I have very long fine hair and it tingles extremely easy. This brush does an amazing job and makes my hair silky and smooth no static.

The bristles in the brush popped off on the first use (yes you can put it back on) just irritating !
Update to my previous review 1

I previously mentioned in my review that this brush hurt my scalp really badly and was too harsh on my ends (despite detangling with a different brush first). Well, my scalp got used to it and it stopped hurting, but my ends were always so frizzy and poofy after using this brush, it was terrible. And after using it for about a month, I noticed suddenly I have tons of unruly baby hairs all the way around my hair line; around my forehead, temples and nape of my neck. This made me realize this dang brush caused me some serious breakage!! I can't even wear my hair up anymore without looking like a dang fool. All around this thing is just bad, don't do it.
Best brush I have owned! 5

I have been searching for a brush that works with my hair and feels good and I have finally found one. It makes me want to brush my hair all day because it feels so good.
Great brush, great price 5

The brush feels great on my sensitive scalp. Tames frizzies. I don't notice any shedding or smell. This is a wonderful brush for the price.
Ouch 3

This is my first boar bristle brush. I purchased this specifically to help spread my natural oils throughout my hair to try to take better care of my dry, bleached ends. The problem with this brush is that the longer bristles hurt my scalp SO bad and I don't think the boar bristles are long enough to be effective in spreading the oils. I don't have a sensitive scalp at all but man this thing hurts and feels like it's doing more damage than good to my scalp. And when the brush gets down to my ends, it feels like it's being too harsh on my ends even though I detangled with my regular brush first. The brush gets stuck towards my ends, which doesn't happen with my regular brush. I would have given this 1 star because that's how much I dislike it, but I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt in case I'm using the brush wrong or if this isn't what the brush was intended for.
Love the feel of this brush 5

Forgot my brush while away and stopped in and bought this brush. I have med thick curly hair and I love how the bristles work on my hair!
I would repurchase 4

I would give this five stars if it wasn't for the shedding.
I am not new to using boar-nylon brushes. Some shedding is normal. This brush sheds a tad more than typical. Nothing too crazy or outstanding, but if it's something that'll drive you nuts; this is not the brush for you.
Yes, it's smelly when wet. It is boar after all, but the smell will not transfer to your own hair, and it dissipates from the brush over time. Nothing to fret over.
The removable cushion is genius! It is what motivated me to buy this brush.
Very lightweight in hand.
Gentle on my scalp. Like a soft massage.
Does not pull or snag my curly hair.
The price is very reasonable for the quality of this brush. I don't regret buying it.
*sidenote: this brush is leagues above the "behairful" brush that paid endorsers of the curly hair cult rave about; priced at an exorbitant amount of money.
