Most Helpful Positive Review I can't wait to order more!
I received the "Spring" Stick of Butter as a Christmas gift, and I'm so glad I did, because I doubt I would have ever bought it for myself, basically because I've never used a "stick" form of lotion. However, this product has made me a believer! I'll never go back to traditional lotions again! First of all, I love that I don't actually have to use my hands to rub the lotion in - just push up the bottom of the stick and rub it wherever, 'til your heart's content, or your skin feels good, whichever comes first. Secondly, I love that it's not greasy whatsoever. I can't stand lotions or creams that you put on, and then look like you've been greased up. (The true test for this product will come in the summer - I live in Louisiana, and will be interested to see how the "swamp sweats" factor into its non-oiliness). Third, it makes my skin feel GOOD. Not itchy, not rubbery, just soothing and soft. Finally, the "Spring" scent is just really pretty. It's not overwhelming, and I like that it kind of absorbs into your skin, so it's not just obnoxious initially, then disappears, like most lotions. If I use the stick before bed, I can still get a small whiff of it in my skin when I wake up. BTW, a small tip for those who think it is initially "hard" to use before you kind of get it warmed up on your skin - I take mine into the bathroom with me when I'm showering, and then use it afterwards. The steam from the shower warms it just enough so it's not so stiff those first few swipes.
Most Helpful Critical Review "frozen" stick of butter
I can tell the quality of ingredient is good, love the smell, and it does a decent job of moisturizing, but the biggest problem is how hard the stick is which makes put it on so, so difficult, and I live in LA with warm temps, so it is not like the stick is too cold.

I use the stick of butter for both my feet and lips. I have two sticks one for each lol. My feet have never looked better. I put on my dry heels at nice and put pair socks on and next day all the dry is gone and my feet look brand new. I also use this instead of chapstick on my lips it feels great. And you can really put it anywhere you have dry skin and it can just be tossed in your purse like chapstick. I cannot live with out my stick up butter. I have been using for last two years. One stick last my a long time. That is another think I like about the Beekman 1802 products they last and you don't have to put a ton on for it to be effective.
Must have on the go

I do not leave home without this little stick of goodness. You can throw it in your purse or bag and never worry about spills because it is a solid, while having plenty of excellent moisture right at your fingertips. I first tried it on a trip to England in December. Yes, it was cold, yes it was windy, and yes my skin took a beating going into and out of very heated buildings. In a moment I could give my face, my hands and even my lips the soothing love they needed. I was astounded that I came home with wonderful memories AND great skin. It goes on smooth, it's never sticky, and it absorbs right into your skin without feeing greasy or heavy.
Great solid moisturizer

This Stick Of Butter has so many uses. It's not greasy or oily in anyway. I like it on my lips (Beekman also has awesome lip balms), around my eyes and anywhere I might have a dry patch. It's in a solid form so easy to travel with or keep in your purse or car.
Excellent lip and cuticle balm

This is a great product that works on my lips and cuticles. No more dry patches!
Was surprised how much I liked this

This is one of Beekman 1802's most versatile products. I keep one in my purse and one at home. A quick swipe on dry skin immediately soothes itching. It moisturizes facial skin in winter climates and helps with all year rough skin areas such as elbows and feet. It can be used all over the body and is so convenient to use.
Great for on the go skin hydration.

Stick of Butter is a convenient product to carry anywhere or have in your desk at work. No mess and easy application. I've used it in the winter on cracked knuckles from over washing and sanitizing working in healthcare. It's amazing. Also nice to use at bedtime as it stays on skin.

Wanted to love this...

the problem was that the scent was SO strong, I just could not use it. It smelled like incense. Maybe a description of the components of the scents will help those of us ordering by mail to know what to expect.

The fabulous fix for my very dry summer skin
Kate A. from USA
When I first received "Stick of Butter" I was little dissatisfied with the "chalky" texture, however after just a few uses, it easily softened up. I have extremely dry skin and for many years, I have agonized with many applications of greasy lotions and creams, which needed to be applied several times in a day. I was very happily surprised that "butter" need be applied only once and keeps my skin soft and moisturized all day without ever having the greasy residue of lotions on my hands. Now, the biggest problem I have is wondering which scent to order next. Thanks, Josh and Brent. I love it.

it was a gift for a friend that also loves the Beekman Boys. She is truly enjoying it. Thank you.
Awesome for Eczema!
Gretchen C. from USA
I purchased this for my 2 year old granddaughter because she has severe eczema. This is the first product (other than prescriptions) that has made an improvement in her skin. She gets thick patches of dry skin on her hands and wrists and this is the only thing strong enough to work through those patches. This is not like a lotion or cream, it's more like a lip balm for your skin, which is great for her super dry skin. We love this product, my granddaughter even carries it around to use whenever she starts itching. Thank you for another great Beekman product!!!

I love the twist cap and metal container, but the butter was a little hard to spread. It is a little too sticky. I got the winter scent which is ok, but I prefer the Spring scent which I got in the little tub of butter. It has a nice vanilla smell to it. It was packed nice in the box and shipped quickly!
Everything is better with Butter!

I am thoroughly enjoying using the butter. It's been great for my dry lips, nose and elbows. Probably will be soothing on anything else I think of in the future.

Spring scent is very nice, not too strong. Don't care for the container too much, maybe a smaller amount in a tin that doesn't push up. Seems a tad dry, also. That said, I do like the product.
Sticks are extremely solid - but great
Amy V. from USA
Bought in both the spring and summer scents - sticks are a bit hard to get started, but once they start softening up, they go on nice and smooth. Super moisturizing. My only thought is that if you leave them out in the summer (ex: forgotten in a car), they may melt and the packaging may not contain all the product. Otherwise, another great Beekman product!
Butter? More like hard cheese.

I enjoy the moisturizing effects of the tubs of butter. But this order of stick of butter not at all creamy. In fact on had yo really dig my fingers in there and it was all crumbs.hard and not smooth. Not sure what to do with it.

Not crazy about this product, not creamy enough to glide on your hands or body! I lov my soap !!!
Winter Stick of Butter means No more dry skin!
Trudy B. from USA
Bought for my best friend who no matter what she tried, couldn't get rid of her dry, wind burnt skin that this harsh, nasty winter in the NorthEast has caused. Worked like a dream and did not sting her skin. I got her the Winter Stick of Butter and she loved it!
Stick o' Buttah
Kimberley M. from USA
I have seasonal eczema and haven't really been using my steroidal cream, so I applied that stick o' buttah kind of like a lotion so my hands wouldn't be so dry, and... BAM! My eczema has gone away, although I still have the dark patches from it, the rash itself is gone, unbelievably! You guys are doing great things in the Northeast - keep it up!
It's like butta..

Loved this product! Not only does it make my lips and skin smooth as a baby's bottom, but it smells good too. Thanks :)
Stick of Butter Winter & Spring
Phaedra O. from USA
I bought the Winter scent for my mother, who is notoriously picky about scents, and she loves it! The Spring scent I purchasrd for my daughtet, who is, unfortunately, allergic to one of the ingredients (almond oil). She gave it to me, and I love it. The scent is lovely, and I like that I can use it just about everywhere. Would definitely purchase again!

Autumn has a bit too much patchouli for me. I am going to purchase either Spring or Winter as a better option. It really does spread across my skin in a lovely spread. And skiing - that extra layer of protection is fabulous.
