Comments about Japonesque Solid Brush Cleanser Cleansing Balm:

I have used many a spray cleaners before and they've been very MEH. This is super easy to use and it really gets EVERY bit of makeup off my brushes and sponges. I'm almost certain it's by means of magic. Japonesque is owned by wizards.

Comments about Japonesque Solid Brush Cleanser Cleansing Balm:

I had a beauty blender that no matter what I used to clean it with I would still have all this foundation residue inside of it! I was about to throw it away and buy a new one until I tried this cleanser and omg is this a life saver! Literally cleaned everything in a fraction of the time! Totally worth it! I'm amazed!!

Comments about Japonesque Solid Brush Cleanser Cleansing Balm:

I originally got this last year in an Ipsy bag. Took me awhile to use it because, let's face it, we don't clean our brushes as often as we are supposed to. It cleaned great but that's not what sold me, it was the SMELL. My brushes smelled like heaven. I didn't want to use them. I made my bf smell them. Made my bff smell them. Anyone that uses brushes Def needs to try these. I will use this until the day I die.

Comments about Japonesque Solid Brush Cleanser Cleansing Balm:

I've used this cleaner (goats milk) for my wet foundation brushes, my powder brushes and my eye liner brushes... OMG! Easy, quick and leaves the bristles soft as if they're brand new. I can't wait to try other Japonesque products! This is truly worth the purchase. Check. It. Out! You can't go wrong ladies!

                    • Q:

Is the texture a balm truly or is it a hard surface that moistens at the contact of water? If I press my finger into it, is it possible to lift off some of the product and rub it in my palm for example? How balmy is it really?

                        A:

The texture is more of a hard surface that moistens on contact with water which then turns into a balm. Without water pressing your finger on the balm itself will not lift.

I have extremely sensitive acne prone skin and check EVERYTHING I consider putting on my face for comedogenic ingredients. This has four ingredients ranging from mildly comedogenic to highly comedogenic. I understand that you rinse the product, but does any of it stay behind/is there enough to cause acne?

If brushes are rinsed properly and thoroughly, no residue will be left behind and we've received no indication acne may be caused. Make sure to allow to dry fully before using.

                    • Q:

I have been looking for a good brush cleaner and beauty blender cleanser, but I have very sensitive skin. I have contact dermatitis, so I have allot of allergies to many different scented things. I was curious if I should just try the unscented one only, or if the coconut scented one would be ok to use as well? Thanks!
