Hydrating Toner is recommended as a Step 1 cleanser/toner in any Murad Resurgence regimen. Hydrating Toner restores pH balance and neutralizes surface impurities as part of Dr. Murad's inclusive health system of care.

Dermatologist developed. Tested on people, not animals. Formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.

MCTD- LUPUS AND SCLERODERMA

By Joylinn

from Henderson, Nevada

Comments about Murad Resurgence Hydrating Toner:

I'm in love! I used to use Mario Badescue's relief spray and it was ok and smelled great but THIS is that on natural steroids and better (than steroids AND the MB products, for me personally idk about yourself)!! "That fragrance you're smelling is lychee and peaches" Saint Michael informed me, IS super pleasant which is just heartwarming because usually with sensitive skin products we're not afforded lovely aromatics! Please, never stop selling Murad products! My red/tight/angry irritated, dry/oily (its one or the other) skin has been absolutely soothed into relaxer bliss. I NEVER THOUGHT MY SKIN COULD BE LEGITIMATELY "HAPPY!"

Comments about Murad Resurgence Hydrating Toner:

This product is ok. It definitely wasn't hydrating and due to the spray bottle, ended up being quite drying, especially to my lips. I would not buy this again. This may be better to use in the summer, than in the fall or winter. I wasn't really impressed with this product at all.

Walked into Ulta with my face burning and peeling it was so dry. An employee helped steer me to the right products and I'm in love! New to Murad, and this spray is amazing. Use it a few times a day when my face is feeling dry and it is so soothing. Plus the light fresh scent is a nice plus.

I spray this on my face after cleansing. It smells so good (like peaches). It has evened out my skin tone and texture, and while I have sensitive skin, it has not irritated my skin. I use it in the morning and it wakes my skin up, feels fresh. In the evening, it feels clean and hydrated. I then use my moisturizer after using this product. I have repurchased this product 3 times now. I love it! I would recommend for mature skin also (50+) I do wish it sprayed out a little more "fine" but the product is so good, I can live with that :)

Comments about Murad Resurgence Hydrating Toner:

This toner is light and takes seconds to dry before you begin your next skin care step. My skin is EXTREMELY sensitive...I suffer from periodic cystic acne, eczema, rosacea, and general sensitivities. I have no problems with this product. It's light and it smells great. Plus, the spray bottle is the perfect way to dispense it. When I get to the last little bit, I take off the lid, put a cotton swab up to the lid and utilize the last little bit of it .

Comments about Murad Resurgence Hydrating Toner:

I originally purchased this to combat dry skin caused by acne medications. My skin was seriously flaking off, and this completely saved my skin! I stopped using it for a couple of days because I ran out and I didn't want to spend the money on a new one, and my skin looked terrible--dry, flaky, irritated. I immediately ordered one again and have never looked back. This is a staple in my skin care routine for sure.

I'm honestly not sure if it's doing anything to my skin but I love misting this stuff all over my face after washing. Regarding the smell... it doesn't smell like roses but it doesn't smell bad, either. Think of it this way: do you want to blast your face with perfumes? Me either. I'm addicted and I'll be buying more. My acne-prone, sensitive, combination skin has been behaving with it.

I noticed it says step 1 cleanse/tone and to follow with a step 2 treatment, but are you supposed to use a cleanser before using the toner?

                    1 answer

                    • Brand Expert

                      A:

Most of Murad products fall into a 3 step category. Step 1 products either cleanse the skin or they tone the skin. Hydrating Toner only tones the skin.

You can use Hydrating Toner multiple times during the day. If using when you first wake up or before you go to bed at night, then yes, you would cleanse the skin and then spritz on Hydrating Toner followed by a serum/step 2 and then your moisturizer. Use it after you apply makeup as a setting spray. You can also carry this with you and spray on throughout the day to refresh your skin.

Here's a favorite in-house trick: we like it to keep it in the fridge when it's hot out to cool and re-hydrate.
