Most Helpful Positive Review For the driest of skin
DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE OILY!! This is only for the driest of driest skins. If you are oily get the green tea one that was designed for oily skin. This is the thickest, most hydrating, and long lasting moistrizer I have ever used. I personally have cracked, flaky, dehydrated skin, and this made me look dewy, and almost greasy for the ENTIRE DAY, but I kinda love it. I'm talking 12 hours without makeup. The smallest amount goes such a long way. I have used it as a mask like they recommend, and it really improves my skin. It smells great and works wonders. If you have anything other than dry skin you may not li,ple this, but personally I love it. The consistancy is like actual butter you but in tub at the grocery store, but overall so inexpensive for what it does and the amount you get. If you don't want makeup looking dry and flaky, I would def reccomend this.
Most Helpful Critical Review So disappointing
I've been using Loreal Hydra Genius cream for extra dry skin, but I run out so. quickly and it's expensive, so I decided to try this.
I'm crazy for dewy, hyaluronic acid moisturizing creams since I have super dry skin, but I thought this looked decent so I wanted to try it.
Firstly, it smells wonderful. It has a very mild rose scent, which I love.
When applied, it looks pretty dry and almost blurs your pores like a primer. It actually made my skin look like it did after using Smashbox Photofinish Primer(which looks amazing, but doesn't work well with my skin type).
The description states: "...fast-absorbing, lightweight face moisturizer that intensely restores skin softness and suppleness. Skin appears deeply hydrated with fine, dry lines reduced. " It is extremely fast drying, so much so that I don't feel like I have moisturizer on my face as it feels pretty dry. However, after a few minutes it does seem to be moisturizing well. I would maybe recommend this to someone with dry/normal skin, but not super dry skin like I have. I don't feel it's enough.
It does feel soft, fairly supple, and the blurring ability definitely should help fill in at least mild fine lines. It also feels kind of lightweight, but you can really feel what I assume is the beeswax.
Besides not being as intensely moisturizing as I need(more a problem with me,not the product), the biggest downside and what ultimately makes me want to immediately return this is that it kind of feels like it just sits on top of my skin and it pills. I can't imagine that this would ever work under makeup. I probably rubbed half of it off which is maybe why it actually feels lightweight lol.
Interesting cream,I'm curious to see how it works as a mask, but sadly I'm not looking for a mask,so I will be returning in hopes of finding a moisturizer that will work better for me and not pill.
Unfortunately due to the pilling,I really can't recommend this. If it weren't for that, I would recommend it for normal/dry skin
Reviewed by 474 customers Shea! So healing and repairing!

I love this cream! I've always had great results using shea butter or rose water products on my skin; finding a product with a combination of both is SUPERFANTASTIC! I have very normal skin and can use this cream whenever I want to, morning or night. It's also a great option for hand repair during colder, drier weather. Since Shea butter is the 3rd ingredient, you can see the hydrating effects right away and a little goes a long way. I noticed some comments regarding the thickness of the product, but it's because it's made with a large quantity of shea butter. Shea butter always needs to be warmed up a bit before it is applied to the skin. If you dip out a small amount, warm it up in the palms of your hands and then apply...voila- not thick and goes on light as air. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Thanks for making such a wonderful product!
Yes A 3 in 1

Great as a face wash, moisturizer, and masque! You can use this all year round. The only thing if where you live is seasonal the order of the 3 in 1 will change. It is like a facial skincare for men advertised for women.

I use this everyday in the morning and night after I wash my face and it feels amazing on my skin
PinkZory from Lathrop
Fragrance is intense, heavy consistency and doesn't absorbing fast into skin. If Sensitive skin then I don't recommend. But, if you don't mind the fragrance and heavy cream feel then Give it a try, it's not a horrible lotion for dry skin but, the fragrance kills it for me.

comes in a great size, really good as a moisturizer or a mask. really easy to over do it though so go light handed. absorbed into the skin really well and smells amazing
Lindy lou from Pennsylvania
You recommended this as an alternative to the sleeping cream you discontinued. They are nothing alike. This is very thick and makes my face sticky. The sleeping cream was wonderful and made my face so soft. No comparison. So disappointed. I won't even put this on my legs.

I usually don't buy Garnier products anymore because none of it worked all that well on my hair. But I'm currently obsessed with anything rose and was willing to give this a try in combination with the milk cleanser and face mist. Surprised at how well I liked it! Like someone else said, you don't need to lay on a lot since it's so thick (reminds me of the Nivea creme in the blue jar). It's a huge jar and will last you a while, so the price is reasonable too. I know everyone's skin reacts differently, but I personally liked how soft it made my skin. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because I have enjoyed other moisturizers far better, but this is a nice alternative when you can't afford the high-end products.
This is a no go for sensitive skin
Ci from East Coast
I have extremely sensitive skin, I've tried a dozen moisturizers by this point and only a few have worked. This is not one of them. I don't break out unless I'm having an adverse effect from a product, maybe a small blemish here or there but nothing serious. I used this two nights in a row and each morning I woke up with deep painful large pimples along my nose. I read a lot of reviews and had high hopes for this product but it just didn't work for me.
Sarah from Florida
Very thick and greasy, it pills like crazy, and it instead of roses it smells like chemicals. Would not buy again
Too thick and greasy

For those on a budget, this may be a great option to try.
Love this product
Jenny from Worcester,Ma
I have always had very sensitive dry skin, I also live on the East coast so winters here are super harsh on my skin.. I've always had a problem finding the right product"s" for my skin. Recently I've been more into the ingredients and I started washing my face with a light cleanser "cetaphil" and started moisturizing morning afternoon and night, even if I thought my skin did not need to be moisturized, I still did. And when I say my skin did a complete 180 within 1 week! I had a lot of problem areas containing tiny black/white heads near my chin/ bottom lip area and right under my nostrils and right in the center of my chin. Those have disappeared by 75% I also use this ask a mask like it recommends once a week and it makes my skin feels to scrumptious! 🥰 really love this product for what it does to my skin and my bank account!!

