Most Helpful Positive Review My favorite face wash I received this product as part of a gift set in their smaller size, and fell in love! First, let me start off with the only thing I'm not sold on: if you wear makeup that's usually tough to get off (like eye makeup) this may not do the job to get all your makeup off. You may need to use this along with some type of makeup remover. However, I feel this is fine to get off most foundation and other makeup other than hard-sticking eye makeup. (My reason for taking off a star)
I would recommend that you use this with some type of face sponge because a little goes a LONG LONG way when you do! Each time I wash my face I put a dot about the size of HALF a pea on my face sponge, and it's plenty to scrub my whole face for a few minutes, and I have to wash out my sponge afterwards for awhile to get it out completely!
The scent is light and fresh. I have very oily skin on my nose, and this stuff just clears away that oil and leaves behind smooth skin without drying out less oily areas. I'm hoping that this will help clear up my skin, but I haven't seen anything yet. I've been using it in the morning and evening for about 3 weeks, so we'll see.
Most Helpful Critical Review So drying but it smells so good, ugh!!! I am SO confused about this product!! I've switched to clean beauty & cruelty free brands. I love using organic, cruelty free products now!! My skin is clear, balanced & I never have to struggle with acne anymore. Unless I try a new product that does not agree with me. As I've started using more organic products, I have learned that not all organic ingredients are best to use on skin. Fragrant essential oils can cause acne and sensitization. So now I make sure that my products on have ingredients that cleanse my skin clean & hydrates! This cleanser only contains cleansing ingredients & non irritating ones. Which should be perfect. In yet every time I use it, my skin feels more & more dry & tight. I have combination skin. An oily T-zone & dry cheeks. This cleanser has caused dry patches on my face. It makes the skin around my eyes raw, sensitive, red and burn to the touch, after just 1 week of using this. I've read so many glowing reviews on this product. So.. I do not know if it just not working for me or if I chose the wrong time to use it, during winter. I've tried using heavy moisturizers with it & I use hydrating facial masks atleast 3-4 times a week. I was using the Cera Ve hydrating cleanser with hyaluronic acid for a year but their not cruelty free & also not organic. It was a really great cleanser but I refuse to give money to animal abusers! I have also tried the Youth To The People antioxidant cleanser & it was just as drying! Perhaps this & the superfood cleanser should only during the summer time in a less drier season. I have been trying to find a moisturizing, organic and cruelty free cleanser but it has been difficult. I think I have finally found 1 from Andalou Naturals. It's the Anti Aging Cleansing milk and I just ordered it so I cannot wait to try it!! I think If this or the superfood cleanser contained hyaluronic acid or sodium hyaluronate, they would be perfection!! I would suggest this cleanser but to stop immediately if your skin feels dry!
Reviewed by 970 customers Sea Foam Face Wash 1

I did not like this face wash. I have sensitive skin and I would not buy the Sea Foam Face Wash again. I normally use the Pacifica Crystal Youth face wash but the Ulta store by my house was out of stock. So I decided to try the Sea Foam Face Wash and it made me break out and the moisturizer I did not like either. So I'm going back to the Crystal Youth face wash and moisturizer.
My favorite cleanser 5
SunnyJ from North Texas
I'm so impressed with this cleanser. It leaves my skin feeling soft, moisturized, and clean. I did try another Pacifica cleanser but I'm coming back to this because of how it makes my skin feel.

I use this product ever morning. My face feels nice and clean and I love the smell, it's so refreshing to me. I follow up with a great moisturizer and I'm good to go!
One of my favorites!!! 5

Foams up nicely to remove dirt/makeup, but doesn't over dry your skin. I'm probably on my 50th bottle by now!
breakouts 2
Allie from Hillsboro OR
This product makes my skin break out especially around my chin, it almost looks like a rash. The one thing I liked was that it smelled nice, however it may be the fragrance that is breaking me out.

I never had acnes before but after using this product i have two acnes which really hurts and one of them have left a mark which is not even fading away.I stopped using it and recommend not to buy this product if you don't have any skin problems.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR SENSATIVE SKIN! 3
Nellie from Newark, NJ
I have normal to dry skin. After cleansing, my skin feels a bit tight and stripped. I didn't hate this product, but wouldn't repurchase. The product didn't completely remove my makeup, unlike the description. Definitely not suitable for all skin types. Pacifica products are packed with tons of fragrances and essential oils that may be irritating for sensitive skin. For my skin, it wasn't too bad and I didn't see any sensitivities. I love the brand's philosophy and would love to support them, but there's too much fragrance in everything.
I am surprised how much I like it 4

First of all, I have to say I have very oily skin and since wearing masks I have started having acne like never before. It's awful. I've been using Murad clarifying, which I like, but decided to try this when I got a freebie set. I actually really like it. It feels very gentle and leaves my skin soft. I feel like it's helping balance out my super oily skin, but it doesn't make it dry or tight. I really see a difference in the acne. Maybe it's something else in my lineup, but at the least this doesn't aggravate it. It doesn't completely remove my waterproof mascara, but I don't expect it to. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the scent, I dislike coconut. Any time you pick one dominant scent, you're going to alienate someone, & this one does it for me. That being said, it's not so strong that I can't tolerate it. I like the results so much that I will probably buy it when I run out of my freebie. It may not be so great for someone with dry skin though.
Love, love, love this cleanser! 5

