Comments about Punky Colour Semi-Permanent Conditioning Hair Color:

Tried out Punky's Plum shade and was happy I did! I change my hair color up about once every 2 months but had never picked this one. For starters, it smelled like grape. I was amazed, never have I tried a pleasant smelling hair dye. Went on fine, washed out fine. Fingers stained from washing out my hair but not too badly. One downside is that the color looks slightly different on my hair. My hair was a blond-to-faded blue gradient; the blonde section turned out a much lighter color (which I expected) but not the color of the dye. It is far darker in the jar than on my hair, but I personally love the color anyway. I would recommend looking at how other people's hair turned out before choosing a color.

New favorite dye!

By Katie

Comments about Punky Colour Semi-Permanent Conditioning Hair Color:

I've been using semi permanent dye for ten years now. I've spent six dollars to sixty dollars and this one has become my new favorite. Not only does it smell like heaven but it blends so easily and is PIGMENTED. I put the smallest bit of dye into five times the amount of white conditioner and it came out way brighter than intended so keep that in mind. There was hardly any wash out and no staining literally anywhere. I absolutely love this and will never switch to another brand.

Comments about Punky Colour Semi-Permanent Conditioning Hair Color:

My daughter wanted a fun color on her ends for summer. She has dark blonde hair. She wanted a magenta & light pink ombré look with the light pink on the ends. For sure use a lightening kit if using the light pink color. Don't judge my photo! I've never colored hair before.

    I've had better...

Comments about Punky Colour Semi-Permanent Conditioning Hair Color:

I have used similar products, but this one just didn't cut it. I have blonde hair so I usually will use product similar to this to add a tint of color to my hair. I did not get any color from this product and I followed the instructions to a T. I would not recommend.

Comments about Punky Colour Semi-Permanent Conditioning Hair Color:

I bought Lagoon Blue and it did not last and is already fading. For the price of it I wouldn't ever recommend this. It was easy to apply, it's not time consuming, yes it takes a bit if you do it right but not longer than any other color. I have had it in for 4 days before I washed it and it has faded so bad. I had bleached hair before I even put this on, so I figured the color would look great, it did for the first few days. But, after the first wash I wasn't expecting this much fading of the color.

Comments about Punky Colour Semi-Permanent Conditioning Hair Color:

I have been using this product for about two years now (on and off) and it works great for me. It is easy to apply, kind of messy when you wash your hair but I like that that it does not damage my hair and fades out beautiful. IF YOU HAVE VERY DARK HAIR IT WONT WORK, if your hair is medium brown to blonde it will work!

It was really messy. Stained my bathtub to sink everything and hands when washing hair. It dosent take to dark hair and rubs onto everything.

Comments about Punky Colour Semi-Permanent Conditioning Hair Color:

I've been consistently using Punky hair color for over 10 years! I've tried almost every color (short of the pastel collection) and they have never let me down. I'm Asian with naturally very dark hair so I have to bleach in order to get the intensity I want- the nice thing about punky color is that as long as you get your hair to a dark blonde/very light brown stage it'll cover it. Again, depending on the intensity you want you'll want to go lighter. The plum is a true purple and I go back to it again and again.

Comments about Punky Colour Semi-Permanent Conditioning Hair Color:

I love the turquoise color! I have very dark brown hair and didn't have to lighten it all the way to very blonde to use. More of a dirty blonde or light brown is what I used it on. The color lasts and even when it fades you can still see the color. I get so many compliments! I've used other brands and it washes out after about a week but not this brand.
