I use this as a pre-cleanse on super lazy nights. I had stopped using makeup wipes in an effort to create less waste, but I truly missed having that "easy way out" on certain nights. When I saw these wipes are biodegradable it was a no brainer, even with the more expensive than I'm used to price tag.
I see a number of people on here say these wipes burn and are strongly scented. I can see how these may not work well for someone with sensitive skin. I definitely don't have the MOST sensitive skin, but I am also certainly not immune to everything, especially in the eye area, and luckily these have not bothered me at all. The scent can be a little overwhelming at times, but I find it easy to get past. I do wish the wipes were more saturated with product, however. They're pretty dry by the end. I store upside down in the hopes of the wipes absorbing any liquid that may be at the bottom of the package.
I bought this because they were biodegradable and that was enough to make me want to try them. However, these made my skin burn the second they touched my face. And I do have somewhat sensitive skin but I've never had such a severe reaction. The initial part of my face that I used the wipe on has a red streak that looks almost like a chemical burn? I'm scared to see how bad my skin continues to look over the next couple of days in reaction to this.

ok these worked really well at the beginning but i always used the bliss jelly cleanser afterward because i know wipes won't get all of the makeup off. i used them tonight and they BURNED my skin. my face started to get bright red and puffy. the weird thing is i used them on my neck and it isn't burning, but i think it's because the fragrance. i washed my face right away with the simple sensitive skin wash and put aloe vera on and that help the sting. i won't be using these again. the best thing i would recommend is the sensitive skin makeup wipes and face wash and the Bliss jelly cleanser.

I was so excited to use this product, my expectations were so highly, but today when I used them for the first time my excitement was totally crushed and replaced with pain! Yes pain because I had a sort of reaction to the wipes. My face turned puffy and bright burning red! My face still burns as I'm writing this. I'm honestly highly disappointed, distressed and well in pain. I've never truly experienced anything like this and to be honest never truly believe products such as makeup wipe could be so harmful to the skin. After this experience I just want all people to be aware how harmful products like this could be.

They don't remove makeup. At the very most, it smears it around. I put a couple squirts of micellar water in with my wipes and they worked fine. Don't waste your money

They remove makeup but burn my skin

Gets all of my makeup off easily but does leave my face very red and tingling.

This burned my skin, and though it did remove makeup, it stings and left me with red patches all over my face.

I bought these when Ulta was having a promo on select Tarte products 5 for $20. These don't even compare to the Neutrogena makeup remover wipes. Tarte's wipes had a strong scent and reminded me of a generic peppermint smell. They felt dry and I sort of had to scrub off the makeup with the wipe. They did the job but poorly. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone.

I see the other reviews mention a burning and strong scent wich surprised me. I didn't experience any burning whatsoever and the scent to me is not that strong. That being said, I'm going to assume my skin isn't that sensitive, so if you know yours isn't sensitive either, then these wipes most likely will work for you! I feel they get the majority of my makeup off, despite the fact they are on the thinner side. In the past 6 months or so, I've gone through 4 packs and I have yet to get one that is dry. No issues so far!

Hard to get a full face of makeup off with these. Not worth the price.

Not my favorite makeup removing wipes. Smell is strong, wipes burn my skin/eyes and i have to scrub my face to get makeup off. Wipes seem dry, like there's not enough product?

I would not recommend these for sensitive skin, they burn and the scent is strong.

The fragrance is subtle but nice. It burns my eyes and takes awhile for my makeup to come off. I think it's because the wipe doesn't have enough the stuff to take it off?

These wipes burned my skin pretty badly. I was worried I wouldn't be able to go to work the next day!

Irritated my skin, and made me breakout. I experienced a very unpleasant burning and stinging sensation upon application, then woke up the next day to acne breakouts. Wouldn't recommend if you have sensitive skin like mine.

I bought these because I needed to switch my wipes due to my favorites being OOS. Biodegradable? Sign me up. But these come with no warning for "do not use on eyes/mouth/etc." These BURN if you try to remove eye makeup or lip products. Tarte, step up! I think you rushed this release. As a graphic designer who loves packaging details, this lacks so much consumer information!

I LOVE these wipes! They smell amazing, feel so refreshing, and I love that they are biodegradable.

Not sure if these wipes are better or worse... I certainly cannot use fragranced products do these are a no for me. And why would anyone want to? It's terrible for your skin unless it comes from a natural source—and last I checked a little bit of coconut oil makes everything smell just like coconuts! But fragrance is higher on the list of ingredients...
Props for doing a biodegradable wipe. But maybe take real skin care into the equation if you're going to be about the earth care.

These smell so good. It made me really happy when I found out they are biodegradable. They work really well too.