I can't count how many times I have repurchased this product. I use it every night to take my makeup off and cleanse my skin. It has a slight natural coconut scent that is not overpowering and is gentle enough for my sensitive skin. Removes makeup, even my mascara, easily and without scrubbing. I don't even think about buying something else. Plus, I love the fact that it is a clean product.
Face is peeling 3
Ash from CA
My face definitely isn't sensitive and I normally don't have any issues with cleansers. However, in the last week my face has been feeling so dry and around my mouth and the sides of my nose have started peeling. At first I thought it was the makeup I was using or it could be the weather, just thought it was weird because I've never experienced this before. I've been moisturizing like crazy but I'm STILL peeling. It finally dawned on me that these problems started happening after I started using this cleanser. I've used the green tube cleanser( not sure the name) Pacifica sells and didn't have issues. Apparently others have had issues with this too based on the comments I've read. I don't think everyone deals with this issue, maybe certain skin types. I think maybe my skin just doesn't like an ingredient in it. Just be prepared when buying that this may happen to you.
Works great and has excellent ingredients 5
Melissa from Florida
I have used this for over a year. It cleans, removes makeup and leaves my skin soft and moisturized. I research all ingredients in all products I am putting on my face (the first few layers anyway! once I get to bronzer I don't care that much!) But as far as base layers or cleansers/moisturizers I research every single ingredient. There is nothing bad in this. Nothing that will harm me and nothing that will harm the environment. The ingredients are ones that actually benefit your skin. This is super affordable which is not easy to find with those kind of ingredients. I love this and will continue to use this.

This worked wonderfully for me the first 3 or 4 tubes I purchased. However I've just opened this new tube and I don't know if it's my skin aging (almost 50) or an ingredient change but this is now super drying-and I only use this at night as the second step after oil cleansing.
I finally found my cleanser! 5
Marisol B from Waxahachie, TX
I've been on the search for a cleanser that was gentle on my skin, removed makeup, and didn't break the bank. I'm so in love with this product! From the first moment I used it my skin felt soft and hydrated, whereas other (more expensive) cleansers left me feeling dry. I've started changing up my skincare routine using more affordable products like Pacifica and while there have been some misses this was definitely a hit for my oily acne prone skin! Ive been really impressed with this brand and will definitely buy this again!
I am on my 5th bottle 5

I wanted a cleanser that could remove all my makeup, but didn't have any cell turn over ingredients because its summer and I want to maintain my tan/faux tan. This cleanser is perfect for that. It might be a tiny bit on he drying side but I always moisturize after I shower so this was not an issue for me. The daily cleansers with cell turn over ingredients might have been making my skin to stripped as my skin has improved just using this to remove makeup.

This is both my son's and daughter's preferred cleanser. My son has now gotten his girlfriend hooked on it. Nice smell as well.
A must have! 5

Hello, I have used many products to include expensive ones from Dillards and found this to be one of the best products I have used. This removes all my make up and leaves my face feeling smooth and soft. I use it with my Clarisonic Aria. The price is great as well!! I also use it to clean my make up sponges. Give it a try!
It's okay, but I would not repurchase. 3

So here is the deal with this cleanser. It's okay at getting makeup off, but I didn't see a difference in my skin's radiance, the size of my pores, or my pimples. It also takes a little bit to foam up. I was washing it off, and THAT'S when it started to foam. It got into my nose and eyes, which stung SO BAD. The scent is nice, but quite strong and a little sickening, in my opinion. I don't recommend this cleanser. Sorry :(
Great cleanser & removes all makeup 5
SB from Greensboro, NC
I have combination oily skin. I've had trouble finding cleansers that clean all traces of make-up off of my skin. I use full coverage Foundation and this removes all traces of it. It also does not leave my skin feeling tight or dry. It feels clean smooth and soft. I'm very happy with this cleanser and will stick with it. I also love other Pacifica products and I'm so happy they do not contain toxic chemicals that most products do and they are cruelty-free which is a must.
my holy grail 5
emily from massachusetts
this is the only face wash i have ever repurchased. it doesn't strip my face of all moisture, but it does make my face feel a little tight. that can be fixed with a moisturizer though. i especially like that it takes off any makeup that's left after using my makeup wipes.
ruined my skin 1
bevs from silver spring, md
at first i really liked it because it was so stripping it made me feel like it was actually cleaning my skin, boy was i wrong! by the third day, i started experiencing a lot of peeling by my smile lines, i would have to moisturize every two hours because my skin would dry up and start peeling, i would exfoliate and the same problem would occur the next day. the peeling began to spread to my forehead on the fifth day of using it, and i try to use a product for a week before stopping to fully test it out, but i could only last six days. since my skin was peeling, after i'd use it, and go to moisturize, my skin would burn in the areas it was peeling. i feel like i could only use this product once a week or something, especially because it's summer time maybe if i was feeling extremely oily i'd use it once, but i wouldn't recommend for daily use. i would use it twice a day, morning and night as recommended and it didn't break me out, but induced skin peeling and made it hard to effectively moisturize.
Dried my skin 2

I love the fact that Pacifica is cruelty free and like some of their products. Unfortunately this one dried my skin. I have very sensitive, dry skin. This may work for someone with an oilier complexion.
My face broke out in an itchy rash and caused more acne t 1

I am on acne medication and this face wash caused me to break out despite that. My face is constantly itchy and red after using it.
I LOVE THIS! 5

It's very hard to find a gentle cleanser to use on my skin since I have rosacea. This is perfect! Very gentle and smells great. It's also relaxing and soothing.
I continue to buy this over and over again! 5

I can't believe I finally found a face wash that gently removes ALLL my makeup and yes honey I do wear a full face. Your eye makeup doesn't seem to be coming off with just one use?? Calm down and easily use a pea-size amount gently over your eyes and bam!! All gone. This 110% works soooo bomb I continue to buy it and recommend it to all my friends.
