Most Helpful Positive Review Better than any others I have tried
I will admit, I was very skeptical about this working. I have tried so many brushes like this and hated every single one of them. All of them made my hair a big fluffy mess.
This brush really does work but it's definitely not the same as using a flat iron. This straightened my hair very well but still left it with too much body. I know this is a personal preference since a lot of people are trying to add body to their hair. My natural hair is huge, fluffy, wavy and sticks out from my head so far. I look ridiculous. So for me, I am looking to reduce the body my hair has. My flat iron does this perfectly. This brush did do a great job at straightening my waves though. This is the perfect brush for touch-ups after my hair is already straight.
This is so easy to use but you have to make sure you are using it properly or it won't work. You do not just brush your hair like you do with a regular.brush. You still have to separate sections as if you are using a flat iron. I love that this brushes as it straightens. The heat for this is perfect. It gets really hot (400°) My hair was very hot to the touch after running this through it. That is a huge plus for me since I need a very high heat for my hair to straighten. So many straighteners do not get hot enough for me, this one does.
Another really great feature is that the button must be held in to turn it on and off, or at least for me it did. I can't even count the amount of times I have turned off my strengtheners because I accidentally hit the button. There is no way for this to happen unless I hold the button down long enough.
Overall, this is a really great straightening brush and I do recommend it. It is a million times better than any of the others that I have tried. It might not reduce the body in my hair as much as I had hoped but most people will be very happy with the ease of use and the results.
Most Helpful Critical Review It's Okay
I have seen similar straightening brushes advertised for years but never tried one until now. I have however used the original instyler in the past and it worked well. For reference I have African-American hair that is chemical free (no perm), but I always wear it straight (pressed). So normally I blow dry it and then use a flat iron to straighten it. I used this brush in a few scenarios. The first time I used it after my normal routine of shampoo, condition, and blow dry. Which means my hair was somewhat straight but not bone straight like I prefer. It worked okay for that. This is not a flat iron so it will not give you the same affect. But it could work if you don't want your hair to be completely straight but you still want it somewhat smoothed out. The second time i used it was after I flat ironed it normally and went to the gym a few days later. I used the brush around my edges and the nape of my neck where my hair started to revert back due to moisture. This is where I feel it works the best. You are able to get close to your scalp and not burn your skin. It still doesn't get completely straight but it didn't bother me because I knew I would have the same issue the next time I went to the gym. It heats up fast but It only has one heat setting (400 degrees) so I think that is why it doesn't completely straighten my hair. I like that it has a smaller profile and would be perfect to travel or pack in you gym bag. Overall, I would recommend it for touch ups but not to completely straighten your hair.

So easy to use and it took less than 10 minutes to style.

I'm just starting out with hot tools. I've always just let my curly hair dry the way it wants and just dealt with it. Every now any again I go and get a blow out done just to make myself feel a little better about my hair. I figured I'd give this a shot. If it didn't work then I could always just return it. I'm EXTREMELY glad I bought this! I wash my hair at night, let it dry and run this little brush through it and I am set for days afterwards. You will not be sorry if you buy this. On a plus side it travels really well too.
Original instyler from Sullivan mo
I like how convenient this straightening brush is. It truly straightens and it is lightweight, compact, and heats up to a great temp. However, I have only used it basically on the go maybe a handful of times and bristles are already falling out. Not happy about that at all.
Tried this product 1st time

To uncomfortable to use. Shape not easy to maneuver in the hair.
Too small to be effective

This is second one of these. Maybe its just the mini, but it takes FOREVER to use. My hair is thin, but I lost patience with it.
In would buy this again

It's a perfect size for our small bathroom. It fits perfectly in my tiny cabinet of space I have. With being so small, it packs a pretty big heat punch! My hair can be difficult to straighten but the brush moved through my hair straightening without a problem! What normally takes 30 min or more only took 10! My hair stayed straight for two days and usually by the next morning it's curly and unruly again! Kudos! Only thing I wish this mini brush had was a temp adjuster but still was an amazing product!

It's a nice size, easy to handle and will travel well. I love how easy it makes it to smooth out and shape my wavy bob!

Easy to use

I have never used a straightener that was styled like a brush; however, I am a convert! It was so easy to use and worked so well. My hair is not curly, but is definitely wavy with a tendency to frizz. This was so easy to use to style my hair and left it beautifully long and straight. I absolutely recommend this over traditional straighteners.

Horrible. Left my hair staticky. Waste of money.
Beautyqueenpr from Texas
Was not expecting it to be small. However it does get the work done for most occasions. Depending how fast I want the process to go. I would have to go over it with a flat iron. However it's still good product because it does get the job done but not to the perfection that I would ideally like.

Works really well!

This is a really good product, especially when most straightening brushes aren't that good. I have thick, wavy and frizzy hair, and this brush makes my hair super straight without pulling my hair out. Keeps my hair pretty straight without my hair poofing up too much. It heats up really quick and doesn't give off any odors. The only complaint is that it doesn't straighten my roots that well. I have to go in with a normal straightener for that but that doesn't bother me.
Didn't do a thing

Bought one for my boyfriends beads and one for myself to straighten out the cowlick in the back of my head. Didn't work for either of us. I'm returning both.
I would not buy this again

You guys BUY THIS!! I am a hairdresser and let me tell you I have never come across a hot tool I've loved more than this item!
not worth for shorter hair
93turtles from santee
Shoulder length medium thick slight wave hair. got this cause I figured it would be quick.... by the time I got my hair to look the way I wanted I would have spent half the time just using my straightener. mind you I was not looking for stick straight hair but more just controlled. Sometimes I felt the brush was hotter at different times. it was just not worth it with my length of hair.

The best travel brush i've ever used!
I recommend this hot brush
Helcat from New jersey
I use a small hot brush because of issues with my hand. It's much easier to hold and it styles and straightens quickly. Takes care of frizz.
On-the-Go Touch Up Brush
Em from Orange County, CA
Decent brush for the price. It's really helpful for touch-ups to tame frizz and straighten out wavy pieces. I have thicker hair, so it doesn't completely straighten my hair, but definitely helps it look more put together in a pinch. It takes me about 10-15 minutes to run it through all of my hair. I also love the convenient size for travel and on-the-go styling. The brush heats up pretty fast, but won't burn you if you touch the plastic bristles. Definitely recommend!
It's super good

It works well from curly hair to straight but to small
