Most Helpful Positive Review Great for middle age AND teenage skin in our family! We have been testing this new to us product out for the last three weeks. We have 4 different acne stories going on in our house that range from tween, teen, mid life hubby (doesn't want to wash face every night) and hormonally changing menopause momma (me) we are always searching for an item that can work for us all. So far this item works well! We've all used it multiple times and here's what each age and stage thinks: 1- Tween who has hairline acne as well as back acne and tends to get deep ulcer type pimples and black heads. Uses a set regime of other Derma E acne products and cleansers. Notes that it can sting for a second when applying on pimples that are raw but loves that when she wakes up the next morning that spots are visibly soothed and that the puss or infection has gone down. Often has to use every night due to the amount of acne but doesn't mind the smell (a bit antiseptic) and likes to make fun of how she looks like a polka dot monster when applying it due to calamine lotion. 2- Teen uses other product lines including some Derma E. Has light acne with specific areas of concentration on forehead and edges of nose with sensitive skin which has caused her to rely on a fairly simple list of beauty items. Notes that it works well and gives it 4 strong stars. The down side for her is that it doesn't look fab after applying when the powder pink calamine lotion appears like polka dots but appreciates that it works and she knows the next morning that she'll wake to clearer skin. 3- Dad notes it works and is best when the wife tells me I need it and applies it. Only needs to use it randomly and usually after a food binge. Likes that it can get down to the skin through his light beard. Unlike acne lotions that get caught up in facial hair. 4- Momma: I love the simple ingredients. The sulphur especially as I knew it would increase the effect. Not over drying on my meno skin and I like the clean smell. Appreciate witch hazel zing at first moment of applying. 5 ⭐️
Most Helpful Critical Review Not for people with allergies : ( I was excited to see Derma-E introduce this product because I used to have a compounding pharmacy custom make me a sulfur based face wash for my acne when I was younger. It smelled funny, but it worked great! The only reason I stopped using it was because it became more and more expensive and the size of the bottle kept getting smaller and smaller. When I saw this I decided to give it a try. I opened the box it came in and unscrewed the cap and was met with a very powerful smell. Most of the active ingredients in it are in other products I have used before so I did not expect to have an issue with it. Perhaps it's the combination of all of these ingredients together? Or one or more of the inactive ingredients? I immediately put the cap back on for fear of having an allergic reaction to the product. I have fragrance and chemical allergies and I didn't dare open it again yet alone put it on my skin. Sadly, I am unable to use this product. If you don't have a problem with fragrance or chemical smells this may work for you. But if you have any kind of allergies or sensitive skin I would skip this product.

I wanted to like this since it's a bigger bottle than Mario Badescu Drying Lotion and it's cheaper, but it's just not the same thing. It is much more oily and thin, it kinda separates on your face as it's drying down. It's not the WORST, but I'll be returning it and getting Mario instead.(:

Seen results right away. I used it in the morning and evening at first. Now I only use it at night. I love the vitamin C line. Especially the gentle daily cleanse paste. A little goes a long way. I also use the concentrated serum, renewing moisturizer and intense night cream. Came across the product in a review in Oprah's magazine.. love it!!!

I love how, before the acne even goes away, this product calms my skin and takes away the redness. Then, the acne also goes away so much faster.

I don't get pimples frequently but have been stressed lately and needed some help. I'm very fair skinned and this spot treatment not only worked well but dramatically decreased the redness of the spots.

I use this product when I have that one spot to treat instead of applying a product all over my face which can be on the sensitive side. I wake up to find the affected area less swollen and noticeable. A nighttime must!

I use this all the time, but it works best on the face and on acne that is small and not quite formed yet. Using it on my neck or chest has not had good results; most likely because it gets rubbed off by clothes and blankets while I sleep. Feels nice and smells like tea tree which I love.

I have been using this before bed and it has actually been working. After a few days of using this product, my cystic acne on my chin seemed to decrease. The directions are a bit confusing at first about the shaking and waiting for the sediment to drop. But once I used it a few times, it made sense.

I have sensitive skin, many products will turn my face red or blotchy or itchy. This one is not one of them. I havent had a negative reaction yet but I also haven't had a good chance to really test the product fully. Little blemished seem to go away fast but haven't had any big one since I use the cleanser too. 4 out of 5 mainly cause the smell is very over powering and since I'm not 100% in love the 5 star feels unfair

Worked great for my teenage boys. Even with inconsistent use. It's the biggest problem he misses maybe one or two days a week. With most things it really effects the effectiveness. He has very sensitive skin. Even my husband noticed and asked what he had been using. He said it works awesome. He never really notices that stuff.
Application reminds me of calamine lotion.

As an adult that still suffers from acne, this has been a game-changer. I put it on the individual spots needed and it really minimizes the pimple overnight. It dries quickly so I do not have to worry about it coming off on my pillow when I go to bed. It even helps with those deep blemishes that will not come to a head.

I use this product at night and notice a remarkable difference in the morning. Reduced redness and in some cases gets rid of the blemish all together.

I like to use this products at night, as it's not transparent. But it works like a charm! I put it on when I see a breakout forming and let it work as I sleep. When I wake up my breakout will be significantly smaller and less painful.

I always breakout the week before my period, and I applied this to my breakouts the night I could feel them and they visibly reduced the redness and size! I would definitely get this product again!

It worked to bring my deep blemishes to the surface and with continued use, the blemish eventually dried out and went away. My only problem was that it was difficult to apply because you have to dip a q-tip into the bottom then apply to the blemish and you can't shake up the bottle, it's a lot of work.

I've been using this product for a few weeks now and am surprised at how much I like it! I'd been using those acne/spot patches, but they always left this crazy dry nasty spot on my face. When I was reading through the (semi-complicated) instructions for this, I was super skeptical. But after a few uses, I noticed that it was helping with those new breakouts without leaving that nasty dry spot on my face! The only negatives I have about this are: you have to wear it at night or if you're not Zooming/going anywhere (it can't be concealed, think putting calamine lotion on your face); it's a bit tricky to get the actual medicine off the bottom with a regular length q-tip (I'm always scared I'm going to lose it); it appears that the pink has worn off by the morning (not sure if it rubs off in my sleep or just sinks in).

I am a 41-year-old female who has suffered from occasional breakouts her entire life. I used this treatment as directed, and put it on my breakouts and by the next day they were significantly smaller and dryer. There is no miracle treatment, however this one comes pretty close. I have had a clogged poor for several months near my nose and I put this treatment on twice and it actually got rid of most of it. I didn't use this every single day cause I can be lazy but it worked well for when I did.

This is the best acne spot treatment I've tried. I put a spot on any acne/zit I have after my bedtime face routine. It seems to help dry out the acne but without drying out my skin at all! Washes off easily the next morning and typically the acne is smaller and less red. Highly recommend!

I am a HUGE fan of DERMA*E and assumed a high success rate for the sulfur spot treatment. I've had cystic acne forever (so annoying) and keep trying products looking for that holy grail. I tired this product for seven days. For me, it was very drying, didn't help my acne and the application of the product was somewhat challenging. You have to dip a Q-tip into the sulfur sediment, and then apply to a break out. The bottle was a bit too tall to get the Q-tip into the sediment. Also, the sediment dries on your face and can flake off. Will this product work for some people? Likely -- if your skin responds well to sulfur. It just didn't work for me. Also, when it dries, it's definitely NOT invisible. You'll only want to apply the product when you don't have a date sleeping over.

This stuff does what it says. I like to use it on my pimples that are under the skin ones. It makes them dissappear faster than usual!
