Most Helpful Positive Review Better than Coola and SuperGoop
I have super pale, sensitive skin and I use prescription trentinoin which makes my skin even more susceptible to sunburn/damage. Last year I discovered the Coola and Supergoop setting sprays with spf and loved them. I used them daily over my makeup and even on makeup free days as my sun protection. I took them to the beach and they prevented sunburn completely. I love this setting spray even more than those two because it has a better fine mist. The formula and scent reminds me of the Supergoop one which I love but I was not crazy about the Supergoop mister. Use common sense and close your eyes and hold your breath while using these products and they work great. This is really the only way you can apply sunscreen the recommended every two hours without disrupting makeup.
Most Helpful Critical Review It burns
This is the worst setting spray I've ever use. I had my makeup fully done except for the setting spray. I use this and the sprayer does not mist my face, it doused me with burning liquid beads. When I regained my sight, I noticed that my makeup has completely separated. It's so bad and stuck to my skin a makeup remover wipe wouldn't remove it. I had to use a face scrub. It's been about 30 minutes and my eyes STILL burn. Definitely returning
Reviewed by 248 customers The pump did clog, but I added a few drops of water.

I use this multiple times a day, as I don't like to use sunscreen under mu makeup. It did clog badly when I first bought, but I added a few drops of water and cleaned the pump and now it is fine. It seems to protect well.
Didnt believe reviews
Brittany from Chicago
Sprayer clogged after using it like 5 times. Not sure if it works because I didn't burn but didn't test it out on really sunny days. Good idea but bad execution
Jordann from IN
Loved this the first few times I used it but the pump sticks. After awhile I could only get it to spray once before sticking and not working anymore.
Great price. Does the job
Cin from San Mateo, CA
Great product for the price. Works well for what it's supposed to do. Wish the smell was better but I can live with it. Wish the mist was finer.
Not worth it
Ali from Richmond, VA
This pump is TERRIBLE! Seems like a minor thing but trust, it's not. It's constantly getting stuck, so it makes the application splotchy (droplets on the foundation). On multiple occasions the pump even got stuck without me realizing and leaked all over my bag. The SPF works, yes, but it's so dewy/shiny, it's basically just spray sunscreen with a worse pump and smaller bottle.
Good for the price

Worked pretty well

i use this when i want to wear a light amount of makeup for an outdoor event. one of my best makeup purchases yet!
The bottle doesn't spray that well
Kenn from Fenton MI
This product works great if you can get it to spray. It is not oily and works well doesn't clog pores either.
Sunset from New Jersey
This product worked pretty good but after a while it stopped working properly. It started to leave from the top and it wasn't spraying properly. The smell is also a little strong.
I sprained my wrist (not joking) using this
Hannah Z from Cincinnati, OH
Okay so overall, it's actually not bad. It does set, the SPF is high, and it's very light on your skin, non-greasy, but the bottle design is incredibly poor; seriously whoever manufactured this bottle needs to be fired, and it should be recalled. The nozzle doesn't bounce back up for you to spray it again, you have to force it to pop-up. In having to turn my wrist to, quite literally, FORCE it to spray onto my face, I sprained my wrist. I ended up transferring it to a different bottle, and I love it. So I would genuinely buy this again, but it should be cheaper since we have to buy a new bottle to be able to use it.
I love it, except it quits spraying after a few uses
Eastcoastncgal from Wilmington, NC
I actually really like the product because it's so easy to reapply. No strong perfume scent, lightweight, dries quickly, and didn't burn my skin. Super bummed the pump quit working so fast! I'll try 1 more time because the product itself is good!
Gandyu from Minnesota
Smells terrible, like so bad I simply threw it in the trash.
Bottle stopped spraying and leaked

Bottle stopped spraying and leaked over everything. Ruined a purse.
This really did not impress me
Aafia from Columbus, ohio
I put on regular Ointment-type sunscreen on my face at the beginning of the day and then reapply this through the day every two hours. Unfortunately the spray mechanism is really faulty and sticks. It doesn't allow me to spray my face with a generous spritzing because I have to touch the head and pull it back up manually after every Spray. Not only that but I also hate how it burns my eyes. I have to keep my eyes closed for a really long time after spraying to wait for it to disperse which is mildly annoying. Not only that but I also have to hold my breath because it also stings my nose. I will not be buying this product again.
Made it Work
Michelle from Granger, IN
So I read the reviews before purchasing this product, I bought this specifically for the SPF 50 and little else. I can put on a full face of makeup, set it with a setting spray I prefer (usually the urban decay all nighter), and shake the bottle of this setting spray for a solid 30 seconds and sprits it onto my face, and keep my eyes closed for 30 seconds until it dries. I've never had any unevenness with this method, and it didn't alter my makeup. If you take SPF and put the setting spray on/near your eyes and don't let it dry before opening them, it will burn. It says so on the bottle. If you don't want it to burn, or don't want to risk getting it in your eyes, I highly recommend shaking the bottle and spraying the setting spray on a stipple brush and applying it with the brush as an alternative. It will also guarantee you an even distribution of the product across your face. I give it 4 stars, because it would be awesome if the setting spray was better enough to set your makeup without Urban Decay's help, but really it does what I see as it's intended job, which is keeping your face protected from harmful UV rays while letting you douse your face in makeup while also not ruining your makeup while doing so.
I would but this over and over

Love it. Great protection without having to touch my face
Smells too much like suntan lotion
Morgan from Binghamton NY
I hate using things with spf on my face as it's greasy and just feels heavy. I'd hoped this would protect and feel fine. But it's just like suntan lotion over makeup or clean faces.
!! from Cali
It left my skin almost patchy texture and my makeup was peeling. Left residue on eyebrows and my hair. Obviously I didn't spray my hair but I do get every angle of my face including my forehead, which I do have baby hairs and left white dandruff.
I bought two and both the nozzles broke within a week.
Sophia from Santa Rosa
I would not order this product again. I bought two bottles to leave one at home and put another in my purse for impromptu beach trips or picnics. Both the nozzles broke within the week, which renders them useless. I didn't have them long enough to figure out if they were a good sunblock. I would not recommend buying this.
Ronie from New England
I've had my eye on this for a while now. I also took my time to read the reviews before I purchased it. I still was curious about it so I ordered it anyways. Honestly it's a waste of money. It does burn when you spray it on like people say. Your makeup gets cakey and starts to melt off. I've worn makeup in the sun plenty of times & never had this big of an issue. But I was curious to try this out to get extra sunscreen and it's not worth it. I'm glad I got it for half off at least.
Sylvia from LA
This product is ok, I can't stand the the nozzle gets stuck all the time!
Used just for sunscreen
natsmccats from WI
I hate sunscreen and it always makes my skin feel disgusting. This stuff in particular does not smell very good and I'm not getting any rose scent either. I don't use it as a makeup setting spray but I wanted something light for every day use since the sun always beats down on the left side of my face to and from work. It didn't make my skin feel too gross. It didn't leave a white cast. Aside from the smell I hope I start to like it better.
melts your makeup
j1983 from battle creek mi
burns your eyes, never dries down and melts your makeup. wouldnt complain that much if it wasnt labeled as a setting spray.
I would recommend this product.
Beth from El Paso, Texas
The product is good, my only problem is the spray gets stuck. Otherwise I would have rated it much higher.
I would buy this product again

First time I have used this type of product. It feels refreshing on my face when using this product.
