Pacifica is absolutely, hands-down, the worst sunscreen ever, and unfortunately this lip balm is no different. Horrible shade - makes your teeth look yellower than they are!

I had an $18 similar product in my hand, and switched it out. I am so glad I did. Don't expect to get a super creamy lip balm texture, because this is a totally different kind of product. This is SPF 30! I think a lot of the negative reviews about it being cakey or dry don't take that into account. Personally, this is smoother and looks better than that $18 product I returned. It's a way to look cute and protect those smackers at the beach, pool or whatever outdoor event. I really like it, and can't wait to take it on vacation.

I picked this up on a whim in my local store while shopping for mineral sunscreens. Saw this mineral lip balm and assuming it was a clear color, I almost purchased the peach, but luckily caught it before I paid. I ran back and saw there was a nude color. I honestly didn't expect much from this besides using for protection by the pool. Boy was I wrong!! The color is a perfect shade of nude and is very comfortable to wear. I love the mineral SPF it provides and have worn only this as my daily lip color since I brought it home!! I'm someone who has an extensive collection of high-end makeup and lip products. I can't believe how much I like this product. I raved about it to my mom and now she's hooked!

I have been struggling to find a reasonably priced lip primer with SPF. When I saw this, I thought it might do the trick. While the color is a little off for me to wear on its own, it is not overwhelming and helps even out my lip tone. I applied this, patted some powder over the top, and applied BITE liquid lipstick. The BITE went on smoothly and evenly and the color was unaffected by the tint of this balm. My lips look and feel moisturized and are protected from the sun.
I agree with other reviewers that it feels gritty at first, but after a couple of uses that went away. I did not notice a strange odor or taste. If you are looking for a tinted balm as a stand alone, I do feel the color will be tricky for many skin tones. (For reference, I wear Bare Minerals Original in 17.) But if you want to moisturize and protect your lips before applying color, this is a good option.

So the smell & taste is a bit odd, definitely not my favorite, but i can get past it. The nude is a pretty color and it has high spf which is great. Don't get the peach color it's patchy and not cute

For a tinted mineral sunscreen it's pretty good, compared to the white sunscreens I'll take the tent anytime. Now for color I'm not fond of either color, maybe if there were a light red so my lips didn't look burnt orange an off color contrast to my pale skin.

I use this lip balm when I run. It has a nice smooth texture, tastes yummy and stays on for my whole run. I love the high SPF as well! Would definitely but this again!
