Most Helpful Positive Review Thinner Than Foundation, Thicker Than Moisturizer
For those that don't want to appear heavily made up, this is a happy medium above light BB creams and below heavier foundations. It blends well and doesn't dry out the skin, but it does give a dewey finish. While that is still trendy right now, for those who aren't as fond of looking a little too fresh from the hot outdoors, a simple translucent powder like Revlon's photoready (which does have some small shine of its own) will dim it down to a more natural look. It's a great base on its own, and offers great sun protection and skin evening/smoothing in one simple step.
Also, unlike some other sunscreens of Cetaphil's, this one doesn't have a sour chemically smell or taste, should you get it a bit close to the lips. The pump requires a simultaneous squeeze of the tube to prime it the first time, but after that the pump works well, and just 2-3 pumps will be sufficient to cover the whole face.
Most Helpful Critical Review I Was Never Relieved of Redness
I was looking for a moisturizer to help with my rosacea and not make my acne-prone skin break out. The only redness related ingredient, was the light tint--nothing else--but it lightly covered my rosacea and I still had to use makeup. It wore off by the end of my workout, and it did nothing for my redness when I tried to wear it under my makeup at work or throughout the day. It does contain SPF but has silica as an ingredient not shown when I purchased the item online.

Brit from Tampa
I'm conflicted because I like this product despite some flaws. It is not not dark skin and causes a white shadow to appear on face. I'm assuming it disappears after you enter the sun or you can add a little foundation. I however like it because it's not greasy and I have oily skin. It also has a good amount of protection for those with melanin. I would recommend this moisturizer.
Amazing for medium toned skin.
Rach from Kansas City, MO
Amazing product. Matches my skin tone really well. It wouldn't work for fair skin but I don't have fair skin, I have medium skin. I would say this is an amazing moisturizing CC cream.
Awful Tan Color
Commenter from MD
Used it once. After washing it off at night, saw tan colored stuff in my pores. Was afraid if I used this everyday for long enough, my skin would be stained tan colored, so I stopped.
Wish it would come in SPF30. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

i'm trying not wear as much make up so I decided to pick this up since it has a light tint in it. i've already heard great reviews about all cetaphil products & it didn't dissapoint! i'm always rosy around my cheek & nose area & this really helped cancel that out! I apply the product with my hands & It goes on smoothly & sits on the skin nicely as well. definitely gives my skin a touch of life I was looking for when I don't want to wear make up.
Mineral Based SPF is Always Best
MissMV from Orange County
Love that this company offers a mineral based sunscreen. The product went on smooth, although I always apply my creams and serums with wet hands to give it some extra slip. I'm not sure which ingredient helps with redness, probably just having a tint would reduce it. However, the tint may not work well for everyone.

This product is amazing for any age. The company, Galderma, has produce a product that I can put onto my face and not have to worry about an allergic reaction. Cetaphil is a tinted formula that moisturize your skin without the irritation or heavyness after having it on all day. I purchase one for my daughter who wont try anything else.
Thank you Galderma for a wonderful product.

I have very light skin with freckles and some redness on my cheeks. This product does help to take away the redness which is great! I also like that it goes on smoothly and doesn't clog my pores. Also doesn't give the face a greasy look.
It does provide more tint compared to other tinted SPFs I've used, however, if you're looking for something a bit closer to the affect of foundation this won't give you that look. Still great to help decrease redness.
I used this as a daily moisturizer and will use foundation on top of it when going out. If you're looking for something with a bit more color/coverage, I highly recommend checking out Mychelle Sun Shield Liquid SPF.
Not what I expected
MMinium from Lewes, De
When I ordered this I thought it was just a redness control lotion. I did not realize that it was "tinted" I use the word tinted lightly because it honestly it more of a light weight coverage foundation. I have BB cream that is less tinted than this. However the color looks nice on my currently tanned skinned but would be able 2-3 shades to dark for my normal pale self. The product feels nice on my skin. It is oily like a sunscreen is but I have dry skin so it works for me. If you have already oily skin I would avoid this. My only real complaint is that I thought it was a daily lotion that I could put in right when I wake up and maybe again middle of the day but now I view it more as a light weight foundation that will need washed off at the end of the day.
The tint is unwearable
Stace from Ohio
I love the night cream and facial foam in this redness relief line, but the day cream misses the mark. The tint looks at least two shades darker then my skin. I even put foundation over this and my skin still looked strange. It looked orange on my skin, not neutral. It didn't seem to break me out however. I would not recommend this if you have very fair skin.
Visibly Reduces Redness and Pores

I love this product! It been a ride or die with me my skin is never irritated and red anymore. No oily texture.
Brenda from Iowa
Reasonably priced product. I like the product and the sunscreen factor.
Too dark and oily
ANickname from AL
This has a tint to it and it was shades darker than my skin tone. I typically wear the two lightest color foundations offered by brands and this was incredibly dark on my pale skin. I also used it under makeup and it made my foundation break apart and horrid looking.
I love this stuff

I use this instead of foundation and set with powder for a day time look.

