FAVOURITE Setting Powder

By ana

from seattle, wa

Comments about Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder:

This really is just a great product, it blurs texture and pores on the skin and makes your complexion look so soft and almost airbrushed. This powder will make any foundation look flawless. I don't get white cast from it and almost no flashback. Since i'm super fair skinned I'm not sure how it would look on deeper skin tones but it seems to be truly translucent.

Love this powder! Leaves no white chalkiness but sets my makeup perfectly. Goes on very fine and you don't have to use very much at all.

    Not much product

    By Dylanlily

    from Ca

Comments about Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder:

I ordered this online. The pan was not attached, terrible packaging. Doesn't work well as a primer but is a decent finishing powder. It's difficult to eat the product out. I've used it 2 times- hit pan on the second use. Not very much product for the price. It is just okay.

I normally use another powder by Two Faced but I couldn't find it so decided to give this one a try. It's not as good as the other but I do like it a lot.

      Softens texture and wrinkles

      By Makeup-holic

      from Philadelphia

Comments about Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder:

I tried this in store with no makeup, I loved how my skin looked. I have large pores on nose and texture on my cheeks and it made my skin look pretty flawless with just face oil and moisturizer. I tried with the puff which was stiff and felt cheap and did not blend in. I used real technique setting brush and that did the trick. I think the puff picked up too much product. A little goes a long way and use a light hand with setting brush. I ended up buying whole line with 20% coupon. I used this on top of too faced hangover replenishing face primer, light beige born this way foundation, and born this way light medium concealer. It helped soften and crease less with wrinkles under my eyes and around mouth and texture on my cheeks. Wish I tried this line long ago.

Bought because I can never find a powder that matches my neck skin tone, so I use my regular Lorac POREfection powder on the middle of my face for coverage and this for under my cheekbones down to my chin and on my forehead and it looks super beautiful! Only 4 stars because I don't think it would work well for full face coverage if you need a powder for your setting your foundation.

              DO NOT BUY!

              By Jenna B

              from NH

Comments about Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder:

This is the worst powder I've ever used!!! It does the exact opposite of what it advertises. My pores look huge, fine lines stick out like a sore thumb, and it separates/gets patchy on my nose no matter what products I use beforehand. Such a waste of money.

Is there a specific way to use this powder that will not cause it to settle in to my fine lines after just a few hours? So far, that has been my issue with the product. It doesn't particularly set my foundation too well either.

                  A:

Hello... I would recommend using a light amount of product, and applying it with a larger powder brush. Sometimes excess amount of foundation, and powder can cause settling to happen. I also always recommend moisturizer, and primer with any application. Together this combination of products creates a look that can last.
                  Thank you :)

I have very fair skin. I am always the lightest shade offered, and even that can be too dark depending on brand and product. to put this into perspective, I use the Urban Decay All Nighter foundation in the shade 0.5. My question is would this powder work for me?

How does Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder differ from the Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation (which I find to be very light and useful as a setting powder)? Is there another (better) powder you suggest for setting makeup and eliminating shine?

                1 answer

                • Brand Expert

                  A:

Hi Merritt... Our Primed & Poreless Powder can be used as a primer before foundation, or to set the skin for an in-the-bare smooth finish. Our Cocoa Powder foundation defends against free radicals, while minimizing the appearance of fine lines and pores. Both of these powders will do a great job at setting your liquid makeup and eliminating shine.
                  Thank you :)
