Comments about Catrice Prime & Fine Smoothing Refiner:

I got this product to try to test as a doupe for the Tarte timeless primer. Seems similar but has nit quite the same long lasting power as tarte but is a great primer for reducing pores amd smoothing prior to foundation application. Would buy again. Great option if you are on a budget.

Comments about Catrice Prime & Fine Smoothing Refiner:

    1. I have dry skin especially now with it being winter this helps my foundation not to cling to my dry patches 2. I do not use this all over (my texture is more across my t-zone horizontally but I only use a small amount around my nose)
    * I would not recommend for oily skin I could see this primer not working and doing the opposite causing your make up to slide off. The price is amazing. I bought this because emilynoel suggested it and super happy I did.

Comments about Catrice Prime & Fine Smoothing Refiner:

Smoothing / pore minimizing is a huge trend with in primers right now. I was originally going to drop the money on the tarte primer that looks exactly like this but while messing around with both I felt like they were exactly the same and decided I would go with the cheaper alternative. I have seasonal dry skin and this primer felt great on. I felt like it melted into my skin. I used a damp make up sponge to apply and pressed the product into my areas I was most concerned about. This product smoothed my areas but I do not think if you have huge pores you will see a large difference. If you want to try this style of primer I would recommend this one over the more expensive ones like benefit, UD, and tarte.

Comments about Catrice Prime & Fine Smoothing Refiner:

This came highly recommended on YouTube for covering pores, which it doesn't do as well as the NYX Pore Filler, and it didn't dry enough (and I don't have time to wait 20 minutes, I need it to dry within 5 minutes, which others do). After I applied foundation over it, I almost washed everything off and started over, and I ended up wishing I had. It kept my foundation from drying as well as usual; and my contour, bronzer, and blush didn't blend well.

I actually prefer this primer to it's more expensive "sister", the Tarte Clean Slate Timeless. They have very similar consistency, smell, and color, but the Catrice seems to last longer on my oily skin.

It is amazing. I usually don't use primer, but I tried to three different brands. benefit is popular, it is okay. the another one is made by Lorac. However, I don't like it. This product is my No.1 primer. Easy to apply on face, cover pores very well. Price is good, too. I bought it extra one two weeks ago.

If you have oily skin, don't use this. It does not help with pores, lines or wrinkles. It looks good when I first put it on. Bit as it sits on my skin and I start applying my makeup, it creases. I don't even get all my makeup on and I start creating. And as the day goes on, it makes my makeup slide on my face. It separates from my skin. But, I gave it to my friend with dry skin and she loves it! So maybe it works well with drier skin types.
