Most Helpful Positive Review A must have to control the FRIZZ!!!!!
I have very long, very thick, pretty curly hair and oh my gosh! this brush is awesome!!!!!! I like to keep my hair straight as it's just easier to deal with through out the day. I bought this brush hoping it would take a bit of time off of the 30-45 minutes it takes with my iron to get it straight. I'm telling you I have ALOT of hair. lol. I'm 46 years old so I also have a bunch of "wirey" gray hair. Straight from the shower to the blow dryer using my frizz/protectant spray, then to my new best friend, this BRUSH!!!!!! I was a bit weary but very pleasently suprised by the ease of use and the end results in 10 minutes!!!!! It straightend and tamed my hair and left it shiny and quite pretty if I do say so myself. Now, the really cool part. BED HEAD! The name couldn't have been more perfect! It litterally takes me 5 minutes to re-straighten my hair after waking up. Just make sure your hair is brushed really well (no tangles) before you start to use this product. I thought I'd give it a shot just to see if I could avoid my regular brush as well. Nope, that doesn't work. lol, OUCH!. I'm in love with my straightening brush and after a week of daily use, I don't think I ever want to live without it.
Most Helpful Critical Review Average Product
Product is average, meant for people with thin, straight hair. Each section has to be 1 cm thick in order for it to do its job and im going over it 4-5 times, which defeats the purpose of it being faster and more convenient. Ive used it twice and its already making weird noises.. I wanted to go the cheap route and try this brush, but its not worth it, spend the extra 20 bucks and get something a bit better.

Second day hair helper
Jacca from South Shore MA
This brush makes my hair slick, shiny but flat and makes it so I can't use barrettes or clips because they slide.
I have another brush I prefer for fresh hair. I do like this brush though for second day hair and doesn't flatten my hair quite as much as it does on freshly shampoo day hair. I am keeping it since I got it half price and I don't have to wash my hair every day right now, so its a plus for me.

Was excited to try. Disappointed, did not do as advertised
Rachel's Review from Gainesville, FL
I decided to give this a try when it was a 1/2 off beauty steal because it seemed like it would make it fast & easy to smooth out 2nd or 3rd day hair...well, I find it takes the same amount of time as my straightening iron, but doesn't do as good a job. It's also much bulkier than my iron, so wouldn't be better for travel either. I would say the ideal candidate for this product would be someone with thinner hair and minimal frizz that finds a traditional iron makes their hair too flat.
Clunky and not effective
Dreams of straight hair from Michigan
Very disappointed. It is very big and heavy, when you are using it the on/off switch is on the handle so it turns off when using it. The bristles do not go smoothly through your hair so it does not straighten well. In use you feel like you are hitting your head, it is clunky.

This is a wonderful heated brush. Straightens quickly.
Good for second and third day hair.

I have thin and somewhat fine hair, and this hot brush works well with dry shampoo for a second and third day style. It does pull some hair out when brushing but it smooths our bed head and pony tail creases well.
It was on sale

I have always had my eye on this guy & when it went on sale I just had to buy it. It's honestly pretty great. I don't spend as much time straightening my hair & its makes it easier too. Would buy again
Changed texture of hair
Tara from Chicago, IL
I'm not a huge fan of this straightening brush. It gets stuck halfway down hair and makes hair texture feel strange. Won't use this for everyday styling but more so for quickly getting a random bump out from sleeping, etc.
I really like this brush
Marika from Florida
I really like this brush. I have wavy and frizzy hair and this does the job when I want to straight my hair. I think it takes shorter time than the iron straightener.
AJMOM from Tampa
I have very fine hair and this tool left me with some frizz. I still gave it 3 stars due to the fact that it did straighten nicely.
I definitely would not buy again.
DeAnn from Dayton
I had high hopes after seeing reviews but it didn't work at all.
Did not work for me
Dee from Florida
I was hoping this would work so I wouldn't have to use my flat iron anymore. I have a very fine wavy hair, probably works better with thicker hair.
I LOVE this thing!

I absolutely LOVE this hair straightener. I have had a Chi for years but decided to try this one and it's so good! It straightens my hair without taking away the body, if that makes any sense. My hair is nice and smooth but not flat and limp.
bibb from Orlando
I feel like this brush pulls a lot of hair out bc the bristles are so hard. It does an ok just off touching up but not sure I'll use it often. Too hard on the head.
Glad I bought this

Awesome because I can style my hair quick

I've only used 3times since I just got it. Worked fast and very well. Much better than a hot curling brush. My hair dries naturally very wavey, not in a good way. This straightens and styles fast and easy, gets plenty hot! It is on heavy side....and you have to watch you do not squeeze the handle as you use it. I have already ACCIDENTLY turned it off twice.
I am very impressed with this product

I bought this hot brush on a whim and now I use it everyday. It not only gets hot enough for my thick hair it easily brushed through each section. My hair is soft and straight and lasts all day.
love this thing!

picked it up on sale and I'm so glad I did! It's so much easier to use than a traditional straightener (for me anyways, my hair is super long and my hand always cramps with my straightener). I will say that you have to get your hair nice and brushed out before use or its snag city, so just keep that in mind that that it's not a hairbrush and you're good!
you need this!!!
Susan from Florida
I was very skeptical but wanted to try something new so purchased this last week. To me, this works faster and better than my expensive flat iron and i am in love with it. Wish I had purchased it sooner. If you are putting your hair in a pony-tail and want to smooth it out it, takes seconds.... Try this...you will love it !!!

I have extremely curly hair that takes FOREVER to straighten. I was looking for something to shorten the process and after trying the dry bar mini brush this bed head brush blew it out of the water! Even my fiancé was amazed and he now uses it on his beard! It's super easy to use and even gets pretty close to the scalp.
Great results, budget price

My wavy, medium-textured hair loves hot brushes and they seem less damaging to me than flat irons. My style is a blowout two-or hree times a week at night (cause I get up early!), and a hot brush in the morning. I invested in the Drybar. Brush Crush and GHD Glide; both are excellent for me but they are not dual voltage, so this brush works well for travel (and daily too). It is not as smooth as my other brushes, there is a slight pull in my hair, but it does have a long cord, multiple heat setting and I like the Ionic Tourmaline Ceramic technology.
. Also, this brush comes with a three-year warranty, not bad!
Does Exactly What I Want
LongHairClub from Boston
Would you want to use this as your only straightening tool? No. But does it work exactly as it should? Yes. This is perfect for those second day hair mornings where you just want a quick touch up or to smooth out some kinks or frizz. I have very wavy, long hair that I usually won't wear natural but also don't want to put heat on every day. This is the perfect in between for that. Also, it is a lifesaver at the gym.
Laura from Elk Grove, CA
I have thick curly/wavy hair (depends on the day) and this amazing tool make my hair so soft, smooth and straight but will all the volume that you cannot typically get from a regular flat iron. Do not let the price fool you. It may be cheaper but there is NOTHING cheap about this product.
I've wanted one for a while
KatLA from Los Angeles
And was able to snag it for 50% off. I have wavy to curly hair and I'm 11 months into growing out my gray hair, so half is virgin hair and the rest is old dyed hair. I've had my hair in a pony all day, second day hair, so I had a crease in it. I had straightened with the dryer and a round brush yesterday, I do it about once a week, but no flat iron. I've never wanted stick straight hair, so if I use the iron it's to give it a smooth finish on the lowest heat I can use, usually around 300°. I plugged this in, set it at 310 and the pony creases were gone in a few passes. Like others said, come from under the hair, though when I was done I did give it a few passes on top just to get everything into place. Love this. Can't wait to see how it will work if I just rough dry my hair and go from there.
