Most Helpful Positive Review Fantastic foundation - bring back Ceylan! I have combination, acne prone skin. I previously wore All Day Luminous and found it to break down quickly in my oily spots and not look great as the day progressed. I was afraid that Sheer Glow would be too dewy, but it's incredible. The finish is satin. Slightly matte, but in a luminous way. I do not need to set down with powder - it fully dries down and I only need to lightly powder my t-zone. As far as coverage, I'd call it medium, but I am able to build it in areas that need it. I don't have a color match in the current lineup, and I wish they would bring back Ceylan! I see that I'm not the only one begging NARS to return the shade to the line. I'm fair/light with cool yellow undertones. Gobi is the correct undertone for me, but far too light. Deauville is too peachy. Salzburg looked pink on me, and Fiji and Vienna are too dark and peachy. Ceylan is perfect. In this photo, I'm wearing a mix of Gobi (25%) and Ceylan (75%). Fantastic formula, I highly recommend Sheer Glow. Please bring back the Ceylan shade!
Most Helpful Critical Review Good, but not hydrating enough This review is coming from a very dry and dehydrated skinned gal... so if you're happy with your skin's hydration, don't let this review affect you.
I've been hunting for a glowy hydrating foundation for years and years. Yet because of my super dry skin even the most dewy foundations look duller and somewhat semi matte on me. This Nars sheer glow unfortunately doesn't look glowy on me as I'd hoped, it looks somewhat matte. I have the driest Tzone also, so it emphasized all those patches... It also sinks in my smile lines... Another con I found is it takes quite a lot of product for one application, so I went through half a bottle pretty quickly.
I used it on my girl friend who has normal skin, and it looks wonderful on her. Youthful, dewy, smooth... It's such a great product if you don't have the driest skin like mine.
So all in all, my personal stance on this Nars sheer glow foundation is it doesn't really work for me. If you suffer from very very dry skin like I do, you may want to look for another foundation.

I tried this out randomly with the concealer and this is so light and easy to use. It's amazing for a light natural vibe and I can't wait to continue to use it for daily wear.

Really liked the foundation very much though i have oily skin. Only need to apply mattifying primer and loose powder. And it will be all set. The only problem is the foundation is a bit too pricy.

The product is great. My only issue is the packaging. Because it is in a glass bottle, there is leftover product that coats the sides when getting close to the end of the bottle.

Although it says sheer it covers so well. It feels light weigh. Almost as if you had nothing on but still covers my acne scars. I bought the pump to go with it and 3 pumps covers my whole face and blends down my neck.

I have normal to dry skin. I love this foundation I apply just enough to cover and when I wanted more coverage just apply a little bit more, always get compliments when I wear this foundation! I highly recommend!

I did the color match online where it scanned my face and it was WAYYYYY too orange for me. I am pretty white but not extremely fair. I'm disappointed.

I got this foundation to replace my nars radiant long wear. The sheer glow has vitamin c which should help to give glowing skin over time. The finish of this foundation is more of a satin, which is fine by me. Today was the first day I wore the sheer glow and I feel like the shade Siberia is slightly different from the radiant long wear Siberia, but you really have to be looking closely to notice. The foundation wore well and looked even better after a couple hours. It's comfortable on the skin, but it did take a little more blending than usual. I have dry skin but I always go in heavy with skincare before makeup and I didn't have any issues with it clinging. I think it looks like my skin but better. It covers the spots I want covered.

I had some pretty prominent dark spots and this foundations layered perfectly to give me the exact coverage I desire. It's extremely light weight, it feels like I have nothing on. This will be my go-to foundation from now one. And the Ulta matching app found my exact match. Couldn't be more pleased!

I used the meet your match tool on the website and was extremely skeptical and expecting to have to return it. NOPE! The match was perfect and I am so happy I used it. Make sure to use good lighting when taking your picture. The foundation makes my skin look fresh and natural with a glow!

I personally love the Radiant Longwear and I have the Matte foundations in my kit. I needed something a little more versatile in my collection for my clients with dry skin or clients who don't care for full coverage. This foundation is super buildable in a way where you don't have to keep layering on the product. It covers well while still looking incredibly natural. I use a fluffy brush to apply and it gives a beautiful airbrush effect. The only drawback is that it doesn't come with a pump.

I always get compliments when I wear this, just make sure your skin is hydrated and you really buff the product into the skin!! Solid medium coverage with a satin finish.

I'll be honest I wanted the other foundation in the shade I needed but they had this one in stock. Santa Fe is my shade... no denying it. But I just wish it was a little more full coverage

I tried it one time, liked the coverage and texture.
Because if the pandemic restrictions I wasn't able to try it in the store and the shade I got was too light. Also there was no pump, and I didn't want to get in there with a q-tip or finger.
FINALLY found a keeper that works with oily skin! 5

I've been wearing sheer glow foundation for almost a year now and I'm still obsessed! I wish I gave it a try earlier, but with problematic skin I didn't think this would work for my skin, but it does! It's buildable coverage that does not sink into my pores. I never thought I could wear a liquid foundation because of my oily skin and this foundation does not make my skin look oily even after a few hours. I love the coverage, I love how the shade (I wear Punjab) goes on my skin and blends perfectly! A little goes a long way so you're not using too much product. Thank you NARS!
