    Comments about Matrix Scalpsync Conditioner:

There was not anything wrong with this product I just couldn't handle the smell. I realize it says mint on the bottle but I didn't realize just how *much* mint was in the smell. If you like mint, you'll love this conditioner! I am just not a mint person so I returned. Otherwise, it was very conditioning and gentle on my hair.

It's been a few years since I've even used a conditioner in my hair, but since I bought the Biolage ScalpSync dandruff shampoo, I decided to cave and get the coordinating conditioner. Wow! This conditioner has that menthol cooling sensation, and makes your scalp feel all tingly after you massage it in. It also smells really good, and leaves your hairy feeling silky clean and soft. It also doesn't seem to irritate my scalp like so many conditioners do. I'll be buying this again!

        NOT WORTH IT

        By Kay

        from FL

        Comments about Matrix Scalpsync Conditioner:

I started using this product as well with the dandruff shampoo, this product did absolutely nothing to improve dryness, frizz and dandruff. It didn't help me at all. I definitely don't recommend it.

          Comments about Matrix Scalpsync Conditioner:

I am so glad I tried this conditioner. I didn't think a conditioner would help dandruff, but THIS is the answer for my itchy, irritated, burning scalp! I used the Scalpsync antidandruff shampoo for about a year and that helped a little. But I still had pretty bad itching to the point of scratching until I had bleeding sores. I shampoo at least every 24 hours. But then I decided to try this conditioner. I am so glad I did! The two ingredients that I think are working for me are the menthol and peppermint extract. It cools! I also use cool water to wash and rinse my hair. I have been to two dermatologists, and the best they could do was have me use a hydrocortisone drop, which was pretty inconvenient and not that effective. I use this on my scalp. Since I also have frizz, I add another conditioner on the ends and that seems to do the trick.

Just used this for the first time and OMG! I had so many flakey scabs on my scalp that would NOT go away with Head and Shoulders or any regular shampoo. Even when I would get out of the shower and brush my hair, there would be scabs coming off. After I used this for the first time, NO scabs coming off after my shower and I ran my fingers along my scalp and most of the scabs are GONE. I'm sure with a few more uses my scalp will be back to health. After one use, the product has paid for itself.

                        A:

Sulfates are typically found in shampoos and are surfactants which function as foaming agents and emulsifiers. The term "sulfate" refers to the sulfate portion of the molecule. This portion of the molecule is associated with greater cleaning and foaming effects.
