I can't praise the brush cup enough. The sculpting brush is great for foundation, bronzer and contour. The setting brush is great to set the under eye or for highlight. The fan brush is study and full enough for highlight or powder. This set is great. Nice dense brushes for when I need it.

Comments about Real Techniques Sculpting Set:

RT brushes have been my fav for a while now. Decided to buy this set as I explore with more face makeup. The small brush is decent for a handful of uses. I LOVED the sculpting brush until I did a deep cleaning and noticed the hairs coming out of the brush. Ive only had this set for two weeks with moderate use and this was my first deep cleaning. Was very disappointed when the hairs kept coming out so easily as i was cleaning/drying. None of my other RT brushes have done that. The fan brush is meehhhh. It doesnt pick up a lot because the white bristles are thinner and less dense than the black bristles. Im considering trimming the longer white bristles just to make it more "dense" with the black bristles in hopes that itll pick up more of my highlight powder.

Comments about Real Techniques Sculpting Set:

The quality of the setting & sculpting brushes is pretty good. Soft and applies product evenly. That fan brush is a hot mess tho lol Only use it to sweep away any fallout. Not worth the regular price of $20 but the set was onsale. I really enjoy RT products.

Comments about Real Techniques Sculpting Set:

The fan brush isn't really the best tbh. It's not as flat as you'd like it to be if you want a thin brush and doesn't pick up ad much powder :( I think the only good thing about this set is the brush holder.

Comments about Real Techniques Sculpting Set:

This set works well. The bristles are really soft and they apply makeup well with no streaks. I didn't give them a full five stars because I'm not sure if they are better or as good as more expensive or other popular brands. It does seem like I have to keep gong back to the bronzer with the bigger fluffy so it doesn't pick up product that well. But it's not bad. Same with the angles brush. The smaller fluffy brush seems to be better in regards to that. It works really well for highlighting. Overall wasnt blown away by the brushes but they are pretty good. They're also durable, easy to clean, and last a long time.

                    A:

                    Hi Rachel,

Our Real Techniques brushes are made with synthetic, high-quality taklon brushes. Because we've chosen that specific material, they all work really well with liquids, creams, powders, mousses, etc.

The type of the brush head helps you determine which brush works best with which types of makeup. The brush heads that are "fluffier" tend to work better with loose powders. The brush heads that are dense and more compact work well with liquids, creams and mousses.

                    Thanks!

                    Hi Bre,

It definitely depends on the size of brushes you're looking to put in there, but about 5-6 average size brushes will fit. More, if they are smaller. Less, if they are bigger.

                    Thanks!

                    Hi Cherry Pie,

Yes you can definitely use baby shampoo. I also like to use a brush shampoo from our sister brand, EcoTools, found here: http://www.ulta.com/makeup-brush-cleansing-shampoo?productId=xlsImpprod13501085

While this is specifically formulated for brushes and sponges, it also is a gentler formula overall, so it won't irritate your skin. And it smells great!

                    thanks!
