Most Helpful Positive Review Savior for very oily and shiny skin! I have very oily skin and sweat more than most especially on the face. I am always shiny and greasy looking especially on my nose and chin. I finally decided to look for a mattifying powder and this Catrice one was the first one I tried. It has many moisture-absorbing (talc, corn starch, zinc stearate) and smoothing (silica, etc) ingredients. The result is matte and smooth skin after application. It lasts for 2-3 hours IF i don't sweat. If I sweat a lot it comes off quickly. It doesn't help to control sweat, only shine. I have light/medium skin and the powder goes on a bit light but sets in quickly to match my skin tone. This powder is part of my daily regimen now! Also, the compact is well made with sturdy plastic and comes with a mirror!
Most Helpful Critical Review Not for oily gals!! I found this (in Transparent) to be extremely difficult to pick up on a brush and it seems to leave a white cast. I am very pale, so the white cast doesn't affect me much, but it is a let down for those who expect "transparent". Also, this could be great for touching up on people with normal skin, but if your are oily like me, it wont keep you matte for long! Finally, I find it to be very drying! I would only recommend this to people with very normal skin! For keeping me matte all day, I go with the Coty Airspun loose face powder!!!

I thought this would be translucent but it's not. it runs on the pinker side. I can use it when my concealer or foundation is too yellow to contradict and balance out.

Did not keep me matte whatsoever, it's not waterproof and the color is quite pinkish on me. The compact is nice though and the powder very fine but would not recommend for what it claims.

I have had this powder for a while. It has just been sitting there, collecting dust. I used it a couple times over my makeup, and it wasn't anything exciting. It was a decent powder for under eyes, but it does have a bit of a white cast. And I am quite pale. Last week I saw it sitting there and I thought, hmmm...my makeup is sliding off in the heat right now. Let me try something new. After skincare and suncreen, I brushed a bit of this all over my entire face in the hope that it would keep my makeup looking less shiny and would last longer. Lo and behold, it kept everything in place for over 12 hours. I'm not cakey, pores and lines are blurred, oil is being kept at bay...it truly is all good. Everything holds up to heat, humidity, sweat, and oil. This will be a summer essential now that I've seen all that it can do. I'm glad I didn't toss this out after a couple of unremarkable uses.

Great T-zone powder it also works great as an overall face powder if you need it . I have also used it throughout the day for touchups. I have found many many uses for this powder.

i personally don't use this powder much because of my oily skin, but i would say it is effective for touching up throughout the day or if u have dry skin.

I saw this powder on a review being compared to the new urban decay so I purchased it online; shipping was reasonably fast. When I finally tried it with my normal foundation, I could tell it was a keeper. I have oily skin with larger pores and it doesn't accentuate any of it, definitely my new go to powder, especially for on the go!

This powder IS TRULY AMAZING. I applied a layer of full coverage foundation, and this powder generously over top, and went swimming. I was constantly under the water, and none of my foundation rubbed off or was ruined. It really is waterproof, and very matte. (I have extremely oily skin) I have hit the bottom of the pan!!

I have dry skin, and use a satin finish foundation. It works well to set my foundation, and act as a base for my blush, contour, and highlight. I don't get any flashback, and it doesn't get cakey on my face. I also don't get hard pan in this (which I did in the more popular rimmel stay matte.) I also like that it's just slightly bigger than my brush, so I can pan it evenly. plus, the packaging is sturdy, and I really like that it has a decent mirror. I'll likely use this until they stop making it/stop making it easy to find.

Left a great review at first but came back to write this one. This powder started out really good but after a month or so, it started to dry up and I had to use the tape method to get the bubbles removed from the surface. Even after that, I find that the powder leaves some texture on my face and doesn't look as smooth and glasslike so I won't be repurchasing.

I have combo skin so I concentrated this on my nose. It definitely worked better than a lot of powers I've tried but dang does it have a lot of talc. My concealer creases under my eyes but this helped with that that. I don't know...torn about the talc.

This powder sets undereye concealer great, and is just an extremely light, but effective mattifying powder all around. The compact is slim but holds a lot of product and is very streamlined in your purse~ I had to buy a separate powder puff to put in it. Best mattifying powder at this price point that I have ever tried~ goes great with Catrice foundation!! Been buying this brand more and more lately and am very happy with the look and feel of their products~ comes off way more high-end than their price points would give off!!

I always struggle to find the perfect powder and omgggg i finally found it. Im oily on my T Zone only rest sometimes a little dry depending on the season.This powder keeps me matte for at least 12 hrs and i run around all day at work i love it under my eyed doesn't crease at all and makes my under eye look smoother. Only prob i find is pretty hard to get your hands on it ao next time you go to store.... trust me get 2

I don't know what it is that's in this stuff but there is NO other product I've ever used that sets my undereye concealer like this stuff. I use both Tarte Shape Tape concealer and MAC Pro Longwear concealer. I use this powder to set both products and my undereye concealer lasts for hours and hours... And I am 37 with a line under each eye. Can't even see it when I use this powder. This stuff is amazing.

I don't like heavy, full coverage powders like a lot of people. For example, I tried Maybelline's Fit Me loose powder. It look liked a cake had been baked on my face. Meanwhile, this powder is the exact opposite. NOTHING. There is zero pigment. I tried to baked with it. I looked in the mirror. "Did I just do ANYTHING? I'm so confused."
I suppose it'll cut down on shine, but the effects of that don't even last long if you're even a tad on the oily side. You'll get an hour of matte effect, maybe. I love the brand Catrice but this powder is really disappointing.

I'm surprised with how truly translucent this product is. I have medium/tan skin and it blends into my skin perfectly. Not cakey but has the mattifying and lasting power of some heavier, high end powders.

This is my favorite. I was using IT cosmetics bye bye pores pressed powder for under my eyes and to set my lid primer, but I found this and I think it it more translucent and works even better for those areas. I use this to set concealer under my eyes and to set my lid primer and then I use the IT CC airbrush perfecting powder to set the rest of my face foundation.
