I started using Jane Iredale years ago when I was in high school (I'm 30 now). My mom and I both got hooked on it. She used it for aging skin and I used it for my teenage acne prone skin. Years later I stopped using it because I started using MAC (for performances and stage appearances) which broke my skin out horribly. I jumped around to different makeups like Clinique, Lancome, etc, and eventually came back to Jane Iredale... only to find out, shortly there after, that the only MedSpa/Dermatologist in town that carried JI's products stopped carrying it and started carrying only Colorescience mineral makeup. So I started using Colorescience and continued to use it for about 6-7 years since, and over the years my skin has continued to break out consistently and have never really been completely happy with the way my makeup looked, but it was "just good enough" that I didn't feel the need to seek out the JI products... Now that at age 30 my skin is starting to show age, and is not quiet as resilient as it once was, so I decided to make the switch back to JI. Her products are a little easier to find now so there are plenty of other places that carry it. And OH MY GOODNESS! I have forgotten how absolutely amazing this stuff is!!!! I will never desert you again, Jane! The color/tone (Golden Glow) of the makeup even looks better on than the other stuff I was using before. The coverage is brilliant and my face absolutely glows. I've fallen in love all over again! I also use the Smooth Affair primer. I haven't put my foundation on without the primer yet, but I'm sure it makes a big difference and have heard it is amazing stuff, which is why I bought it. Thank you, Jane Iredale!!
TLDR: This stuff rocks and blows all other makeups away, especially the other mineral makeups! Get. It. Now.
Jane Iredale has been absolutely the best for over ten years to me. I use Pure Pressed Base SPF 20. But recently last winter I was sadly informed my shade of color was discontinued. It has been tough and costly trying to match my skin tone to the new limited shades for women of multiple shades of color. I tried everything and none of the colors are close to my skin tone. Also, I was informed to mix two different colors of pure pressed together to make my shade of color. I was hurt because of course Jane Iredale make up was and has always been absolutely the best until recently. Please consider bringing back or make additional Pure Pressed Base SPF20 colors for women of multiple shades of color. If not this will become costly buying two shades to make one color. Sincerely Faithful customer

I have combination skin, visible pores, and acne scars. Despite being WELL past my teen years my skin gets oily mid-day. I have a hard time finding any coverage that looks good on me after three hours. Most foundations and powders start breaking up, pooling in my pores, and settling into the wrinkles. I also break out with most makeups. An aesthetician recommended this to me years ago. It was such a saving grace! At the time I was in my 20's and all my roommates wanted to borrow it. If they had a photo shoot or big event they came asking for my Jane Iredale LOL. The color is pretty flexible. Feels light, covers well and can be reapplied throughout the day. I've NEVER found something I can layer like this! So glad I found it!!

I was a long time user of Bare Minerals, but their lightest shade was always too dark for my skin. I switched to Dermaflage and their lightest shade (porcelain) was almost a perfect match. However, Dermaflage is a hard brand to find and I wanted to branch out in case one day it's no longer available. I was disappointed when it really got down to it how few powder foundations with spf were available, let alone with a good shade selection, and good ingredients. I have pale, extremely sensitive, acne prone skin. I'm so glad I decided to try this foundation finally (I'd had my eye on it for awhile). Shade Ivory is lighter than both Bare Minerals' lightest shade and Dermaflage's! Also this foundation wears better than both I'd tried previously. I've had zero issues with the coordinating case for this makeup. Yes, it's just a cheap plastic case, but it opens and shuts just fine. And people who are having trouble removing the makeup pan from it, there's a hole on the back to push a paper clip or pin through to pop the pan out.

I have very sensitive, dry skin and this foundation works great for me. Even though it is a powder foundation, it does not make my skin drier and is my favorite foundation.

The first time I ordered this shade, it was honestly by accident. I have paler skin in the Winter months, so I normally use the Bisque shade. I've used Jane Iredale's PurePressed Base Mineral Foundation for years now, and I've mixed shades before, but I noticed I've been getting a ton of compliments on my skin tone ever since I experimented and mixed the Warm Silk in with another lighter, more "yellow" toned shade. Great product!

I have been using this product for a couple of years and have tried two shades. Love them both. Doesn't feel heavy on my face but has great coverage.

I love this powder. I do not use foundation, and only use this on my face. It covers perfect, and looks so natural, plus has spf inside it!

Jane Iredale's pressed powder is awesome as a light-weight foundation. It has a natural look and great coverage. Doesn't look like I'm even wearing it. Nothing beats mineral makeup-Liquid foundations can look heavy and rub off.

Been using for 3 years. Best powder so far for my sensitive skin. Plus it is clean & kind make up, vegan & cruelty free. It also has SPF. Their beauty advisors were so nice and fast with my queries. Only complaint is that international orders take too long, around 10 days.

I have used golden glow pure pressed base for years! It is the best! I will never be without it! Service is always great also!

This is my go-to foundation and I've used it for 2-3 years. Originally, I purchased it in a shop and was recommended the color Light Beige, which I loved. Then earlier this year, I got a sample card from Jane Iredale with new colors. I tried them and chose Warm Silk. An even better color match. This foundation gives me just the right coverage.

I love your makeup and the customer service is great. I also like the care you put into the packaging of the product. Thanks

I love this powder. It blends like a dream and doesn't dry out my skin. This is holy grail status for me.

This is the easiest way to wear foundation and sunscreen. The Handi brush makes it easy to apply and even though my skin is dry, this doesn't make it look drier or accentuate wrinkles like liquid foundation can. It gives my skin color and coverage with a minimalist feel. Really nice!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this under the radar mineral based foundation. It performs similarly to Bare Minerals and turns into a cream base when applied. Realistic but surprisingly full coverage. New favorite!

Great!! Super clean feeling with good buildable coverage

I love this product, but it has been difficult to find a color match my skin tone. Pay attention to the color description. I bought "sweet honey" and it is too dark for my skin with too much yellow. These foundations are expensive, so pay extra attention to the specific color description of natural, yellow, or peach tones

I like this foundation, but it doesn't give the coverage I was hoping for. I have rosacea (not the bumpy kind) blotches all over my face and I could not build enough coverage with this makeup to tone it down. . Don't know if it is the foundation or the light color I ordered. This foundation did not irritate my sensitive skin, though, or make it itch so I was happy about that. Just wish it covered better.

Good one! Feels nice, with the BB foundation is a little on the heavy side but with just moisturizer and concealer it gives great lightweight coverage. Buildable and nice feel and look.I ordered different shades and the one that works the best for me is Warm Sienna. Golden Glow was too dark (too yellow), Warm Silk too light. For reference: I use Lancôme foundation stick 210 Buff and 260 bisque. From It Cosmetics I use Light and Light Medium. I'm fair skin but not Ivory nor too pale. From Jane Iredale BB foundation I mix shades 4 and 6. Shade 5 was too yellow by itself.

I purchased the discovery kit and then ordered the full size. I much prefer this to other .mineral foundations I have tried. It does not seem to sink in lines/wrinkles. Am very pleased.

I love this mineral foundation, gives me a nice coverage while making my skin look natural. Doesn't break me out, and lasts all day without ever looking cakey
Mandy from Missouri
I use this most days when I need a quick refresher. It evens my skin tone and has a light application. The bisque is perfect for my fair skin in winter. However, I'm still looking for the right color in summer. Radiant is a tad too dark for me.

Used for years and love. I'm oily so I do wear Laura Mercier translucent pressed over t zone.
I've been an artist for several prestige companies and I'm in love with this stuff.
Has sunscreen, but I do wear cereve twenty under product. Your brush makes all the difference in the world. Make sure you have the right one, natural hair.

I've tried many powders and this is the absolute best for mature skin. It's great for a sheer foundation and even better to lightly set a liquid or stick foundation. It gives a smooth, blurring look without being cakey or looking dry. Love the thin compact as well. I keep one in my makeup bag and one in my purse. And I have 2 spares. Wouldn't want to run out, right?
Sammy from California
My go to foundation for years and years. I use this as daily sheer coverage and find it evens out my skin tone perfectly without having to use thick concealers, liquids or anything heavy on my face. I love that it provides some sun protection as well. Im have an olive skin tone and love the golden glow on me.
