This stuff completely changed my hair. After using for a month or two, when I went and saw my stylist again, she was amazed. She was asking me what I have been doing. And I couldn't even think (constantly trying new products that never work) except this was an exception! I LOVE THIS STUFF it smells AMAZING and heals your hair. I have blonde hair from highlighting and I have moderate damage. This stuff is great. Seriously. You won't be disappointed!!!
I'm writing this review for people like me who are very in between about purchasing this shampoo. I have been using Drybar hair products for years and have loved all of them. When I was considering switching shampoo/conditioner, I was very tempted to try out the Drybar collection. When I originally saw how pricy the shampoo and conditioner were, I was hesitant to buy it but figured that if something costs a lot of money, it must be really worth it. Long story short, I bought both the shampoo and conditioner. After using them three times, I noticed that with each use my hair began feeling drier and drier and I began accumulating a lot of static in my hair. I never had an issue with static before so I was upset to see how unkept my hair looked. By the way, I have long wavy/straight hair that comes down to my lower back. I do not color my hair and I only apply heat to my hair after I wash it every other day. This review is in no way to bash Drybar or their products. I am a huge fan and always will be. I just wanted to give an honest review because it is disappointing when you pay so much money for something that doesn't turn out quite the way you expected.

I have thin fine hair - it made my hair feel like straw - and was not helpful with tangles. I returned it because for the price it just didn't work for my hair type.

i really like this shampoo (and the conditioner) but i'm not sure if it's doing anything. I wash my hair 2 times a week (more frequently if i'm working out or it feels gross) and i love the way this stuff smells. my hair feels softer and less tangley, i'm definitely going to keep using it and will probably repurchase if i can catch a good coupon/extra points.

I did not like this product and will not recommend it to anyone.

Just okay. It didn't make my hair feel incredibly soft or anything, so I wouldn't repurchase at this price point.

Typically, I wash my hair daily. With this shampoo, I can wash every other with dry shampoo and my hair still looks and feels great. I feel like my hair is very dry after this shampoo, and it's the conditioner that makes this a home run. Nourishes without oil, and still has body. This set is amazing. Don't hesitate to try this fantastic set. It's a little pricey, next time I will buy the larger set.

This shampoo is just okay for the price. I have short and very fine hair but I feel like I have to use a lot to distribute it all over. I should be able to use a nickel size amount but end up having to use three times that. The smell isn't offensive but isn't appealing and by day two my hair smells somewhat musty. It does a decent job of moisturizing when paired with the conditioner but I still have to use a lot of leave-in conditioner. I feel like for the price I should be able to skip the leave-in and use a comb on my damp hair without causing breakage. I'll use the rest of the bottle I bought because of the cost but this isn't one I'll buy again. I'll keep searching for the holy grail of shampoos for fine, breakage-prone hair.

Used both the shampoo and conditioner for my relaxed hair. Alittle goes a long way. Lathers well, rinses clean, and nice light scent that lingers. I would have preferred more moisture after rinsing however this shampoo did not dry my hair out either. Pricey and can get the same and/or better for less money.

I love these two products. I initially purchased the sampler pack because of the hype and imagine my surprise when the product exceeded expectations! I went all in and purchases the jumbo of both the conditioner and shampoo even though I have never spent this much on hair products before. A little goes a LONG way and even with my medium length hair I know these two jumbos are going to last a while.

I use this product daily or nearly daily. It leaves my hair feeling light, clean, and smelling great. I have color treated hair (green, pink, purple, etc) and this is the best shampoo for avoiding fading for longer. Love it!

I've always had pretty oily hair and skin, and I needed to wash my hair everyday. I've used Redkin for as long as I could remember, and ALWAYS stay away from shampoos that say moisturizing (because creamy and oily DO NOT mix).
But I took a gamble with the Sake Bomb (knowing that this is a daily cleanser), and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! My hair has never been better! I can skip a day of washing it, with a little dry shampoo, and not feel like my hair looks like a grease pit! I am sooo pleased with the shampoo and a few additional products I've picked up from Dry Bar, that I'm looking at buying some of the Styling Tools, as well.
Could not be happier with my gamble.

I am 45 years old. I have a ton (yes at my age) of course frizzy hair that has never responded to a single frizz taming or moisturizing product ever. My usual routine is to wash every other day (dry shampoo makes my hair feel like dirty straw), heat protectant, blowout with flat or round brush, cool down, heated brush (I dislike straightening irons), oil. Looks great until I leave the house- then it's a nightmare. I buy the opposite of volumizing products (it seems like they're all for volume!!!) and dream of smooth hair.....
Until I found this.
I can't believe it. My hair is flat. Shampoo/conditioner/blowout/oil. No heated brush. The next day my hair is still flat. It's like someone has replaced the hair on my head with someone else's hair. No I'm not kidding. It's soft and looks like I went to the salon. Every day. I'm sold; I'm done; I will be buying the larger sizes next. You have no idea how much time this has cut from my hair routine..... And about how much better it looks! 45 years. We had some pretty terrible hair products in the past and I've said that before...but I feel like the hair care technology has finally caught up with MY hair.

I never go for high end hair care products typically. But this showed up as a sample with one of my online orders and OMG! With just 1 use my hair is shinier than I have ever seen it, it's bouncy and voluptuous. Silky smooth and smells like heaven. I ordered a full size of this and the conditioner and will use it the rest of my life!

Having a hard time with my fine hair...most shampoos are to greasy or strips of moisture and feels dry...this stuff is perfect.

This stuff makes my thick hair feel like I just left the beauty salon. It really cleans and gets the build up from products out of your hair.

Upon the recommendation of the 2 DryBar specialists at Ulta Oakbrook last weekend, I bought the shampoo and conditioner along with the Charcoal Shampoo...and using all 3 products (Charcoal Shampoo 3x in a week, the other 2 almost daily) my hair hasn't felt cleaner, silkier and protected (I color my hair) in a long time. My daughter also tried it out and after the first time she said "touch my hair, it's soooo smooth" and she isn't a minimalist, she is definitely beauty conscious.

It smells so good that I wanted to love it. I used it about five times just trying to make myself like it but I can't. It actually dried my hair out horribly. It's like it costs it in something. I used the matching conditioner each time also. It made my hair feel brittle. It still has a bizzillion chemicals in it so you might as well use Pantene bc it will DEFINITELY work better.
Taryn from Oklahoma
I absolutely love the smell of this shampoo, but that's really the only good thing about it. It doesn't quite nourish my hair like expected. My hair is incredibly tangly even after using the conditioner. It just seems dull and lifeless. I wish it worked better because that smell is so amazing.

I decided to switch from Monat to Drybar after hearing amazing things about Drybar. I'm glad I did, my hair actually will go about 4-5 days without a necessary wash!
SLBS from Texas
Drybar's Sake Bomb is a little heavier compared to their On The Rocks shampoo making it a great option for those with thicker or more course/unruly hair I prefer to use this roughly 6 weeks or so after I receive a Brazilian Blowout otherwise I find it a bit too heavy. Smells great and leaves my hair soft, healthy & smooth!

I love Drybar and thought I'd try this product because I needed new shampoo. It smells great, but that's it. My hair looks dull and dry. I'll be returning this.

I have found I do not have to wash my hair daily. I have thin hair and I have found with other products that it left my hair greasy the next day. It is a great product and plan on purchasing this again.
Sam from Virginia
I so wanted to love this stuff but was VERY DISAPPOINTED! Made my hair feel stripped & like straw. Will be returning.
