      Bring back the B.B. cream!

      By Lacy Redhead

      from CO

Comments about Laura Geller Quench-N-Tint Hydrating Foundation:

Although he Quench-N-Tint is hydrating, it has absolutely no coverage. I am a fair redhead and even the lightest color tint is too dark. It also oxidizes horribly on my skin. Loved the B.B. cream - it matched my skin perfectly and provide the right amount of coverage for me. I used to love the Laura Geller brand but have since switched to something else.

This product feels like you are applying water in a good way to your face, it's so hydrating. But it oxidizes so bad and fast. I bought the lightest shade and applied with a morphe brush and within 5 minutes it was way to dark for me.

Comments about Laura Geller Quench-N-Tint Hydrating Foundation:

I don't know how this product has almost a 5 star rating. The finish is absolutely gorgeous! It doesn't cling to dry patches or settle into fine lines BUT it oxidizes like CRAZY! I'm not talking about a shade or so darker I mean it turns orange. Umpa Loompa orange, tangerine orange, straight up orange. There is NOTHING you can do to fix it. There is no "I can make this work" woth this product. Unless your skin is orange. I was very sad because everything else about this product is A-1, tip top, just the best in every way. But because of the shade it turns it's unwearable.

I really liked the way this went on. Blended well and felt nice on my skin but the lightest color was too dark for me. I would definitely buy this if it came in a lighter shade. Maybe I'll try it again in the summer when I get a little color on my face.

This is a VERY good product and JUST what I am looking for! In addition it is light and natural enough that I could do seamless touch ups with my Balance and Brighten or other Geller fine milled powder throughout day. HOWEVER, with such a beautiful, light, natural skin like lovely fluid, that doesn't feel heavy or clogging on the skin, would it ruin it to put a sunscreen in it?? It would be SUCH a fantastic all purpose, light fluid for ALL people, even those who don't wear or like makeup, because they would be enhancing moisturizer, spf, get a pretty light, brightening and protecting cover, which also could lightly be reapplied if needed with of it's light texture, just like a light moisture with no build up, cracking, masking or other undesirable effects. Would it be possible to offer with and without SPF? It is such a lovely, no make up feel skin moisturizer and enhancer that can be used with no makeup at all.

Thank you so so so much for those kind words about Quence-n-tint!!! We appreciate the support of our brand and fabulous products! I will certainly bring this topic up with our product development team. In the time being, I would recommend using our Spackle under makeup primer with SPF 30 to satisfy your needs. It'll prime the skin and will keep your makeup on all day long, and you'll get that SPF protection that you desire. Please see the link below!

                  Hello,
Being that there are only a few shades I'm going to assume this is a very sheer product. I'm just wondering if the lightest shade might be too dark for me. I use Fair with IT Your Skin But Better CC cream, and Cool Bone with Estée Lauder double wear foundation. What are your thoughts on this? With Urban Decay I'm a 1.5-2.0..
                  Thank you!

You nailed it- this is a very sheer product. Even people who are pretty porcelain can wear the light in this product because of its sheerness. I think you should give it a try! It is a fabulous way to get just the right amount of coverage and hydration all at the same time. Enjoy!

                    A:

This product is so sheer, it will start to eliminate the appearance of redness but it will not cover it up completely. If you like sheer coverage but are looking for more color correction, I recommend pairing it with our Spackle Under Makeup Primer in the soothing formula. It has a green tint, and anything green on the color wheel will cut redness. The two products combined will be perfect! Link below:
