PRO Blurring Translucent Loose Powder

0.634 oz Item 2509374

Find in Store-

The Lorac Los Angeles PRO Blurring Translucent Powder is not your ordinary translucent powder. This innovative formula contains natural peppermint and brightens, absorbs oils, and keeps your skin cool and shine-free throughout the day. The silky texture of the finely milled formula applies smoothly and evenly, and helps makeup stay fresh all day by instantly blurring pores and imperfections. Because this paraben-free, weightless formula is translucent, it works on every skin tone and refreshes makeup throughout the day by absorbing excess oils without looking chalky. Whether you're taking selfies or getting ready for your red carpet moment, no camera filters are needed here!
Using the included PRO puff or a fluffy brush, lightly press or dust the powder onto skin to set makeup. Reapply as desired throughout the day to refresh makeup and absorb excess oil.
Silica, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Talc, Dimethicone, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Mentha Arvensis Leaf Oil, Butylene Glycol, Menthoxypropanediol, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Extract, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Peel Extract, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus Extract, Mentha Rotundifolia Leaf Extract, Fragrance (Parfum).

I got this on a whim and glad i did. I really like the way my skin looks after I use this to set my face. It stays matte for a long time. My pores are tiny! So insecure about them and this powder definitely helps hide them.,

Comments about Lorac PRO Blurring Translucent Loose Powder:

This powder is pretty good in all categories, its lightweight, silky, and doesn't settle into my under eye creases, however, the one con is HUGE. I did a flash test like I always do and was shocked at how white my face looked, like those pictures of Nicole Kidman but worse. If you only use it under your eyes I can see it being ok, just really white, but do not use this on your whole face no matter how silky it feels.

      *DO NOT USE FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY*

I am a full time MUA, I used this product to lightly set under the eyes, and to clean the contour lines on cheeks/nose

In person this product seemed to be fine, I got out my Sony A5100 camera and took a photo. DO NOT USE FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY. This product turned my client into a straight up GHOST

Packaging is very poor, the product flys out everywhere once shut.

I would only recommend this powder for VERY light use to control oil, only when not anticipating flash photography to take place.

Comments about Lorac PRO Blurring Translucent Loose Powder:

I hardly write reviews, but wanted to help someone out with similar skin as me. I have very dry skin. I do heavily moisturize but my skin runs dry due to the acne medication/cleansers that I use. I have used two prestige brand translucent powders in my experience. This one and the NARS translucenct loose powder. This one is BY FAR much better for my skin type. It blurs imperfections, doesn't settle into fine lines, and keeps makeup in place all day. It's also that very finely milled type powder that makes it great for "baking." Obviously, with anyone who has dry skin, when using any setting powder, the trick is to properly moisturize(good moisturizing lotion, moisturizing prep/primer spray) and when you do apply your powder, don't go overboard with it. I find when I do these things, it looks very nice and smooth on my skin. The NARS was NOT a good product for me. No matter how much I moisturized and properly primed, it would make me look super dry, almost cakey like, and would just destroy my whole face and make me look 80 years old. I just wanted to share this review for anyone struggling to find a setting powder or anyone who thinks that none of them will work for their dry skin. This one is worth a try!
