Best contour stick

Comments about Smashbox Step-By-Step Contour Stick Singles:

I don't cAre what anyone says this is the best contour stick out there. It's the perfect shape to apply the contour exactly when you want it to go. It blends so easily. I fell in love with it! They stopped selling it in stores idk why. I been trying other brands and nothing can compare. I'm glad ulta has the individual ones for sale again even if it's online only . It's worth the wait

Comments about Smashbox Step-By-Step Contour Stick Singles:

I absolutely adore the Smashbox contour stick. I've tried to many other cream contours that either left gray casts or made me look orange. This is the perfect shade for me. It blends SO easily so you only need a tiny amount of product to get the job done. I use the Real Techniques Blend and Blur contour brush to blend and it does a perfect job. I wish you got a little more product from the stick, but I will continue to repurchase regardless!

Comments about Smashbox Step-By-Step Contour Stick Singles:

I own the Smashbox Cream Contour Stick Trio, and replenish my Contour shade w/the singles, since I run out of that shade more quickly than the other two. All three shades are awesome, but the Contour shade is TOPS! Using a Light Hand, right under the cheek bone, mark with 'X's', darker at the ear, and lighter towards the pupil. Three 'X's' are all you need. Using a synthetic brush and a Light Hand, blend softly up and back until desired look is achieved. Forehead/Temples- dot a few LIGHT dots up the sides of my face/temples, then draw a line like a rainbow on my forehead w/a cpl extra light lines on the perimeter. Blend with a light hand into the hairline- not down towards brows. I could go on and on about how great these sticks are- especially the Contour shade. Great for beginners and veterans. Quick and easy peasy lemon squeezy. Beautiful finish- like a pro did your makeup. Highly recommend!!

Comments about Smashbox Step-By-Step Contour Stick Singles:

I originally bought the anastasia contour palette, but I found that it was pretty bulky to carry in my makeup bag for every day use. I was looking for a contour stick that didn't have too much of an "orange-y" or a warm base since I am so fair. This blends well and I can build coverage depending on how much contour I want or if I have used self tanner or not.

I currently have the Smashbox contouring stick that says "Highlight". Has that been replaced with Illuminate? If so, is it the same color, as it appears to be darker on the photo.

Hi There! Highlight and Illuminate are different products. Illuminate may appear lighter on the skin because it bounces and reflects light.
