I love this foundation! Its so skinlike on me and its the correct shade, its really hard for me to find a neutral light/fair shade thats cheap. It doesnt smell bad and blends really with with concealer. I moisturize prior and its amazing! Lasts all day while im working until I take it off :)

Comments about Neutrogena Shine Control Makeup SPF 20:

I don't hate this foundation, but I don't love it either. The lightest shade worked well on me, and I do like how it applies with a brush. However, I have oily/combo skin, and this stuff does not last. I get oily within an hour, and the coverage is poor. I only wear it when I know I'll be taking it off in an hour or so.

Comments about Neutrogena Shine Control Makeup SPF 20:

I've always had dry/oily/acne prone skin. Starting off my makeup routine, I use a matte primer. To apply this foundation, I use a beauty blender. The foundation goes on very, I wouldn't say greasy, but like wet. Never feels like it truly dries until I put translucent power over it. Even with matte finishing spray, I'm finding that I'm replying translucent powder 1hr later.

Comments about Neutrogena Shine Control Makeup SPF 20:

I bought this about a year ago when I didn't know much about makeup, and I didn't use it for long. It transferred easily, didn't control shine well at all, and immediately creased and slid over my face. It also has a sandy texture which is odd. BUT I pulled it out again curious. This time around, I primed. I applied with a damp sponge, and I set with a finishing powder and topped with a spray. That was the ticket. It blends well. The odd thing I find is that it has a dewier finish, rather than matte, even if it's shine control. It stayed on well for an average amount of time. It's a good foundation, but you can find better bottom line. IF YOU'RE OILY PASS THIS ONE UP.

I have a tendency to breakout and get really oily right through my t zone, so the shine control appealed to me plus I like that it has a SPF20 . I purchased Natural Ivory and it was a perfect color match. After applying I dusted a light translucent powder on top. Its been 3 and a half hours and I haven't needed to blot with a tissue or touch up. Very impressive staying power and great coverage, my new favorite makeup!

This product is complete junk. One of the worst makeup purchases i've ever made. Shine control yet it makes my skin even shinier and oilier than before I put my makeup on. The shine control powder sucks too. Don't waste your money!!

Comments about Neutrogena Shine Control Makeup SPF 20:

I use this every day, have to mix the two lightest colors to get my skin tone. To answer the lady's question about how to get to use all the product in the bottle, I bought extra long q-tips. I have extremely sensitive skin. This product does not break me out. I do use a light sheer power over it, but I have done that all my life. No biggie to me. I was extremely disappointed when my UTLA changed its display and no longer carries this product in store. VERY aggravated! I spent 6 months testing products before I found this one that didn't do a rashy number on my skin. They also stopped carrying my Almay lengthening mascara. The only mascara I have not had an eye swelling reaction to. So I have to start from scratch there. While I am giving the product 5 stars, UTLA gets a 1 on this round. Sorry to vent. Just very frustrated. I fully recommend both those products I talked about. They work awsome for me.
