Most Helpful Positive Review has a learning curve, but gives a lovely effect I got this in the shade petal.jpg, which looks very pastel lilac in the pan but don't be fooled it is straight up pink on the cheeks. It gives a very natural yet present flush to my fair neutral skin, I would expect it to clash with warm undertones but look extra delicious on cool toned folks. It definitely is "soft matte", so not dry or uncomfortably matte, but certainly not dewy, which is more of what I go for. I also wanted to mention that it took me quite a few tries to figure out the best way for me to apply, which is digging out a bit of product with the back of my nail (think the tatcha silk canvas primer method) and then warm it up a bit between my fingertips before dabbing it on. Then I might blend it out a bit further and soften the edges with a beauty blender. The product is buildable. I'm really interested to try the dewy finish one.
Most Helpful Critical Review Disappointed I LOVE the shade pixel, it's a beautiful soft, slightly cool toned, light baby pink, but the formula of this stuff is so bad. There isn't much pigment at all, you really have to dig your fingers/brush/sponge in to get pigment. I could work with that, but honestly the way it looks on top of foundation is HORRIBLE, it cakes up the skin and sinks into the pores in a really weird displeasing way and just makes you look overall worse. It really makes me sad just cause I love the color so much :/ however, it looks fine on bare skin with no foundation or anything if you just apply it with fingers, and adds a bit of a blurring effect even, but you'll still have to use a lot to get a good amount of pigment on your face

I like this blush a lot. I apply it with my fingers to warm up the formula. It has good color payoff and doesn't feel greasy or like it's going to melt. It has become my go to blush.
Adore It! 5

I love this blush! It's not as scary as it looks, since the color is buildable. I really like this for my neutral skin tone (olive or almost yellow undertones). Super pink blush doesn't always suit me but this more orangey shade does!
Formula needs work 2

I got the shade Pixel and it's pretty in the pan. But this formula is confusing. It's "cream-to-powder" but it's actually neither. It doesn't apply like a cream or a powder. It's near impossible to apply! Brushes and sponges won't pick it up. And forget putting it on top of foundation. It does not play well with makeup: it instantly went to a muddy gray color when applied on top of other makeup. Sunk into my pores and lifted my other makeup off. Looks pretty if it's the ONLY thing you're wearing, which is what's keeping me from giving it 1 star.
Love it! Perfect blush 5

This is just perfect. I love everything about it from the color to the texture.

Maybe I'm the only one lol. I have warm light toned skin (borderline light-medium). I got the shade Zip. I swirl my fingertip in it for a few seconds to warm it up and then pat the product onto my cheeks. It looks great, but natural because the shade isn't too out there. This is the best application method I have tried. I would buy more shades.

Recently went on a cream blush kick and decided to try my first cream blushes from Lime Crime. Instead of picking up one shade to try like any other sane person would, I ended up purchasing Hotspot, Digital Peach, Firewall, and Flower.Ai. I have medium skin tone so Flower.AI is a fun, splash of color across my cheeks! Hotspot is such a good cherry red, Firewall is a lovely orange but Digital Peach is my all-around favorite one! You can build up the formula for a soft wash, water-color effect or more for an extreme Gouache painting look. Love them!!
Tried to like because it's fun 2

It is a hella fun concept in killer packaging but ultimately hard to manage. It's workable on a pre-powdered moist face but if you want to apply over a product like foundation, it will make the product underneath crack. I don't necessarily think it's the worst, could be waay better though.

I'm pretty much a diehard cream blush fan. When they are cream to powder it's always a must have for me. The blush seemed like it was dried out when I got so I exchanged it. The second one was the same way. I had to really push my fingers hard into the pan to get any pigment. Applying it to my face was equally as hard, tugged at my foundation and was an overall huge disappointment.
cream to powder? 3

I was so taken with the pretty color that I didn't realize it was a cream to powder. I must have gotten a dud, it was already dried out & I mistakenly thought it was a powder. I had a terrible time getting any color onto a brush. I should have tried to exchange it for a fresher still cream same shade item.

The color is very weak. Also, it's a creme-like blush, but kinda hard to move around. I expected a lot more for the price. The blush is tiny!

Cannot use blush brush with this product 1

I am a huge fan of Limecrime and have almost every product they make but this one is really disappointing. It does not pick up on a blush brush at all and so you have to use your fingers. Which I would be fine with, but it's very cakey when you do that. It says " subtle" color, I got Pixel and you can barely see it. The texture of it is my worst complaint. Definitely will not buy again, will likely return this and stick with regular powder blushes.
Buildable and beautiful 5

I was a little worried about how pigmented the shades seemed because I am very fair, but I love the brand and wanted to try cream blush so I got Hotspot, Flower.ai, and Hyperlink. These are definitely pigmented, but they are buildable and blendable. If you're fair like me, just go in a little at a time and build and blend to the intensity you like. I found the best application for me was either my fingers or a beauty blender over my foundation and concealer *before* applying powder. If you use it over powder, it will barely blend and might break up your foundation. I will definitely be buying more shades.

Very pretty peachy coral color! I like that you can build up color for more intensity. I plan on picking up more colors.

I have bought Petal and Flower, and I love them. They are easy to blend and build. Very pretty packaging

I knew I wanted these when I first saw them, but I was a little worried about how pigmented people were saying they were, because I am very fair and I don't want to look like a complete circus clown. I got Hotspot, Hyperlink, and Flower.ai. I will say, they are definitely pigmented and I think they could be built up for almost any skin tone. Using my fingers very lightly and blending well, I was able to make them all work, which was great. Hyperlink is my favorite because it's a gorgeous, warm peach-pink that I think would go with any make up look. If you are fair and don't want to look like you are wearing much blush at all, I'd stick to the light colors. My only complaint is that Hotspot and Flower.ai look the same on my cheeks when I build them to an intensity I'm comfortable with. My comfort level is 80's style blush, for reference. If your skin is darker and that allows you to build the colors more, I imagine that you could see a difference.
