my favorite. It does not color my hair white, but I have pretty light blonde hair, so it would be hard to tell if it did. I love the smell and it doesn't weigh down or stiffen my fine hair.

I have gone to the gym on a time crunch, blow dried my sweaty hair, part my hair in sections as i have pretty thick hair. Then spray this on. Let it sit while do all my other stuff, then scrub my head as if i were washing my scalp with shampoo in the shower, and BAM! Completely dry, clean looking and smelling hair. As if it's first day hair, not 2nd day gym hair. And no white residue on my naturally super dark brown hair.
Great smell 3

Bought the travel size of this and travel size living proof. This is one of the best smelling dry shampoos I've bought. To me it smells like Clinique happy perfume which I don't love as a perfume but it's not bad as a dry-poo. It makes my hair feel more fresh but doesn't seem to absorb as much oil as my others or give much volume at all. It doesn't leave build up which I love but I have to use it a couple times during the day to refreshen but isn't ideal as a nurse. I might by again to use with another shampoo for the smell.
Not worth it 1

I wouldn't buy this ever again... left a white cast in my hair (still when I applied it inches farther from my hair).
Does what it claims 5

Best dry shampoo I have ever tried 5
Banditsmom from Fresno, Ca
I am so annoyed with all of these "didn't work" reviews! This is amazing! First impression was it smells really nice! Second impression was the nozzle is pointing kind of weird. Third impression was my actual hair looked like I actually washed it! My hair is like a chestnut (all natural color), medium to fine hair, and it's long. I have to wash it every other day because my scalp gets so oily! I feel so refreshed :) The directions say to rub it in after, maybe others aren't reading the directions. But I'm annoyed all of these it's ok reviews prevented me from buying this sooner!
No no no 1

I have very thick dark hair and need something to control my oily scalp without having to wash my hair every other day. I really wanted to like this product but it just was not it. I had to use A LOT of product for my hair not to look as oily but overall it did not do much. It left a white residue on my hair even though I tried to brush it out. The smell was too strong. I kept smelling it throughout the whole day. It's not a bad smell just too strong for my liking. This product did nothing for my hair
Really pretty good 4

I was surprised how effective this one is- it smells like hot girl hair- and I have enjoyed using it daily since I have a track in and need to not wash my hair much.
Best smelling dry shampoo 5
Molly from Chicago
This is literally the best smelling dry shampoo ever. I literally spray it in my clean hair as my perfume. I get so many compliments I'm never buying another kind again!
Works but the smell is awful 2
LH from Michigan
This definitely made me hair feel cleaner and even though it left a white residue (dark brunette hair) at first that brushed out pretty easily. I can't handle the smell though, so I will not be buying again.
Best dry shampoo! 5

This dry shampoo is the best I've tried so far and I love it! Smells awesome too!
Better than expected! 5
Sarah from Austin, TX
I've tried quite a few dry shampoos and haven't been able to find one that didn't leave grey marks in my dark brown hair, until this one! It only needs two or three sprays too to achieve enough of a "shampooed" look. It also doesn't leave your hair feeling weird and staticky like some other dry shampoos. I will be buying again!
I would not buy this again. 1
Soccermom from Texas
This dry shampoo was recommended by an employee of ULTA. It was a horrible choice for my hair. I have fine hair that I am trying to learn to not wash every day. When I sprayed this on, it was extremely heavy and my hair felt horrid. I would not recommend this to someone who does not want a heavy feeling dry shampoo.
No volume and hair still greasy 2
Honey Badger from Chicago IL
I like the scent of this dry shampoo, but that is about it. It doesn't make my hair cleaner no matter how much I spray in my hair, and it doesn't add any volume whatsoever. I've tried a number of other brands and this one is by far the worst.. switching back to Living Proof even though its more $$ (but you get what you pay for I guess!)
