Comments about SheaMoisture Sacha Inchi Rescue & Repair Clarifying Shampoo:

I wash my hair two/three times a week, I've been trying to grow out my hair for years and this product is really helping! It doesn't lather well due to the fact it doesn't have sulfate but I don't care it's safer on my hair and not so much chemicals. I'm in love

Comments about SheaMoisture Sacha Inchi Rescue & Repair Clarifying Shampoo:

I have long naturally straight hair. It is medium density and naturally blonde. I've recently started to use a blend of castor oil, olive oil and coconut oil from root to tip to promote healthy hair growth (to donate hair). This clarifying shampoo does a good job of getting the oil out of my hair, so that I don't ave to wash twice to get it out. I've used it twice when I wasn't doing the opil treatment, and it worked really well to get all of the dry shampoo and my usual oil build up out of my hair. I would suggest only using once a week or once every other week (if you're doing an oil treatment) or it may stripe your hair.

My curls were looking real sad for several weeks. The ends looked dead and The body was kinda frizzy. Considered a big chop. One use of this shampoo brought it back to life! Maybe I didn't realize how much build up I had. This product doesn't smell amazing but it works so well. And you can't beat the price.

I have fine, thin, straight hair that's damaged from being color treated every month. I wanted a shampoo & conditioner that would moisturize and protect color that also smells good! The smell is a deal breaker for me. I will be returning this.

Three questions. 1. What does it smell like like? 2. Is it too heavy for 3A/2C Caucasian hair? 3. Is the ph balance set so I need to rinse with vinegar etc. after using? Thanks.

I have extremely coily/curly, low porosity hair and I use the Shea Moisture Low Porosity line already. But I still feel like no matter how much oil and leave in conditioner I use, my hair gets extremely dry within a day after I apply my products. Would this be a good product to use to cleanse my hair completely of any build up and start fresh?

For low porosity hair type, we wouldn't recommend using any products in this line because they are high in protein. We would recommend using one of the following Lines: Peace Rose Oil, Superfruit, or Fruit Fusion. We think you'll enjoy the SuperFruit and Fruit Fusion Masques.
