Comments about SheaMoisture Sacha Inchi Rescue & Repair Hair Masque:

I was looking for a cheaper masque to replace a higher-end deep conditioner that does wonders for my hair. (I'm one of those that has to use a deep conditioner with every wash if I want my hair to appear healthy and moisturized all day long. I have 2C-3A hair that loses moisture very quickly throughout the day, and I wash my hair about twice a week.) This deep conditioner felt amazing in my hair, had perfect slip, made my hair easy to detangle, and gave me good results. BUT... the smell. It's a very "holistic", incense-y, strong smell that gave me a headache and made me feel dizzy the rest of the day, even though I washed out the product entirely. I won't be using it again unfortunately.

Comments about SheaMoisture Sacha Inchi Rescue & Repair Hair Masque:

I've tried a lot of conditioners and this is the only brand that works best for me, and I especially love this one. Not only is it sulfate/ chemical free, it moisturizes my hair and makes it feel like silk in the shower! I highly recommend for someone with dry hair/ hair that thinned out from stress.

When I professionally colored my hair lighter my hair was very dry. It felt dry and stiff. I could tell she needed some serious repair or moisture. I tried leave in conditioners, deep conditioning etc.. This mask was the only thing that work immediately. My hair feels softer and stronger. I recommend if you need to add some moisture to your hair.

Comments about SheaMoisture Sacha Inchi Rescue & Repair Hair Masque:

I loved this masque! My hair is mid-back length and the ends were pathetically dead and dry. I tried several products to restore it so that I wouldn't have to resort to chopping it off and nothing was making a difference. Then I found this on a whim at Ulta and my dry, dead hair is cured! My hair is now shiny and lifeless, and the ends are much healthier and less brittle! I left it in my hair for longer than the directions instructed--almost 30 minutes--but I'm sure it still would've worked just as well if I left it in for the time instructed. The only complaint I have about this product is the smell. It smells a bit like patchouli which I'm sure some would like, but it's not something I personally enjoy. Other than that, I would recommend this product 100%!

There are many reasons this could happen. The most common may be that they have low porosity hair. People with low porosity hair types are very sensitive to protein and this product contains a fairly high amount of protein which would cause someone with low porosity hair to end up with extremely dry hair and possibly access product build up. It may also just not be a good fit for their hair type.
