Most Helpful Positive Review I LOVE this product!
To the random customer at Ulta who saw me shopping for a dryer/brush and suggested this one, I cannot thank you enough!!! I had previously purchased another brand and have used it with success, but wanted another to leave at our beach condo. SO I was shopping at Ulta and a lady walked by and said she was a hairdresser and took a few minutes to talk me through the various brands. She ranked them and put this on top because of the titanium barrel. She assured me that it would work on my hair length, almost touching my shoulders. It works great! It does not curl of course, but gives me great shine and lift and my hair turns under nicely. My hair is thinning on top so I really need the lift. This model makes my hair much smoother than my other brand and the cool setting is actually cool. (The other one is not) I had heard that finishing with the cool setting makes the style last longer. My only complaint is that the on/off switch is harder to work. My other one has a switch up on the barrel and you can easily switch it up and down with one hand. This one has the ring near the base and I have to have both hands to operate it. One concern, and I hope it is not ongoing--I noticed short black bristles on the floor after my first use. Hope that is not going to continue. Overall, I highly recommend this product!
Most Helpful Critical Review Too hot
I've used this tool for a week and will probably keep it, but it can only be used to smooth out hair that has been dried already. This would be a nice styling tool if it didn't get so hot, which is the biggest issue and makes it a struggle to use. Even on the low setting, it was burning my hand and my hair. So the best way to use this is to dry your hair with a regular blow drier and a round or flat brush, until it is almost dry and then use this section by section to smooth the hair and lift it. After rolling my hair I'd let the heat blast my hair for 3 seconds, and then turn off. So I was constantly turning this tool off and on to keep it from burning my hair and it isn't easy to turn it off once it is in your hair. Some days my hair looked great because it does make your hair silky, but it takes a LOT OF WORK to get it that way. The other issue is with it being so hot, some days my head started sweating--and when that happens my hairstyle is completely flat and gone since I have flat, straight hair. I feel it would be easier to just invest in a really good brush for blow drying the hair and using your favorite blow dryer. The last thing that is troublesome is this will make your hand, wrist and arm sore if you use it for too long.

I have curly hair and this product was amazing. It gets really hot and I was able to blow dry my hair wet. Amazing. Throwing away my straightener
Returned first one (defective); love the replacement

It appears too big to use with my short hair, but in fact, works very well. I'm very pleased with this product.
I love this brush!

I love the size and the power of this little guy! It's perfect for my short cut and I have have good faith that it will last me a long time! It's my first combination brush/dryer and I love it!

Dries hair fast. Makes hair smooth. So much easier than using a brush and hair dryer. I use smoothing or straightening gel and a thermal protectant. I have the larger head also. Both sizes are great! Smaller size is just a little better for shorter, layered hair.

Hair styling after washing ! Leaves lots of column!
Love this product, no more hair brush in one hand and blow dryer in the other. Faster drying and styling time!
Good for start

This is the first one of these hair dryer brushes I've purchased. The overall experience is good. I do find the handle awkward and hurts my hands. I have shoulder length thick hair so it did take a few to get dry. But I do like it.
I would buy this product again.

This tool is perfect for using to dry my chin length bob. It's easy to use and does add volume. Very happy with this purchase!

I just bought this tonight after doing much research on it and comparisons to other blowout brushes. I use to straighten my hair years ago but have not for a long time. I wanted to be able to change styles every so often. I have curly hair that is colored . I paired it he brush with the dry bar prime and detangling spray and it's soft shiny. Now my daughter wants to try it! Satisfied with it and definitely recommend!!
Great hair tool!

I have shoulder length hair but somehow still struggle to dry my ends without overheating my roots. This solved that problem! I also have curtain bangs and this styles them perfectly! The size of the barrel brush is great for my shorter hair but will still work perfectly as I grow it out. My only issue is the noise it makes... it's an annoying high pitched "hum" but luckily I don't use this for long periods of time so it's not a deal breaker.
Love this product!!

I have mid length curly hair. I use this dryer to blow my hair out and it's amazing. It takes half the time to blow my hair out and the smaller barrel helps me get down to the roots easier. I replaced my Revlon with this dryer.
I love this hair dryer!!!

I love this hair dryer! My hair is so smooth and shiney!! No need to use any products to your hair, adds so much volume!
I'd hate to see the large head!
RachelR. from Lake Charles, LA
Supposedly, this is the smaller one. Um, ok. I'd hate to see the large one! 🤣 I have a chin length bob so I can only use this on the very top layer of hair, otherwise things take a turn at helmet hair very quickly. I find it kind of bulky and a bit heavy. Does leave my hair silky and shiny. I think I don't foresee using this until my hair gets a lot longer.
Yes I love this product I'm so happy I bought it

Best tool ever!!!
Lisa from Columbus, OH
I bought this blowout brush with the hopes of adding volume to my very thin hair. I am extremely impressed. It cuts down on dry and styling time and is pretty easy to use. The only problem I have with it is that I sometimes have to turn it off to reposition it. Other than that, it is PER-FECT.
Kmac from Baltimore,Md
I have another brand of combo brush dryer that has a very large brush. It works well but I have thin, fine hair, and just got a shorter cut. So I decided to give the smaller brush a try and it made a huge difference. I can't say enough about this great brush!!
Easy blow-out for short hair

Just received this in the mail after black friday deals. I was looking for a hot brush to use on my bob for a straight hair style and this does a wonderful job! I have normally very frizzy and thin wavy/curly hair. It was easy to use, and doesn't seem to get too hot. I use leave in treatment and anti-frizz serum which when combined with this brush gave me a soft and smooth blowout. Will update review after using for awhile. Was fast and easy and would definitely recommend to anyone with shoulder length or shorter hair.
Best purchase I've ever made!

Love this product. I only need one product now. My hair is straight, silky and smooth when I'm finished drying it. No more flat iron or curling iron.
Love this brush

Easy to handle. Shortens drying time. Great for touch ups.
not for me
G from delaware
so I have the Revlon brush that is bigger than this one and I LOVE it. I got this one because it's a little smaller and I thought it would be a little better with my shoulder length hair. I ended up returning it because I feel like it tugs on my hair and it left my hair really frizzy. I'm guessing its the bristles on this that I didn't like. I'll stick to my Revlon one.
Perfect complement to the full-size

I've been using the full size 24k charcoal Hot Tools volumizer hair tool (the non-detachable one) for years now, and I just love it. I have fine, thin wavy hair that's just below my shoulders; and was curious if the small head tool would be easier to maneuver near the roots.
This tool is definitely lighter and easier to maneuver than the big 24K one, but it doesn't have as much drying power so what I do is rough-dry my hair with my small T3 dryer till it's about 80% dry, then I use the small head tool to finish drying and styling. The small head does make it easier to get near the roots and get all the natural waves out, making my hair very sleek. I keep reaching for it every time I need to dry my hair ever since I got it. I would definitely choose this one to travel with in the future because it's lighter and has the detachable head.

Purchased as a Christmas present. Friend just had a liver transplant and tires easily. This way she can dry and flatten at the same time.
This is fine but not fabulous.

Dries hair quickly, but harder to get the large barrel around shorter hair. My hair also has a lot of static after using this versus the Revlon round barrel drier.
Michelle from Buffalo
Wasn't sure this tool was for me, but I am pleasantly surprised how easy it is to use!
Give me some time to try it!
Suziemama from West Valley City, UT
First time trying it. Might still need a flat iron to smooth my curly hair out. I will try it more times and see how I really like it?
