Misleading

By Amy

from AR

Comments about Laura Geller Spackle Supercharged Under Make-Up Primer:

When I ordered Spackle I imagined something heavy-duty and thick to fill in my pores and fine lines. What I got was light, silky, heavily scented, with a light shimmer.

The marketing person who came up with the name Spackle has clearly never touched the stuff before. It's just fluffy marketing speak some corporate person came up with, no real substance.

Bad name choices aside, this product doesn't do much for my pores and fine lines. It is thinner than any of my other primers. It might slightly extend wear of foundation. I do like to wear it as a light, moisturizing layer under my makeup, but would never pay full price for that.

I love this for daily use. It's lightweight and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. It lasts about 6-8 hours with normal activity. I wouldn't use this product if you're looking for something that holds up to a lot of activity or for a special occasion. I was using Too Faced hangover replenishing primer for everyday use and I liked it but needed something better for aging skin.

Supercharged will be an excellent choice for you! It has hydration, anti-aging properties, soothing botanicals, and it does a great job at slightly filling in lines, wrinkles, and pores. I think you're going to love it!

                        A:

The hydrating primer has a ton of hydrating properties, so you can pretty much skip your regular moisturizer if you wanted to save time. The supercharged has more anti-aging properties like resveratrol. This is found in red wine and has incredible benefits for your heart and body, so we put it in our Spackle!

This Spackle sounds like it would be perfect for you! The original Spackle is completely colorless, and as it does contain amazing ingredients, it simply primes the skin. The Supercharged contains an extra boost of anti-aging antioxidants like Resveratrol, which is perfect for mature skin. It has a very faint peach skin which is so sheer you won't even notice. The peach will ever so slightly neutralize the complexion; I really think you're going to love it!

This primer will not add to the oil, and it will hold your makeup on and will keep it looking fresh all day long. You can try our Mattifying primer which is specifically designed to help with oil control and Mattify the skin throughout the day. You can also try one of our products called matte maker. This is an invisible setting powder that will completely eliminate shine and oil without adding, or taking away any markup ok the skin.

                        A:

Spackle will simply create a barrier between your skin and your makeup, so it's main job is to hold your makeup on. It is sheer and it does not have any coverage, so it definitely will not give the appearance of too much makeup on the skin at al. It basically looks like moisturizer when you blend it in. Enjoy!
