I was so excited when I saw this palette, it looked so cute. Man, was I disappointed. The colors do not blend well at all. The midtone mattes do not show up on my skin (I'm a light-medium skin tone). The glitter fallout is horrible, they swatched so nicely but they didn't stay glittery for more than 2 minutes even when I used UD eyeshadow primer. I have lots of eyeshadow palettes from different brands, and this is by far one of the most disappointing palettes I've bought.

best tarte palette in awhile! the shimmers and glitters are stunning and color story is perfect balance of neutrals and WELL-THOUGHT pops of colors. more of this please tarte!! this is how to keep up with other brands!

The second I saw this palette, I had to have it. The color story had me sold. I think it's very cute, too. This being said, it does come off a little bit like kids' makeup up close. Adorable, but it's in very thin plastic, and there's no mirror. For the price, I don't think this is unreasonable. Anyways, the colors do swatch beautifully. They apply beautifully, too. I use UD shadow potion or Bobbi brown cream shadow as primer, and it works with both. The one problem is that some of the sparkliest shades lose their sparkle really quickly after application. Perhaps a glitter primer would remedy this. Overall I'm very satisfied with this palette and see myself using it very often.

The shimmers in this pallet are so glittery and opaque on the eyes! The shimmers apply best with fingers. I love this pallet mostly for the shimmers. The neutral matte colors are a bit patchy but the blue mattes perform very well. I wish the pans were also shaped more evenly because the product quality is very good but the packaging isn't the nicest.

I was not expecting this palette to be as good as it is. First off, the packaging is adorable, which makes you want to buy it. Next, the finishes are amazing! Buttery mattes, vibrant metallics, and stunning shimmers; the looks you can create are endless. This palette is so versatile and the photos do NOT serve it justice!! So much prettier in person. Buy it!

Just purchased this a few days ago and it is beautiful! Colors are super shimmery and pigmented and blend easily! Love that they some in the cute star design also!!!
Let me first state that I'm an eyeshadow "snob". I am so picky with eyeshadow brands, colors, etc.; most people probably are the same way. I didn't have high expectations for this, but loved the packaging/design and had a gift card to use, so why not!? HOLY SMOKES - this palette is SUPER pigmented, has a variety of finishes (matte, metallic, shimmer), and the color story is gorgeous!!! Highly recommend!!!
