Most Helpful Positive Review Black Girl Friendly!
Since the beginning of my makeup obsession, bronzer has always been a favorite of mine! It's a shame that not many brands cater to shades darker than a Kardashian. Props to makeup revolution for remembering that black girls also like makeup and catering to a once (and by many brands, STILL) overlooked group of consumers. The product itself is massive and boooooy is it pigmented. I got medium dark, it's perfect. The fact that I came to leave a review only to find that almost ALL of the shades are sold out! Other brands need to take notice. But their loss if they want to stay exclusive. My brown skin beauties, we have purchasing power and we will go where we are wanted, or we will start our own (shoutout to Fenty, Beauty Bakerie, and The Lip Bar)
Most Helpful Critical Review Can't get over the smell ...
I was impressed with the packaging and the size. It was a good value for the money and the packaging is sleek and doesn't feel cheap which is a good thing. However, it has a HEAVY coconut fragrance in the powder so it immediately made me squeamish.
The powder can look a little patchy, but going in with a light hand and a fluffy brush seemed to help blend it out well.
The powder was too dark for me (think Too Faced Chocolate Soleil) which is fine. Not every product works for every person.

I have a Carmel/cocoa complexion and this has been a great powder contour! I find myself using this instead of my normal cream contour.
great bronzer for dark skin

I have a really hard time finding bronzers for my skin tone but this is the one! it blends nicely, gives the desired effect of adding dimension to your face, the pan size of huge, and it's a great value. I use it every time i do my makeup. and this is the first bronzer range i've ever seen that i'm not the darkest shade!
Love this product!!!

I am a women of color with deep skin. I am so grateful there is a shade that I can contour with! I absolutely love this product! I would highly recommend this product it's worth the money!

The best bronzer I've ever used! It definitely glowed but I was still very matte. It's a must buy!

This bronzer is gorgeous for the price. You can't beat it compared to the other high end brands. GET IT!!!

Being African American, most drugstore bronzers are either too light, or don't show up. But this formula is PERFECT. Both me and my sister bought this because it was so good. We are both in the shade medium, which surprisingly is already a beautifully dark shade for brown-skinned complexions. Highly recommend!!
Nellysmom from Stl
I like how easy it was to blend a bit powdery but overall a decent bronzer &I think might be darker on the skin than you expect

Such a pretty bronzer. Get it!!!
Good colors bad product
Lexi from Kentucky
I have a tan skin tone and it is hard to find bronzers that show up. However, I love the shade range this has. I got the lightest one and it was a perfect color for me, so I'm happy that they have colors for all the dark skin queens who can basically never find a bronzer color. With all that said, it was u fortunately not a very good product. Very hard to blend out. Patchy, muddy looking, just not very good :(

for reference im shade 370 in fenty (i only wear concealer) and i ordered this in medium and its just too dark for me and i dont like the undertone. its also pretty hard to blend out. however it's really pigmented so you might like it.
Absolutely Horrible! Worst Bronzer I've Ever Tried!!
Lacey from Ohio
The lightest shade is way too dark for someone with light or fair skin. The color looks decent in the pan, but when applied it makes your face a sickly gray. I tried to blend it away with setting powder and add a new bronzer on top, but that didn't help. I ended up having to wipe off my full face of makeup and start again because this bronzer looked so bad.

patchy doesn't blend well
The perfect brown girl bronzer
Arriel from Mississippi
I have searched for the perfect bronzer for at least a year. They were either too red, way too dark or matched my foundation color. I've found my perfect match! 🙌🏾 the pan is huge and perfect for larger brushes unlike other brands. I won't run out for a while but when I do, will definitely buy again
For darker skinned beauties

Finally, there is a bronzer for darker skin tones. If you are light-skinned like me, this wasn't made for you. I'd say it's more for tanned to very deep skin tones. I only downvoted it by one for the patchiness and the strong scent. I think that's something to be improved upon in the next batch.

Looks very muddy, I was disappointed. Hard to blend out
Great shade range
Ali from TX
This bronzer comes in a great shade range and I think leans towards darker complexions. I'd recommend going in with a light hand because it is very pigmented. It has a light coconut scent that I personally enjoy. I am a medium tan complexion and the lightest shade in this is a perfect contour/ bronzing shade for me. Definitely would recommend.
Too Dark For Me
Rocky from Rochester, NY
These bronzers are definitely for WOC and that's amazing but they should of put that in the description. I'm fair to light skinned so I purchased the light shade and it is way to dark for me. I love makeup revolution and I'm so happy that they are expanding to include more products for WOC!!
Finally Bronzers for Black people
Black Bronzed from Sacramento
I got the light shade for my kit and Medium for myself. I assumed the light would be useful for fair clients but it's actually really deep and definitely shows up on my NC44 skin. Don't know if theses were made specifically for POCs but other brands need to take note.
Beautiful Shades, Patchy Product
Brooke from SC
I bought this in shades Light and Medium. While the colors are fantastic, this is extremely patchy and hard to blend. I love the color range and the "light" shade is PERFECT for me as a NC30ish. But the product itself does not perform well at all :/ two stares because the shade range is beautiful but the actual product is kind of terrible.
makeup rev for the win

This line of bronzers is def for brown and darkskin girls period. im 440/445 in fenty and medium dark is hella dark on me. im getting dark next, can't wait. Get it sis if u was thinking bout it.
These run deep! Good Job Makeup Revolution!!!
Gg from Racine
For reference im about the same shade as Jackie Aina. I got the deep bronzer and honestly it could be a contour, which is fine by me but that how deep and rich the color is. If you want these though more so for just warming the face like a bronzer I'd recommend going one shade up if possible.
Ray from NY
I have a light skin tone, so I chose the one geared toward lighter skin (I'm normally the lightest or next to the lightest shade in bronzers) but even the 'light' was way too dark. Didn't much care for the smell either, it's very pungent, like day-old coconut. The packaging is beautiful though.
Very impressed overall!
muagrace from KS
This bronzer launch is setting a new standard and I hope other brands are paying attention. I love the shade range! I just want my fellow fair skinned people to know that the lightest shade "light" is more suited for a light-medium complexion. This bronzer is very blendable, just too dark for me and showed up orange on me. I ended up putting it into my freelance kit. Also note that there is a fragrance if you're sensitive to that. Altogether I still say good job Makeup Revolution! Maybe in the future a a "fair" shade can be created.
