Most Helpful Positive Review The Best Concealer for My Under Eye Circles
I must say that I have been an avid MAC Cosmetic user for the past 15 yrs. I am extremely happy with their product, but most importantly this concealer. I have not come across another concealer that can hide my under-eye circles the way this one does. I have tried many products to hide these circles under my eyes, which by the way to me are UGLY!!! These circles ruin the look of my pretty cocoa-brown skin. So I was recommended to try this product over 10 yrs ago and have been using it every since. I recommend this product for those who have the same issue. I see that ppl are saying it looks caky/thick on their skin. In my honest opinion you may be putting too much on!! It does not take much of this product to cover your circles, so I can see how you get that caky/thick look!!
I also find that it helps after putting on your makeup, to get a cold damp cloth and "set" your face, taking away the appearance of too much makeup/caky look. Just run the cloth in cold water, ring it out, and set on your face and pat lightly. This really helps, pay special attention to your eye area, not to pat too hard, but just enough to remove what you may believe is excess.
I've been doing it for the past 15yrs now and my skin looks flawless after I've applied my makeup and done that trick.
I WOULD NOT CHANGE THIS PRODUCT OR GO TO ANOTHER PRODUCT PERMANENTLY TO SAVE MY LIFE!! THANKS MAC :-)
Most Helpful Critical Review Not for me
I only bought this concealer because I'm very fair skinned and the only concealer mac had in Nc10 was this one. When i tried it at home it was hard as a brick and I could get almost no product from it. I found out that if I heat it up before i use it, it becomes creamy and the texture that I want it to be.
When it has dried on my skin it becomes extremely matte and cakey, no matter the amount of product I used. And it most certainly can NOT be used as an under eye concealer. It look absolutely terrible.
I do though sometimes use it to cover a pimple because the product has a very good coverage, but also then it looks cakey.

Best concealer for scars
Steffanie91 from Michigan
1.This is my favorite concealer for covering up acne scars! I use nc20 for my under eyes, and nc30 for the rest of my face. I use my Artis brush for under eye concealing, which seems to work better for me, than a sponge or other less dense brush. 2.One pot of concealer last a year, since I don't need to use much.

Natural finish and long lasting
Eva from MI
Love this concealer for around the eyes and to cover blemishes. The finish is very natural, and not drying. I find that this does not crease or settle in fine lines either. The added spf 35 does not seem to bother my eyes and provides extra protection to not cause further damage of my skin. A little bit of products goes a long way. This pot has lasted me so long I will also not be able to finish it before it expires. Highly recommend.

So disappointing, shows every fine line

I bought this after MAC discontinued their Select Cover-Up (which I loved) and was hoping to be wowed, but this stuff is so disappointing. I use it to cover dark circles and it goes on smooth, but settles and clumps into every crease within an hour. I barely have lines, just the finest early ones around my eyes, but this emphasizes them. And the coverage of my dark circles is just okay, but it doesn't have a lot of staying power. Total waste of money.
Waste of money

It was completely dry when I opened it. It was so dry I couldn't even rub it on my finger.

This is such a good quality, beautiful concealer. It has great color payoff, blend ability and coverage. The only reason I am giving this 1 less star is because I found it to be a little dry and getting in my creases but I also have dryer skin so I don't blame the concealer because that nothing a little powder can't fix (i also use my finger for it under my eye to warm it up) . I love it for spot concealing (where i have no problem with the formula at all) and either a base or simply by itself under the eyes. Would recommend.
Sunup from Lindsay, CA
This stuff is great! It has wonderful coverage and applies nice and smooth. I also love that is has spf protection as I'm not able to apply sunscreen close to my eyes. The shade NW15 is very pale and works perfect with a porcelain skin tone. Highly recommended!!
My new holy grail item
Tessa from Arizona
My friend gave me the end of her container in 20N to use as an eye primer because she knew I'd love it. It had just the edges left and lasted me over a month! That alone impressed me! I ended up getting 15N bc I needed something a little lighter. I have tried maybe 5 or 6 eye primers so far and this blows ALL OF THEM out of the water! It takes such a little amount and the coverage is insane! The container isn't one of those trick containers where the bottom is only 1/3 of the way down. You actually get the whole container worth. It is a holy grail item in my make up routine now. I recommend it to everyone who even hints at needed a new primer or concealer!
Been using for over 15 years!
Selena from Miami, FL
This has been my HG concealer for over 15 years which is saying something! It's a solid small pot of long-lasting pigment (I use NC42) and it lasts for ages. Compact enough to slip into any bag or purse, with an SPF of 35 which means if I've concealed a blemish left behind after a breakout, there's no way any UV rays are going to darken those marks! I don't use this for large areas as I find it looks slightly orange-y on me (yet I cannot find another shade that blends in so well when using on just a tiny area, weird huh?). What I do is apply with the tiniest brush possible, such as MAC's Synthetic Pointed Liner brush, directly onto any minor blemish in a dabbing motion, and within seconds it's as though it was never there! I'm one of those people who hardly ever touch my face at all (good job, considering...) but I guess for those that do you would need to use a setting powder as this will not stay on otherwise. One very slight issue I've had has been the transparent plastic lid caving in. Previously I've been able to push it until it clicks back in place, but on my most recent pot this hasn't been possible and it refuses to stay put. Not the biggest of problems but would be better if more sturdy. Otherwise I cannot fault this and will continue to use for as long as it's around. -> My 'Ulta Beauty Top 7 must-have list' (thought it might be useful to share my 7 favorite beauty products of all time, focusing mainly on my purchases at Ulta) < - < 1. Best concealer I've ever used
B from Santa Maria, Ca
I have used tarte shape tape, nars radiant, It cosmetics bye bye undereye, maybelline fit me, mac longwear and this one beats them all. I was skeptical when the Ulta staff picked this for me. But sure glad did! It covers my dark circles and is creamy enough to not look dry and cakey on my dry under eyes without looking shiny and wet. The key is to use your finger to apply so that the product warms up to the right consistency. I can wear this with full on glam makeup to no foundation.
Love, Love, Love!

I originally bought this to use to spot conceal under my foundation! Worked wonders! Blends out, but keeps its pigmentation.
cream full coverage lots of product
ash from ks
I've had the same pot for two yrs. cream really is the economical way to go. liquids are just watered down. this covers impeccably. I dab with my finger or blend with a brush. either way I'm done in record time and it stays put. I suggest ulta carry the foundation that goes with this. I'm off to the mac store to pick one up in my winter shade right now.

Not Impressed At All
MNM815 from Indianapolis, IN
I tried this concealer for the first time after the previous M.A.C Concealer that I had been using is no longer sold in the US for some reason. I chose this concealer over others listed on this website because of the great reviews. This was the first time that I have ever tried a "pressed" concealer, so to say (A concealer that comes in an eyeshadow like container versus being more of a liquid and coming in a "mascara like" container.). To me, this concealer was thick and pasty and it did not smooth in/blend well. It just stayed an obvious "blob" on the surface of my skin in the area that I was trying to conceal. I am returning this and will be looking for a more liquid concealer (in a "mascara like" container), and I cannot find one from/by M.A.C., I will be going to another brand to find a concealer like I have used in the past and like I am describing.

Disappointed with actual size. Looks more like a tiny sample size vs a full size.
