Love Shea Moisture for my medium, high porosity 2c-3b curly hair that's salon colored and highlighted. Their packets are a great way to try the masks before buying the full size. I loved the Manuka Honey Mask, but now they put beeswax in it (check the ingredients on actual product - not on Ulta) so it's no longer CG Friendly. Very disappointed because it was perfect for my hair. This Raw Shea Butter mask was deeply hydrating, but unfortunately it weighed my hair down too much. Will try another...

I used this masque for the first time & I love it! Will definately purchase a big bottle next time. I used this with a steam treatment. It left my hair soft, detangled & smelling great. I had no problem separating my hair in parts with a wide toothed comb.
I was surprised by this conditioner.

My hair type I believe is 3b around the perimeter and crown but 4a at the top center portion. I used wash my hair, use conditioner to detangle, then put the deep conditioner on.l with a shower cap. I am sure I could have used this right after a shampoo as well.

This is the only Shea Moisture "conditioning" product that does lead to shedding for my 4c hair. Perhaps because there are no major chemicals, sulfates or chlorides -- my behentrominium and centrominium sistas. I know these are supposed to be conditioning products but I notice hair shrinkage and strand slimmage when they are present.
The clay is a safer and natural ingredient so I have no or minimal shedding and end knots or hair balls. My 4d super tight coiled hair in the front dries up with (wheat and soy potein particularly when they are in the first 10 ingredients; MRTM has NO protein but more importantly, I don't think it even has 10 ingredients. Less chemicals, less breakage. MRTM has no coconut oil that unfortunately brings the same result as protein. Thanks for adding avocado oil; it penetrates my nonporous hair better than olive or grape seed oil, but it is not as heavy as the 4c winner --JBCO. I wish SM would bring back your Low Porosity line but till then, this is the only safe conditioner for me, leave-in or not.

I love this product! My hair is so dry and this product is amazing! The only problem is it is so difficult to find in the stores.
Best Deep Conditioner for Low Porosity Type 4 Hair

I really wish you guys would put this a 12 once jar and just have two deep conditioner alternatives for the raw shea butter line. The deep treatment masque is more formulated for high porosity hair (it has more shea butter, heavier oils, and a pretty strong protein) all things that don't work the best for low porosity hair. My hair is so moisturized and defined after using this with heat and doesn't keep my hair from being able to absorb my leave in/styler.

This worked amazing. My hair is very shiny and frizz went down by a bunch. I would recommend using it every three washes. Shea moisture needs to make it into a jar!
