Most Helpful Positive Review Effective, But be careful works very effectively...once you understand how to use it. this was the first time i had ever used a tool like this so i was confused as to push or pull the tool towards myself. also configuring the shield/cover can be a bit confusing, since the only directions on the back of the packaging are on how to change the razor blade. Once you get the hand of it though, it works beautifully. just make sure you take your time. the blade is very sharp & its very easy to accidentally go to deep and make yourself bleed.
Most Helpful Critical Review Had high hopes Was able to only use this heel shaver once, despite rinsing and letting dry it still rusted badly. This was a complete let down and waste of money to me. I was not expecting professional results, as I am not a professional, but I did have high hopes for this.

The blade is not sharp enough for me. I bought a callus remover off wish that was wonderful until it broke. This one takes too much time as you have to go back constantly over the same spot. You have to use more pressure every time you go back.
The case keeps sliding over the button when trying to use either side. It doesn't click in place very well. This item does feel cheaply made but it does the job for the most part.
Love this tool 5

Don't use this tool in the bath or shower. After soaking your feet until the callouses softenMost, thoroughly dry them. Gently run the tool over the calloused area - don't try to remove everything in one pass. I make several passes over the callous going in different directions. Thin pieces of dead skin will be removed. When I'm finished, I carefully clean the tool with a dry cloth or tissue. I use the blade 2-3 uses. A really sharp blade is key to easy removal.
one time use 3

It is very sharp and effective. But broke apart after one use. I would not recommend.
Not worth it 2

Cheaply made, comes with no instructions. Very sharp, and from experience I can say if you apply any pressure whatsoever you will slice open your foot and it will bleed profusely for several hours.
Do NOT buy this 1

I just used this for the first time and the file part fell out of the casing, causing me to grate my left thumb knuckle. I kept putting it back in and trying but it kept falling out. Also, the protective shield kept sliding over the button and interfering with my attempts to fix my awful feet. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!
This works 5

Don't get it wet. Don't use on wet skin. Works to remove thick calluses on feet or hands. Takes a little practice to get the hang of it.
Don't waste your money 2

Nothing good about this tool.
there's a learning curve 3
DawnB from Florida Panhandle
there are no real instructions, so it's off to YouTube to figure out how to put it back together when you accidentally take it apart trying to figure out how to use it. once that was taken care of it does work as described, but you definitely need to use it on wet skin. I wish it was adjustable though as some callouses are bigger than others and could benefit from a deeper depth range
I love it 5

I see other reviews here talking about rusting...I don't think your'e supposed to wash this. It's just dead skin, wipe it off. Anyway, I don't usually get pedicure done, I do it myself, so I do love using this shaver to take care of my callus when needed. I do love shaving the callus so much that I can get little carried away and shave little too much, but won't be the first time. I usually like to use this to shave it first, then use some sort of buffer to even out the skin. Works great if you don't wash the blade. No need for that.
Worked for week or two 2

This worked well ... for 3 weeks then the callus remover rusted so bad i, of course tossed it.
Whimpy design, broke 1
NinjaClaws from Midwest
Do yourself a favor if you need a callus shaver buy one with a more solid handle and design. The plastic cover that slide back and forth for storage/use makes this hard to hold on to and use.
Do not buy 1

While the idea behind this compact gadget seems great, the product does not work properly.
I never buy it again 1

Don't shave too much! 5
Bri from Aurora, cO
I just like to occasionally shave off the rough skin on my feet. The pumice stone does a good job sometimes, and so does the micro blade, but sometimes you just need to be able to shave some thick dry skin off!

First of all, I had to YouTube how to use this because the instructions are awful on the packaging. It only says how to change a blade.
I appreciate that there's a safe design to it but I feel like it prevents it from working a little better than it could.
The rasper isn't very good either. It didn't do much to my feet.
I was kind of disappointed in this which made me sad considering I love Tweezerman products.
Not like the Nail Salon 3
Mary Makeup from Oceanside, CA
Wanted to try because I thought it looked a lot like the shavers that are used in salons. You know, the things that take off layers of dead skin like in sheets. While it doesn't take of the mass quantities of dead skin, it does do a fairly good job of shaving down calluses. Make sure feet have been soaked before using. Also had to watch a Youtube video to figure out how to get the guard off the blade. Blade only lasted through one use before it became dull, but in fairness to the product, I was using it on a large callus.
love it! 4
leelee00 from texas
I love this so much my feet are sore because i went to town lol but so worth it my feet look and feel so much better. I have had ugly crusty feet for year and could never find anything that made then look better until this!! i cant say anything about the rusting part because i just got it today but i would buy refills and use a new blade everytime juat to keep this around!!!
Cut me multiple times 1
Jesica from Texas
The side with the razor gave me multiple cuts by barely even touching... Razor side is very dangerous in my opinion... The other side did not work at all... It is suppose to smooth the bottoms of your feet and it made it worse...
Worked well 4

This is a two and one product. Works good for pedicures.
like my old junky one better 1
TA from lansing, mi
My old one is rusty, bought a new one with a file on the end thinking it was the better option. My old one is waaaay better. New one clogs frequently, is difficult to hold. I'm going back to my old one.
Not worth the price 1

Would think twice. Always have been a major purchaser of all Tweezerman implements. For me, their tweezers are excellent! When they get realigned you send them in and they come back realigned, shiny, and like new. No fee, lifetime! So was expecteing this to be exceptional. No such luck! Changed to a new blade, still no go! Have used this type of implement many times from a much cheaper product with great success. The only plus was that I did like the course file that remains covered until you release the cover.
Love this 5

I love this callous shaver. Been using one for years and years. It is so simple to use. You can get all angles of the foot with no problem. I have such terrible heels so this is an absolute gift from heaven!
