Comments about Laura Geller Quench-N-Tint Hydrating Foundation:

My daughter and I both bought this and are loving it. She's a teenager and I'm not. We both love how your skin absorbs it but then you have slight coverage. Not a full foundation but like a tinted moisturizer. Great product!

Perfect for "no makeup" kinda days

Comments about Laura Geller Quench-N-Tint Hydrating Foundation:

I tried this Quench-n-Tint for an entire week and have finally figured out the best way for it to work for me. First of all, LG site just came out with light/medium, which is the perfect shade for me. It is a true tinted moisturizer. The best way to apply is exactly as they instruct—with your fingers. It looks like there's nothing on your skin at first, and then after a few minutes it adds a little color to your face. The consistency is amazing, not runny, gel-like, and it hydrates my face. After a few hours, my face just looks better in a way that I can't really describe. It's like I've been out in the sun, but doesn't look like I have anything on my face. I love this product! I don't recommend pairing it with primer or using it as a full on foundation. It's not really a foundation. But it is truly an amazing product, my favorite for minimal makeup days.

This is such a great foundation! I wanted something that I could easily throw on, but actually let my face breathe and wouldn't get so melty in the heat. I wanted something with a little more coverage than tinted moisturizer, but not super heavy. This is so easy to use and blend. It's easy to get light to even fuller coverage by adding a bit more. I'm so glad I tried this!

I bought this product after the BB cream was discontinued from this line, which I loved. It is similar to the BB cream but the texture is a little different. It has a silkier feel but still provides light, yet complete coverage without the look of full makeup. It might just be a keeper!

I wanted a light-weight foundation that would blend my tanned face and cover the freckles. This does both. It goes on really smoothly and a little goes a long way.

Comments about Laura Geller Quench-N-Tint Hydrating Foundation:

This is my new favorite formula, it feels more like a CC cream, rather than a light foundation, and that is completely ok. It is light and feels smooth when applying, I was worried about color matching because of their limited colors, but the medium one worked just fine. I was leery after reading a review about the oxidation, but I have not observed such thing. I do wish it had sun screen, but I like it so much that I doubt I will go back to my bare minerals tinted moisturizer I have used for 5 years.

Comments about Laura Geller Quench-N-Tint Hydrating Foundation:

Laura Geller is definitedly my new favorite foundation, it is more of a CC cream really with light to medium coverage. It feels very light and gives you just enough coverage without feeling heavy. I switched from Bare Minerals, I tried several different ones (quality brands) and this is by far my favorite, Clinique's was a close contender, but it does feel more like a foundation. It is easy to apply with my brush or beauty blender, and when I have forgotten them or am in a hurry, my clean fingers do a pretty good job, that's how smooth it applies, specially if you use the sparkle primer. I use a medium and it is just right for my color.

The medium should work great for you. Because they are so sheer, you will not see a line of demarkation under your jawline.

What has been the best way you have found to apply it? I've tried with brush and fingertips and I don't like the finish after it's been applied unless I'm doing something wrong.

                    • Q:

This is a VERY good product and JUST what I am looking for! In addition it is light and natural enough that I could do seamless touch ups with my Balance and Brighten or other Geller fine milled powder throughout day. HOWEVER, with such a beautiful, light, natural skin like lovely fluid, that doesn't feel heavy or clogging on the skin, would it ruin it to put a sunscreen in it?? It would be SUCH a fantastic all purpose, light fluid for ALL people, even those who don't wear or like makeup, because they would be enhancing moisturizer, spf, get a pretty light, brightening and protecting cover, which also could lightly be reapplied if needed with of it's light texture, just like a light moisture with no build up, cracking, masking or other undesirable effects. Would it be possible to offer with and without SPF? It is such a lovely, no make up feel skin moisturizer and enhancer that can be used with no makeup at all.

Thank you so so so much for those kind words about Quence-n-tint!!! We appreciate the support of our brand and fabulous products! I will certainly bring this topic up with our product development team. In the time being, I would recommend using our Spackle under makeup primer with SPF 30 to satisfy your needs. It'll prime the skin and will keep your makeup on all day long, and you'll get that SPF protection that you desire. Please see the link below!

                      Hello,
Being that there are only a few shades I'm going to assume this is a very sheer product. I'm just wondering if the lightest shade might be too dark for me. I use Fair with IT Your Skin But Better CC cream, and Cool Bone with Estée Lauder double wear foundation. What are your thoughts on this? With Urban Decay I'm a 1.5-2.0..
                      Thank you!

You nailed it- this is a very sheer product. Even people who are pretty porcelain can wear the light in this product because of its sheerness. I think you should give it a try! It is a fabulous way to get just the right amount of coverage and hydration all at the same time. Enjoy!

                        A:

This product is so sheer, it will start to eliminate the appearance of redness but it will not cover it up completely. If you like sheer coverage but are looking for more color correction, I recommend pairing it with our Spackle Under Makeup Primer in the soothing formula. It has a green tint, and anything green on the color wheel will cut redness. The two products combined will be perfect! Link below:
