I started using Jane Iredale years ago when I was in high school (I'm 30 now). My mom and I both got hooked on it. She used it for aging skin and I used it for my teenage acne prone skin. Years later I stopped using it because I started using MAC (for performances and stage appearances) which broke my skin out horribly. I jumped around to different makeups like Clinique, Lancome, etc, and eventually came back to Jane Iredale... only to find out, shortly there after, that the only MedSpa/Dermatologist in town that carried JI's products stopped carrying it and started carrying only Colorescience mineral makeup. So I started using Colorescience and continued to use it for about 6-7 years since, and over the years my skin has continued to break out consistently and have never really been completely happy with the way my makeup looked, but it was "just good enough" that I didn't feel the need to seek out the JI products... Now that at age 30 my skin is starting to show age, and is not quiet as resilient as it once was, so I decided to make the switch back to JI. Her products are a little easier to find now so there are plenty of other places that carry it. And OH MY GOODNESS! I have forgotten how absolutely amazing this stuff is!!!! I will never desert you again, Jane! The color/tone (Golden Glow) of the makeup even looks better on than the other stuff I was using before. The coverage is brilliant and my face absolutely glows. I've fallen in love all over again! I also use the Smooth Affair primer. I haven't put my foundation on without the primer yet, but I'm sure it makes a big difference and have heard it is amazing stuff, which is why I bought it. Thank you, Jane Iredale!!
TLDR: This stuff rocks and blows all other makeups away, especially the other mineral makeups! Get. It. Now.
Jane Iredale has been absolutely the best for over ten years to me. I use Pure Pressed Base SPF 20. But recently last winter I was sadly informed my shade of color was discontinued. It has been tough and costly trying to match my skin tone to the new limited shades for women of multiple shades of color. I tried everything and none of the colors are close to my skin tone. Also, I was informed to mix two different colors of pure pressed together to make my shade of color. I was hurt because of course Jane Iredale make up was and has always been absolutely the best until recently. Please consider bringing back or make additional Pure Pressed Base SPF20 colors for women of multiple shades of color. If not this will become costly buying two shades to make one color. Sincerely Faithful customer

Love this product! Easy application - great finish and spf! I'd love to see a higher spf I this product, as long as it didn't change the original formula/product. Love!

My go to everyday foundation. I've been using it for almost 5 years and not only do I love it, but my skin does too. It's so easy to apply and build coverage, conceal, and protect (spf) my acne prone skin. I will always have Pure Pressed Powder in my beauty arsenal!

Purepressed base provides the best coverage for my sensitive skin. I love that it has SPF. My favorite thing is that the color chart and the color descriptions make it easy to match my skin tone from season to season.

I've used Jane Iredale's pressed powders for over a decade and always come back when something else breaks me out. I always get compliments on my skin when I wear this makeup. The coverage is great, but Ulta doesn't carry the flocked sponge, which I find is best for application. You can get it on Jane's website or find a skincare/spa store that carries Jane in you area to pick some up. You won't regret it! The color range is great too. I have a more fair complexion with warm/olive undertones, but I've used a lot of the colors from Warm Silk to Warm Sienna (you can get a sample pallet on their site too). This is skincare makeup and won't mess up your skin. I also recommend their Glow Time Full Coverage makeup if your skin is a little more dry in the Winter and the powder doesn't do it for you.

I've used this product for twelve years. During that time I've tried other products but always, ALWAYS, come back to JI PurePressed Base. I can't count the compliments I've had on my skin since I started using it. My advice is to purchase The Handi brush for applying it. This will always be in my makeup kit!

I feel like I am feeding my skin nutrients when I use the pressed powder! Love it.

LOVE the natural coverage! Best brand I've ever used and I have used many high end facial powders and foundations. Stays on well.

I have been using this foundation for years. I have tried others every once in a while on a whim but it always come back to this. Full coverage while not looking pancakey. Very natural look.

Love it! I have very sensitive, acne prone skin and it doesn't cause me break out. The coverage is buildable and natural.

I will not use any other mineral foundation. This product has done wonders for my skin. The coverage is smooth and not cakey.

I was very new to makeup (especially quality makeup) until I started working at a dermatology clinic and they helped me pick out this powder. I love it! I like to keep my routine super simple - under the eye concealer, powder, bronzer, mascara and that's it! This powder blends perfectly with a brush and is so easy to take on the go in the gold compact case. It doesn't cause me to have pimples, it absorbs the oily shine on my skin, and evens out my natural redness. Love it!

Love this for my summer ritual. I use 45 sunscreen that apply the pressed powder-set with mist and I'm covered for the day

Complements my skin tone nicely and looks so natural with good coverage.
Kasey from Arizona
My absolute favorite product! It's a powder that is light but build able, non comedogenic (doesn't clog your pores) and it's also an SPF!
Bridget from Arkansas
This is the only foundation I use! The coverage is perfect. Not too much or too little. It has also helped my acne prone skin tremendously.

I have been using this for about 10 years, love the coverage, the way it feels and looks. Impressed when I have even gone out to the lake; I put on a layer of the tinted moisturizer then the pressed powder on top, never get burnt on my face. I only use 2 compacts a year.

Love this. I put it on top of the liquid minerals and these 2 give me the perfect coverage. Not too heavy. Perfect for the humidity in the summer.

I've used PurePressed for years, in Ivory. I am quite fair and this shade never yellows on my skin as the day goes on (I often use the lilac BeyondMatte underneath to help the shade stay light, too). It's light, unscented, compact, and adds some protection to my sunscreen while providing coverage. With a finger or brush, it also works to cover spots if applied carefully.

I began using Jane Iredale makeup in January after developing an allergic reaction to my previous makeup and I have been very happy with it. I thought foundation needed to be a liquid, but not so! This pressed powder gives better and more even coverage than I ever experienced before. It lasts all day and does not need any touch ups.

I do not like wearing foundation . . But I do have several brown age spots here and there on my face .. thought I would try a powder (especially for summer) - I really like the way it goes on . . It does not cover the spots completely but it definitely blends them in. I love the finished look - makes my skin look good!

This is my go to foundation for the perfect tan with SPF

Great coverage without looking cakey. Complements skin tone nicely.
