Comments about Tarte The Slenderizer Bamboo Contouring Brush:
I bought this brush a few months ago. I use it to apply and blend bronzer. I use it with the NARS bronzing powder- Laguna.
This brush has smooth bristles and effortlessly blends my bronzer right into my skin/foundation. This is a great brush. The few loose bristles (hurt my sensitive skin) and high price is why I gave this brush a 4 out of 5 stars.

Comments about Tarte The Slenderizer Bamboo Contouring Brush:
feels great! ultra smooth, luxurious feeling. It's got an almost silky texture. I use it with the clay play contouring palette and I personally feel it works well, took some playing around with but I like it a lot. initially I was getting too much on the brush but it was easy to fix when I got used to using it. you can also the chiseled end to use sides for sweeps across the cheeks. it's very nice. this was my first expensive brush buy, but I'm pleased!

I believe this would be better for liquid foundation, I bought it for the clay foundation. Doesn't blend smoothly.

Blends makeup really well. Make sure you clean it every other week.. makeup does stay in brush even if it doesn't look like it but you should always clean your brushes no matter what to avoid bacteria.

Do you have questions about this product?

Q:
When using pressed powder as a contour, should I dab it on my face with fingers and then blend it out, or stroke the brush a couple times on the powder and put that on my face. Does this brush work for blush? Does this brush work for highlighter? Does this brush work for nose contour? How close to my mouth should I maker the strokes/dabs of contour? Please answer my questions one at a time, thoroughly and slowly.1 answer
A:
This is a contouring brush and works best for contouring. All applications depend on the look wanted and the preference of the person.Q:
How does this compare to Tarte's double ended foundation brush? From the rainforest of the sea collection?1 answer
A:
This brush is best for contouring since it has a domed end with compact bristles, ideal for tracing contouring shades along the angles of the face. The opposite angled end then blends the pigment seamlessly into skin for a contoured effect. The water foundation brush features fluffier bristles ideal for buffing on all over coverage. It is also doubled-ended and features a smaller blending side to buff liquid foundation formulas along smaller areas of the face, such as around the nose.Q:
So I can use this brush to dip in a cream contour pallet and blend on my face? Or would I have to use a different brush to dip it in the pallet?1 answer
A:
This brush could work great for that, since it's for cream contouring formulas. We recommend dipping the domed side into the palette and the buffing it directly onto the face. You can then blend over any harsh lines using the angled side of the brush.Q:
could i use one of the sides for liquid foundation? which side?1 answer
A:
Thanks for reaching out, Brooke! Both sides of this brush were designed for blending the sculptor contouring face slenderizer; however, they also work great for applying other liquid or cream formulas like your favorite foundation or concealer.Q:
What is each side used for?1 answer
A:
The denser, domed side of the double-ended brush seamlessly buffs the perfect contour. The fluffy, angled side can blend away any harsh lines for a flawlessly finished look.Q:
What is the length of this brush, please? If possible, please compare this brush with the Urban Decay double-ended brush?1 answer
A:
This brush's length is approximately 8.35". UD Naked Flushed Double Ended Brush (Item #: 2275044) measures about 6.7" in length. Both brushes feature dual ends and full, plush synthetic bristles, and both are ideal for application of blush, highlighter, and contour/bronzer.Q:
Will this product work for powder contouring and highlighting rather than liquid, for example with the Anastasia contouring kit?1 answer
A:
Tarte The Slenderizer Bamboo Contouring Brush can be used with liquid/cream formulas (such as Tarte The Sculptor Contouring Face Slenderizer) as well as with loose/pressed powder formulas!
