This is a beautiful foundation. It is a solid medium coverage for me, but with a thin second layer over my redness, it will cover. It is a soft matte finish, not dry looking at all, it doesn't enhance my huge pores, and wears just as well as my more expensive foundations. I'm trying to finish a foundation I have that has a pump that I think will fit this bottle perfectly and then I'll be an incredibly happy camper! This may be new drugstore foundation Holy Grail! It's tied right now with the Catrice one. I don't think it wears quite as long as the Catrice but this is a great daily go to since it's hard to find the Catrice in my shade.
I hate this foundation. I used it with several types of primers and it broke up on top of most of them. I can prep my skin all I want and have the plumpest, glowiest skin moment of all time, yet this stuff sucks up any moisture and good oil out of my skin as soon as I dab it on my face.
It's the kind of makeup that I put on and I just want to cry out of frustration and just wash my face and start over as soon as I get a close up view. Also it's not buildable, just cake-able on me. There's no pump and this stuff isn't necessarily thick but it is slower moving so you have to work a little for it to come out.

I first used this with an oil free moisturizer first and set it with a loose powder and my skin was very dry all day. The next day I used it with a regular moisturizer and a loose powder and my face was still dry all day. I will be returning it.

The shade is okay, not perfect, but I always have trouble color-matching. The texture is tacky and isn't a foundation you can spread with your fingers unless they're wet. (I like to just spread on like a BB cream). However, that makes the foundation more matte and buildable. I also mixed this with the remnants of a Neutrogena (Skin-clearing) foundation I have that's more liquidy. I dotted them both on, wet a sponge and dabbed them. I liked the results- not super matte but more coverage than the Neutrogena gives me and a better shade match than the Almay alone. The first time I used it, I thought it had a strange scent, but I didn't notice it the next day so either I imagined it or got accustomed.

This foundation is terrible. I have combination skin with an oily T zone by the end of the day, matte foundations usually work perfect at controlling this, but not this one. I've tried it with and without primers and setting sprays, nothing helps. You have to use tons of product to get decent coverage then within the hour it breaks up and slides everywhere. I will say it didn't break me out, but that's the one and only perk. Will not use again!

So I have and oily t zone and use all matte products in addition to baking with powder. I don't know what about this foundation makes it slide all over, but it does no matter wha primer or setting spray I try! I get oily FAST as compared to some other foundations I've used (even with all the same products underneath). Coverage is okay. I will say at first I was SO impressed because the first time I put it on my skin looked AMAZING— like seriously you couldn't see my pores at all, it was a shock! But that lasted for maybe 20 minutes... also the glass bottle with no pump is definitely a fail

I had high hopes for this foundation. I typically only buy high-end foundations due to my sensitive, acne-prone skin, but I thought Almay would be the safest drugstore foundation to buy as the brand seems relatively clean. The foundation looked fine throughout the day, nothing special, but as soon as I removed it at the end of the day I had tiny bumps all along my cheeks. It's been about a year and the scarring is still clearing up. Not sure what ingredients are in this, but I'm certainly afraid to try anything else! Note: I did patch test, but it only irritated specific parts of my face. Super weird.

I love this foundation. it's perfect.. not too matte to where it looks dry and cakey but not too dewy where my oils come through and i look too oily. the only thing is that i'm having trouble finding my shade. i have fair skin with yellow undertone. which shade is best??? i currently have 160 but the undertone isn't right.. it's too cool for me :(

I love this foundation. I have been searching for a long time for an affordable brand that does everything for me a high end brand would do. Goes on easy, blends very nice and last all day! Does not feel heavy at all, so it truly is a comfort matte. I would prefer it to be a tad bit more matte because I have oily skin and I still get a small shine by the end of the day. However, I will continue to buy.

I use this foundation with a silicone based primer and set it before adding concealer and it lasts all day!

Pleasantly surprised by this product. Love how natural this product looks and my skin has a matte finish. Feels light on the skin. Will continue to use and buy again.

I wear a fair shade, and haven't noticed any oxidation issues. The foundation goes on well with a sponge and has a natural-matte finish. I use a finishing powder and a setting spray on top of it, and it has pretty good staying power. Im very oily and typically touch up with powder around 12 or 1, and that does it for the day with this foundation. Honestly in love with it.

Wow feels like an expensive deipartment store foundation, but half the price. The color was very natural. Wish it had a pump. You don't need much. The salesperson at Ulta was helpful in matching me. My new fave. And money leftover yay!!

Love this foundation, but since it doesn't have a pump it gets messy and you waste a lot of it.

I bought this foundation on a whim, and I'm glad I did.
I have extremely pale skin, and usually the very palest cool tone shade that most cometic companies have are still too dark. I got the lightest shade (100 cool ivory) and it matched my skin tone perfectly! It stayed on all day and it my skin a natural, radiant look with light to medium coverage. It's also water based so using a damp cosmetic sponge makes it look flawless. Honestly can't say enough about this foundation, I love it!

Wasn't great. I use the Alamay powder foundation and it's fine but this is not.

This is my favorite foundation, it's the best one of all the ones I have, even better than my high end foundations, it's like a semi matte finish, with a natural glow, it doesn't transfer at all, medium coverage, I just love the way my skin looks and feels, my skin looks healthy, I'm super oily and I only have to blot once during my 8 hour shift. I really recommend this foundation, you won't regret it...

I have a hard time finding a foundation that matches my skin tone and works well with my skin (I have dry textured skin). This foundation stayed on my skin ALL day and still looked good. It didn't break up and stick to my really dry spots and covered my textured well. I will definitely be repurchasing when I run out of this.

I bought this foundation like a month ago and have used it quite often. It lasts and wears well. Beautiful finish. Natural skin like finish.

This foundation lasts all day and doesn't transfer under my mask too much at work. It's pretty full coverage, just make sure you keep a light hand with it. A little goes a long way and if you apply too much it gets cakey.
I dot it all over one side and quickly blend with a damp velvet sponge and then do the other. It sets fast. I do not use a setting powder. I feel like it's similar to the lancome foundation except fuller coverage and no transfer.
Also, it doesn't make me break out.

I give this product an overral 10/10! It works great.

Usually I'm not an Almay fan. Picked this up on a whim. I'm surprised how much I like it. I would say light-buildable medium coverage. It truly does blur pores and makes you look airbrushed. Color stays true. And the staying power is really impressive. I wore it to my mother's funeral, I cried my eyes out and tissued all day long, I had zero tear streaks down my face. I keep reaching for it. Works well with brush, sponge, and fingers.
Tloosearrow from California
Typical drugstore matte foundation. It made my skin oily, but it did feel light when it was applied.
Flareon29 from Ohio
This blends and sits on my skin a lot better than the TLC Almay foundation. This one also seems to have more coverage. Like TLC, it does not transfer. At all. Color was nice, I bought Neutral Buff and is very similar to UD Stay Naked in 20 NN. I'm very pleased with this. I'll take a better formula over having a pump any day.