Perfect for calming down redness and smoothing out skin tone!
Regret buying it, ended in trash after day 1.

I have been using the Redness Relief Wash and Night Moisturizer for weeks and it has almost completely cleared my "mild" case of rosacea. I thought "Maybe I should get the Daily SPF Moisturizer and see if it helps more."
Hated the tint, I'm pale and it definitely showed that there was a color difference if I didn't cake my face like I do with makeup, which was my fault for not seeing "tinted" when I looked at the product.
Even though it says moisturizer...it didn't...at all. I was drier than before and flaked within 5min and had to wash my face again.
I would not recommend this as part of the Redness Relief routine line.
Use the face wash and the night moisturizer. If you really need a day time moisturizer, just use the money you'd use on this to buy another bottle of the night one and use that. At least that will keep you hydrated and not make your face darker.
Great as a second layer of spf
Liz from San Antonio, TX
This product is great as a second layer of spf. I found this product on one of Dr. Drays (dermatologist) YouTube videos. I use a Spf 50 mineral sunscreen and use this one on top of it to cover the white cast and add iron oxides for my protection. I love how easily this goes on my face and how moisturizing it feels.
LOVE this, wish it had higher spf
Sarah from Midwest
This product is wonderful! It feels great, it moisturizes, it evens out my skin tone, doesn't pill up, doesn't smell weird and it has spf but doesn't break me out! It's like the best CC cream I've ever used. I use this product as my moisturizer and my base layer of spf. My skin tone is in the light medium range and I can wear it alone or under makeup. When I do put on foundation with it I've found matte or mineral foundation do better with it if it's humid out. This product doesn't layer with primer well so my foundation will break down a little faster but it's worth it to get a base layer of spf that doesn't irritate my skin. Seriously, this product is a pleasure to use. My only lament is that it's SPF 20 and not 30+.
Love the feeling, awful color
Katie from California
I love the allantoin in this product. It applies smoothly and felt great on my face all day. BUT it made my face look dirty, like I had a hint of orange dirt. It seems to oxidize as well. I returned it. The search for moisture and sun protection continues...
My Favorite Foundation
Happy User from Raleigh, NC
I have very dry skin with a few red patches. I have tried an array of foundations and this one was the best at not looking dry, not settling into my pored, and covering the redness. it is very moisturizing. it has just enough sheen. A friend of mine thought I had used highlighter, but it was just this moisturizer. The only downside is the spf of 20 instead of 30.
I don't know how to feel about it
Laya from Sacramento, Ca
It did cover my redness well and no bad reactions from it, I don't have to wear makeup with this either. The only thing is I can't tell if it's making me look a little orange (I have fair skin)?
Like it so far. Dermatologist recommended for rosacea.
Avi from West palm beach, fl
Like so far cause it's for rosacea and has sunblock and it's tinted. Spreads easily and covers well. I have olive skin, but I think it may be too dark for fair skin tone.
Good moisturizer, like the tinted cream
Irene from San Antonio, TX
Good moisturizer, not greasy. Like the tinted cream. Have not seen improvement yet on redness.
Greasy and transferred
rlh from Columbus, OH
Was excited to find a lower-cost, tinted mineral option, and used it for about a month. Does give nice, light coverage--but I started finding orangey smudges everywhere, and it was hard to wash off of my hands because of the greasy consistency. I would wash my hands with soap and water and would still get streaks on my hand towel after. Decided it wasn't worth the trouble. Also leaves face shiny, which I didn't mind, but could be a dealbreaker for some.
j from Modesto
I bought this knowing it had a small amount of tint. I've been looking for a tinted moisturizer that was lightweight and not super thick like many other products. I've used bareminerals complexion rescue before because many people recommended it to me but that product was way too thick. I avoid foundation because I rarely have any acne and my only concern for my face is it get oily on my forehead and nose. So, I don't really need foundation. My mom bought this product and she gets pretty bad acne and also has some dark spots but she said this product has really helped her face too.
