Most Helpful Positive Review BEST CONDITIONER EVER! I have tried so many conditioners that I honestly could say that it's over 100! I used to do a lot of modeling and it was usually hair modeling. My hair is to the middle of my calves! It is very long and heavy. I only wash my hair 2 times a week, unless I get something in it or I get sweaty. When I used this shampoo I was literally shocked at how soft my hair felt, even after it dried it felt amazingly soft. My husband even noticed that it looked really shiny and felt really soft. I was literally touching my hair all the time. It also made my hair not tangle which was amazing because very few products work like that for me. I can't say enough about this conditioner. I also recommend the conditioning mask!
Most Helpful Critical Review Great smell, subpar performance I bought this conditioner after finding it on sale. It smells great and I saw good reviews online, so I was excited to try it out. However, I was really disappointed once I tried it out. It didn't move smoothly through my hair in the shower, like most conditioners do. It also didn't make my hair feel soft or moisturized at all... if anything, my hair almost seemed dried out. I will say that the scent is lovely -- and it lingers in your hair. But the conditioner itself definitely underperforms.

This product was just okay. I have 3b curls and was looking for something that would help to lock moisture. This didn't harm my hair but also didn't meet my needs. This would be perfect for someone who has enough moisture but is looking for shine and softness. This doesn't have a strong scent either so its perfect for those that are sensitive to smell.

I bought the clean it up shampoo, this conditioner, and the deep conditioner. They all work very well, make my hair smooth and soft. The only thing is, the smell is god awful. It smells like watered-down, perfume-y plastic, powdery and just gives me a headache. It's enough to make me shop for other vegan shampoo/conditioner before I finish these products.

I love the smell of this conditioner but it is literally just like liquid is falling out of the bottle. So hard to use cause as soon as it comes out it falls through my fingers

I just recently purchased this along with the shampoo to go along with it. I've been trying to find a good shampoo and conditioner for my hair since it's extremely damaged from color, dry, brittle, and frizzy. I've tried lots of different brands and this one is amazing! My hair feels so soft I can run my fingers through without getting caught in any tangles! It also smells amazing and leaves a tiny hint of a lasting smell kinda like a soft vanilla and it's not overpowering! I am definitely going to buy this product again.

I did not care for this all that much.
It was okay but not great. And interestingly enough upon my first use, my hair felt so soft I was shocked. However, that was it then it was like using any other regular conditioner. It did help with taming frizz a bit but not as well as my favorite conditioner. The scent was nice but it did not linger in the hair. Some people prefer that but if it smells nice I want that scent to last and for my hair to stay smelling fresh.
Overall it was just okay IMO and I wouldn't repurchase.

I literally cannot stop touching my hair after I use the soften up conditioner. I have fine, straight hair with highlights and live in a humid climate. My hair feels unbelievably soft. It's seriously the only conditioner I will ever buy again.

I really wanted to try this conditioner because after going through 6 1/2 weeks of radiation treatment my hair was very dry. It did not disappoint. It left my hair feeling almost normal. I am sure as I continue to use it my hair well continue to feel softer and I won't have to pull it into a pony tail to look good. This is a must try for anyone w dry hair!

I have repurchased this conditioner 3 times. It smells phenomenal. It's a vanilla scent but not sickenly sweet. And the scent lasts on my hair which I love. I wish they would make this scent into a perfume!!!
Now for the important stuff...this makes my hair so soft and hydrated. And if I use a flat iron or curling iron after I blow dry my hair it actually keeps my hair from getting frizzy...and I have naturally curly hair and live in a very humid climate. Its like the conditioner and hot tool seal my hair smooth and frizz free and it stays that way until my next wash.
I will say though if I'm wearing my natural curly hair I can't use this conditioner because it relaxes the curl too much.
So on curly days I use the Eva nyc lazy Jane air dry conditioner which is equally amazing for curls and waves.

Really loved the smell and the price. Tried it out a few times, but noticed more and more damage and dryness to my hair. It also became static/frizzy.
Also noticed I needed to wash my hair sooner that usual. As other reviewers described, it doesn't soften the hair at all. I have thick, blonde hair- this product didn't work well for me, unfortunately.

I have been looking for something with slip that would help eliminate tangles and I've finally found it!! I could tell immediately after I rinsed it out that this was different than anything else I've used. It reminds me a little of Back to Basics which I loved so much back in the day! I'm so happy I tried this, such a great price point and instantly made my hair silky and no knots out of the shower means less damage! Such a win!!

I bought this product because of the ingredients. My hair was insanely dry and tangled and I thought that the oils being really high up on the ingredient list meant it would provide the moisture I was looking for, but I was definitely wrong. My hair had the same texture before and after I applied it in the shower...normally I would expect to rinse my hair of conditioner and my hair feel instantly silky, but after I rinsed this stuff out it was almost more dry than it was before. In the product description, it says it gently detangles....if by gently they mean barely, then they're correct. I think this conditioner would work better on people that don't necessarily need an insane amount of moisture every day, but just need to maintain the moisture they already have. I just honestly didn't think this product lived up to the description for me.

I just love this conditioner when paired with "Clean It Up Shampoo". My longer graying locks are stronger, with very little breakage. They both smell wonderful too!

This is my ultimate favorite conditioner. I been purchasing this ever since almost two years ago. I was recommended to try this product out by to of the coworkers at Ulta. It is not heavy and it is super rich in hydration. It smells wonderful and my hair has never felt soft like it does when I use this product.

I got this for my little sisters because they are active a lot, especially swimming in the summer. Really good for tangles. I wish they had bigger sizes though because sometimes you need more than the recommended amount to get it all over the ends of your hair. It's wonderful though!'

The soften up is an outstanding conditioner! I like to use it and let it sit in my hair while I shave and let me tell you this it's incredible how my hair and scalp feel after using this with the clean it up shampoo!