Love it. Price is right. Not oily. Great for people with sensitive skin. You can also use it as a make up remover.

If you have oily skin, stay away. This is really heavy and will clog your pores with no benefits to your skin
Its the first time I am using this product it is awesome

I have dry skin and live in the desert; not a good combination. At night I use a hydrating serum, moisturizer and then vacillate between several sleeping masks. I received a foil sample of this and decided to give it a shot, even though I wasn't expecting much. I was wrong. For dry or dehydrated skin this is amazing. It has almost no smell and is luxuriously thick, it does soak in well though. If you try this and it doesn't fully soak in it may just be too emollient for your skin type.
A bit thick and no fragrance!
VixenInk from Connecticut
My first thought upon opening the container was... how does a product with a big rose on the front advertised as "made with rosewater" and no hint of "unscented" anywhere to be seen, smell slightly musty? I've made my own lotions and I recognize the scent as pure shea butter. I look at the ingredients and confirm that, yes, fragrance is a listed ingredient but I smell no evidence of it. Honestly, that part alone really threw me. I'm not really interested in smelling like playdough and I'm a bit nervous about how long it may have been sitting on a shelf in storage before making it to the store.
I did give it a try anyway and found it to be very, very thick. I was expecting a cream, not a paste. It goes on like diaper rash cream and while it does soak in a bit, it leaves a film. Definitely not a fan and will be replacing with another product from another company as soon as I can afford to do so. It does moisturize and it's better than nothing which is why I gave it 2 stars but I was expecting a more polished product from Garnier given how much I like their hair products.
Don't Do It
Kat from Arctic Tundra
It's heavy and super greasy and BARELY hydrates. You'd have better results if you rubbed a stick of butter on your face.
A Bit Heavy for Oily, Acne-Prone Skin
beautyenthusiast from Wisconsin
First off, I love that this smells delicious without using yucky synthetic ingredients. This moisturizer is super rich and creamy, so a little goes a long way. I specifically bought this because it is silicone-free and has glycerin and shea butter in its top three ingredients. This moisturizer is great at hydrating and really softened and smoothed my skin. I noticed that my skin cleared up nicely. My only complaint is that it is a little bit heavy, but that's my fault for choosing a product that has a ton of shea butter in it. For me personally, it's beautiful for the super dry Wisconsin winter months and is lovely as a face mask. If you have normal to dry skin, this is a great year-round moisturizer. If you have oilier skin, it's still wonderful, just be aware that it's really easy to use too much. Literally a pea size dot is all you need for your entire face.
So far so good...

I am really liking this product so far. I tend to have dry sensitive skin in the colder months. This product has hydrated my skin well and has not caused any irritation.
From desert dry to dewy glow!
RoxanneP from Plano, TX
My skin was practically flaking off my face due to the winter weather coming in, indoor heaters being turned on, And my own stupidity of not drinking enough water. Desperately, I looked for something that would restore my facial balance. after cruising the isles at the store, I took a chance on this and I have been joyfully pleased with the results. There was an immediate change in my skin. Moist, flakes gone, and glowing again. I have now been using for a week and my skin just keeps getting better and better. Plus, it is a day cream, night cream, and a mask!!!! Customer for life!
Does it's job but too greasy
kjenkins from Tampa, Florida
I have acne-prone, combination to oily skin and used this as an everyday moisturizer. While it was very moisturizing and soothed my often red skin, I find this moisturizer to leave a very greasy feel even after hours in which I've applied it. It smells wonderful and does its job, but I would recommend this for drier, and more sensitive skin types.
Great face cream!
Christy from Pickett, WI
A little goes a long way. I have not tried it as a mask yet, but love it as a luxurious face cream. I love the 96% natural ingredients and the light rose scent.I am a bit afraid this might be discontinuing because I am not seeing it many places anymore. : (
Great overnight mask
Lana from Ann Arbor
This product owns up to it's claims! My skin has been really dry lately so I picked this up on the whim and it has been great for my skin! I do find the product to be a little on the thicker side so I apply it as an overnight mask 15-30 minutes before I go to bed (so it absorbs and sinks into my skin
by the time I'm asleep) and wash it off in the morning with a light face wash. Most days I don't even have to apply my regular moisturizer because my face feels so smooth and bright. Definitely worth the money!
Rosewaterforever from Lincoln Ne
I love this product I live in the Midwest so the winter is brutal on my skin. I went from using this only at night to two times a day and it has made a difference. Very thick but breathable on my skin and I don't feel dry when I wake up
The best face moisturizer I have found so far!

Helps with my dry skin! I put it on twice a day!
