I wore it during the hot Labor Day weekend and it worked perfectly. It wasn't greasy. Didn't leave my hands greasy. It observed fairly quickly and it kept my skin from burning. I got a small tan because I didn't reapply the whole day but I didn't feel my skin burning up in the 112 degrees weather. I definitely recommend it. I'm buying the tanning lotion next and see how well that works too.
Not completely reef safe
Jenanda B. from TX, US
While it does do a decent job at protecting against UV exposure from the sun, it's not completely reef safe. It contains octocrylene, which can be just as harmful as oxybenzone and octinoxate (the UV filters banned in Hawaii). The other filters in this product are technically reef safe, but I'm not sure if they are completely safe for other marine life... I think I'm going to stick with water resistant non-nano mineral (non-nano titanium dioxide and non-nano zinc oxide) sunscreens.

Love this sunscreen ! It is a nice light lotion that rubs in easily . I use everyday and has a nice tropical fragrance ! And has protected against getting sunburn .
This is magic in a bottle!

So! I am very pale and have always burned. I am in Arizona for a trip and thought I was gonna turn into a lobster. Nope! Haven't burned at all and getting a nice tan with the bronzer. This seriously saved my skin from getting burned on our hike today! This sunscreen protects you like no other and I'm ordering a second bottle when I get home!
Love using Maui Babe

Great for sun protection and skin care.
Leaves a White Cast
Ultaqueen from Nebraska
I'm sure this does the job, but it leaves a white cast and it's not cute to look like a ghost at the pool.
This is a cheap chemical sunscreen..

This is a gross chemical sunscreen. It's like banana boat...

I have been using this sunscreen since 2011 and have never turned back. I first found this in Hawaii when I was on vacation with my family. I'm very fair-skinned and am also sensitive to fragrances (I break out really badly) but this is the best thing I've ever put on my body. I have tried other sunscreens for the beach/laying out and they always make me burn within 20-30 minutes. I never burn on this sunscreen as long as I reapply every hour, but keep in mind that I'm fair-skinned so if you're darker, you could probably go longer before reapplying. The only place I don't usually use this sunscreen is on my face but that's because I'm always nervous about breaking out, but the rare occasions I do use it on my face, I don't break out.
Not reef safe
Monika from Las Vegas
I was excited to try this until I looked at the ingredients list. I'd like to know how this sunscreen is 'reef safe' yet all of the active ingredients are bad for the environment/ocean. Reef safe sunscreens are usually made with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide.
