Most Helpful Positive Review This is the best product for your skin out there! I am very snobby when it comes to my skin health especially when it's my face. The first time I tried this product, it felt gritty and awkward. But after 1 week, I realized my regular face cream moisturizer wasn't keeping my skin hydrated at all! That gritty feeling was my dry skin!
After two weeks of using this product, my skin felt softer and smoother.
Three weeks, my skin was less red and had fewer bumps from the apparent harshness of my last cream.
A full month later, my facial skin was completely transformed! I started to realize that I had bumps on my skin because of the harsh abrasiveness of my regular skin cream! I had no idea how much damage I was doing to my skin, and by using this rose gel, my skin was near perfection.
I have combination skin, and I have less oil on my T-zone, and I'm beyond moisturized on my cheeks and jawlines! My skin feels completelu even and hydrated. I can't stop touching my skin! it's so soft, silky, and smooth. I feel at least 10 years younger.
This product is a must for any beauty routine. I'm now in my second month of using this product, and I can't believe I ever lived without it! Garnier, I am an influencer on several social media outlets. I will promote the heck out of this product if you want to connect!

Most Helpful Critical Review Mostly Different Kinds of Alcohols I wanted to get an inexpensive moisturizer, and I love gel moisturizer and was looking for something lighter than my favorite gel moisturizer (Elizavecca Moisture Hyaluronic Acid Memory Cream). This purchase was unfortunately a dud. It drys out my skin, making it flaky, but also manages to make my skin super greasy all over. It smells strongly of alcohol, and very much like hair product instead of moisturizer. Hard pass.

I been using this for about 2 years now & I will not change it. Most moisturizer make me brake out. I do feel my skin absorbed it fast. I don't understand why people say it leaves a residue or takes long to observe.. it leaves my face feeling so soft kind of like a smoothing primer.

I have normal to dry, acne prone, aging skin. I prefer a richer cream in my skin care routine during colder, dryer weather, but substitute a lighter gel formula during warmer months. This product has been such a perfect fit for that purpose this summer.
Although I can be averse to fragrances, I find this to have a subtle, pleasant, soothing scent that I enjoy. It leaves me with a fresh sort of glow to my skin (without being overly greasy) that I really appreciate. My skin looks nice if I skip makeup, but the product performs nicely under makeup, too.
This has been a great find for me. Such a great product at a great price point!

Wanted this to be THE moisturizer for me, but I have to agree with others saying it tends to sit on top of skin and leave an odd, sticky residue. Thought it was just my weird face, but I left some on my hands before bed, and woke up with the residue there in the morning too. Also, while it does smell good, it's not a "real rose" smell. As someone who absolutely loves the smell of roses, I want the real deal. :P While pricier, I personally think you're better off with Mamonde's Gel Cream than this, however, I can see how it works great for others!

I have oily/dehydrated skin and like to go for gel moisturizers in the morning. The scent and texture are really nice, but it sat on my skin a long time before fully absorbing. I'm also not sure why Garnier feels the need to formulate all their gel moisturizers with alcohol, I feel like they dry out my skin more than hydrate it.

I really wanted to like this product. I had seen amazing reviews and thought it would work well for me. I have combo skin with an oily t zone but overall I have always had clear skin, just needed a new lightweight moisturizer. As soon as I started using this product I started breaking out on my chin and forehead. The formula is also a lot thicker than I expected. I stopped using the product and my face cleared up. I tried It again, and they were back. This is the only product I changed during that time. If you have oily or combo skin just be wary when trying.

I was pleasantly surprised with this product. I have used a different, less expensive Garnier moisturizer that worked OK but didn't change my skin much. I have used the rose cleanser as well with good results. This moisturizer has worked well with my skin. I put it on before bed, and I wake up with baby soft skin on my face. It did not cause my skin to develop acne at all.

I'm a teenager with skin that honestly makes me want to to cry in a corner. I have combination skin so it's really hard to find a moisturizer that hydrates without making me feel oily. I've tried several moisturizers, some from Aveeno and Neutrogena but the Garnier rose water moisture gel is by far my favorite. I use it in the morning and night, and I already see and feel tremendous results such as the texture of my skin feeling smoother and the moisturizer gives me a natural glow daily. Highly recommend this product, I am extremely satisfied with everything about this product and will be continue using it.

Tempted by the promise of a light, non-greasy facial moisturizer. This is way too heavy on the glycerine or something. It sits right on top of your skin and never really absorbs. Makeup (I use very little base, just some concealer) slips right off and complexion looks wet (not dewy or anything flattering) much of the day long. Got a tiny bit in my eye when I rubbed it and it was mildly irritating for hours. I have used thie once and threw away the box. I wonder if Ulta would refund??? Regrettable purchase.

Loved the gel like consistency and the smell however it never really absorbed into my face. It left a sticky film that I couldn't deal with and had to wash off. Too bad because I wanted to like it.

The Garnier SkinActive Water Rose 24H Moisture Gel works very well. It keeps my skin hydrated and feeling great without feeling heavy - which I love. I use it once a day in the morning, and it lasts all day. It has a light fragrance that is also great. Awesome product.

I tried the Garnier SkinActive Wafer Rose 24 hour Moisture Gel and I wasn't that impressed. It was slick and left, what almost felt like a film on my skin which my skin then absorbed. It did moisturize but I prefer the consistency of lotion.

So, I normally have super dry skin, but lately my skin has been a mix of combination, & the reviews on this were really good, so I decided to give it a try. My skin has never been this soft! It smells so good, and doesn't leave your skin oily. It gets a little sticky at first but it dries down so nicely. I use it in the morning after washing my face & at night before bed. I decided to give it about a week before posting a review & I absolutely am obsessed. One of the best moisturizers I've tried!
