Most Helpful Positive Review Ambition - Beautiful color I liked the pigmentation on my pallette, Ambition. The glitter and matte are beautiful but the satin and metallic are hard to tell apart. The formula glides on easily with both my brushes and with my sponge applicator. The colors did smudge a bit and fade with wear but a good setting spray can prevent that. Overall a good product for the price.

Most Helpful Critical Review Cute and Trendy I love the idea behind this eyeshadow quad: creating a monochromatic look with different textures/dimension. It's on trend! However, this quad isn't really pigmented. I received the shade 180 Ambition to review. It's hard to build up the lighter shades. The glitter and metallic shades are better in pigmentation, you get a decent amount of color in one swipe. Also, make sure you use primer because it will crease quickly on you. I appreciate how there are 15 shades to choose from, so you'll definitely find a shade that you like and the sleek, compact packaging makes it ideal for traveling and on the go! Overall, I think these are an amazing and affordable way to add the trendy monochromatic look into your makeup collection! Wanted a neutral color for eyeliner and this was it! Wish there was a bit of difference between the shades.

Love this shadow alot. Had bought this before at another dept store clearanced and when I saw all 3 of the colors on sale I had to get them. The shadow goes on and stays on. Just an all around great shadow!!!
little to no pigmentation 2
jenna from st louis
good idea, but no executed very well. eyeshadows are kinda dusty and require a lot of application to show up
Happily surprised. 5

I was happily surprised to find out that Almay eye makeup doesn't bother my eyes and is actually fun colors and a good price.
No applicator? 3
AMY47 from Alabama
After being quarantined, I treated myself to some new makeup. I love Almays eye products. The colors are rich and don't crease. I was surprised that not only was there no applicator, but no slot for me to put an applicator. I really don't like leaving my applicator in the open. It also means it is no good to go in a purse.
love it 5

This has become my favorite eyeshadow, it stays put all day you do not have to touch up throughout the day at all! It has a bit of sparkle to it which is so pretty. It is a bit hard to blend. The definite con is that is has no applicatopr or anywhere to put one inside the container so that is annoying but i put it inside my own.
Meh 3

Not what it looks like on the screen. SO much lighter IRL. I went with the purples, and there is hardly any color payout, lots of fallout, and application take while since you really have to pack it on to show. Save your money and get a better palette
Darker and smaller 4

It came alot darker and smaller than expected so always
check the oz but its very nice
Nice idea but... 3

I bought 2 of the lighter shades for a nude look, as I'm way too pale, but there's zero pigmentation in these. No matter how much work I put into it, I couldn't get them to show up. Back they went--sticking to prestige brands.
Not As Pictured 1

The color's are sooo much lighter here than in person. The matte mauve is closer to a cool-toned eggplant, for example. I was ready for it to be pretty off because, online shopping lol, but this was so far off from the colors I thought I was ordering.
Love! 5

I bought 3 of these 'squads' individualists, thrill seeker, and making a statement. The formula is awesome. you do have to work a little bit to get payoff with some of the colors but they are awesome as a whole.
Great bargain and petite for travel or a minimalist 5

Stick with one palette at a time for a nice contoured look that rivals more costly brands. I used Less is More. It's bright, and I can definitely distinguish between finishes; however it is still easy to blend!
No color payoff, not for darker skin tones. 1

Looks nice in packaging, but doesn't have utility.
If you are a darker skinned person, stay away from Almay.
No color payoff 1

Doesn't show up on the skin!
Very smooth application 5

I use this on my lid and browbone. I'm happy with the color. I was surprised by the smoothness of this shadow. Really nice application.

Takes several applications for color to show.
Looks great! 4

I like how this eye shadow is easy to put on and looks great. The color is subtle, ,but shows up. It has a slight sparkle to it which I love!

Love the concept and was very excited to try these when they first came out, but no pigmentation. I bought these for a quick look and had to work way to hard to make anything look decent. I waited too long to return these but they have been decluttered. I would love to see these reformulated and would try them again if they did.
Easy on my allergies! I would buy this again. 4

Bought this on a whim, I'm usually a brand buyer but thought the shades were pretty and it was only a few bucks. I bought it in Ambition and World is My Oyster. I'm fair, with brown hair and hazel eyes, I always gravitate to nude or taupe or light brown shades of eye makeup and lipgloss and thought this would work. I like the World is my Oyster palette way better, the Ambition shades are beautiful in the case but I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror at work while wearing it and thought I looked like I had serious shadows above both eyes. Won't be wearing that one again. The World is My Oyster shades are pretty and much better for me than Ambition, although it's very light. overall they're both fairly non descript and I wouldn't buy them again. They wear off easily and aren't very pigmented. I'll be sticking to Urban Decay (best single eye shadows ever) and Bare Minerals Glimpses (also very good, but a bit messy when applying). Both a a bit pricier but are well worth it, they look great and last ALL DAY.
LOVE this product! 5

This is a lovely product. I look natural but with some pop. Love it!
Not useable 1
SW1000 from US
I purchased the white quad. There is basically no pigment in any segment. It's very chalky and no color transfers onto the skin.
Finally some cool-toned quads! 5
Ave from USA
These tiny quads are super subtle and perfect for every day! And, they don't take up a ton of room in my makeup bag. I normally use an Ulta primer with these, and they last all day. What's so great is that one quad gives you a whole look, since the shades are all the same color family but in different finishes. Making a statement (purple) and the world is your oyster (cool taupe) are the best for me (fair skin, dark hair, cool undertones) and I use them all the time. Best eyeshadow purchase of 2018 for sure.
Love the color but turns out meh! 2
Sarah from Dallas, TX
I try and try to build a color but no payoffs. I bought 3 quads and should have returned them. I love the colors but they don't seem to apply well.
