Stinks!

Comments about ULTA SPF 50 Sunscreen Rose Water Setting Spray:

Smells don't bother me but his smells so gross. Like bandaids or rubber gloves. Not sure if it works because it smells so bad and stays smelling.

It burns

By Chrichards

from Mobile, Al

Comments about ULTA SPF 50 Sunscreen Rose Water Setting Spray:

This is the worst setting spray I've ever use. I had my makeup fully done except for the setting spray. I use this and the sprayer does not mist my face, it doused me with burning liquid beads. When I regained my sight, I noticed that my makeup has completely separated. It's so bad and stuck to my skin a makeup remover wipe wouldn't remove it. I had to use a face scrub. It's been about 30 minutes and my eyes STILL burn. Definitely returning

If you've tried SuperGoop you will probably like this, it has a cool sensation when you first apply and finishes matte. For the price I'd repurchase this instead. I like really that the bottle is plastic.

this product is full of alcohol and it burns and stings when applied (don't get it in your eyes!). i will go back to using a high quality (obagi) cream facial sunscreen.

      Woah that's some heavy alcohol

      By Nutritiouslunch

      from Gainesville FL

Comments about ULTA SPF 50 Sunscreen Rose Water Setting Spray:

Off the bat I think it works. It smells strongly of sunscreen (if that doesn't bother you) and it doesn't make me look as oily as Coola, nor have I broken out, yet. HOWEVER- the alcohol content must be pretty high because it reeks of it on application and stings any chapped skin (like lips) and eyes, so hard. It's not a simple close your eyes and spray anymore. It's a cover your eyes with your hands sort of spray. While I'm willing to look over the smell and avoid the sting, I cant imagine constantly spraying alcohol on the face will do it good, though I understand it needs to be there so the spray evaporates quickly. However, use sparingly when short on time.

      Smells nice

      By CrystalC

Comments about ULTA SPF 50 Sunscreen Rose Water Setting Spray:

This spray is a great setting spray and it smells nice. I bought it while on sale in the winter so I am not sure how well it defends against the sun. I will find out when summer comes to New England!

      Its ok

      By GlendosGirl

      from KinstoN,NC

Comments about ULTA SPF 50 Sunscreen Rose Water Setting Spray:

It does smell odd, which i was assuming it would being that theres sunscreen in it. At first it smells decent and then the after smell is all sunscreen, the kind that comes in an aerosol can. i didnt think it was horrible but my kids think it stinks. i like how it does seem to set my makeup pretty well but i honestly dont think it helps with shine even though its a matte setting spray. Again i think thats because of the sunscreen in it. it can make your face seem a little sticky at first like you got some hairspray on your face but after a while the oil and shine does come through.

        By n.

Surprised to see not many complaining about the smell because it's horrendous. It smells like pure chemicals. The smell aside, the product is pretty amazing.

Would this product work on combination/ dry skin, that can be pretty sensitive? I mostly have just used a primer spray that is hypoallergenic but I am interested in the SPF of this product. I have fair skin and my makeup products don't really provide sun protection right now.
