This product is soo good for dry skin and acne. It is a must for my night time routine I put it on after cleansing my face and put moisturizing cream on top to seal it in. As for the smell it doesn't smell bad to me, it reminds me of upscale spa products.
I woke up glowing within a week. 5

I can compare this to the very expensive creme de la mer because I've used it and it was the only thing that would keep my skin moisturized until...This beauty oil! PLUS this has retinol which is correcting as I sleep! I'm 45 and people keep complimenting me on what I'm using on my skin, well this is it! and I'm ordering another bottle today.
I was on the fence... 5

But I love it!!! Halfway through the mini I realized I loved it and I hardly ever take a break at night to use my much loved AHAs/BHAs but I use it with TO Niacinimide 10% and an HA cream or night mask or kiehls and my face feels smooth, pores small; but I do need a lotion after it's sunk in.
Luxurious feel 5

This has a smooth, substantial feel. It does have an odor that I find to be pleasant (reminds me of the spa). I feel like it has helped keep my skin looking glowy and clear. It's my favorite part of my bedtime skincare routine.

I'm a fan of face oils and wanted to like this because I was looking for a retinol alt oil to use at night, but this smells soooo bad. Reminds me of the blue Herbivore oil. Not sure what the ingredient is but the smell is very off putting. I didn't see any difference in my skin. Had to return. Try the travel size first if you're interested!
other review about it not having retinol is wrong 4

I just want to clear up the comment that says this doesn't have retinol as it does. the form is HPR. here's more about the formula, it's actually quite good.
It's a so-called retinoic acid ester, meaning that it's directly related to retinoic acid. If you've already read our description about retinol, you know that the active ingredient our skin cells can interpret is retinoic acid. Other forms of retinoids have to be converted by our metabolic machinery to do something. That's not the case with HPR.  It binds directly to the retinoid receptors of the skin cells to work its skincare magic.Â
Decent but strong smell 3

The oil itself is not bad and after using it for a few weeks I feel like I am already seeing a bit of an improvement to my complexion. However, it has the strong smell and consistency of that of olive oil, and it takes a while for the smell to dissipate. I will use it until I am out but will likely not be re-purchasing.
Favorite part of my skincare routine 5

I love this oil. If I could marry it, I would. It just goes on SO smoothly and it is not heavy in the slightest. I love the smell and I can already tell a difference in my skin. Smoother and less texture. Please never discontinue, I will repurchase for life!
Fan of the brand, but not this. 1

I never leave reviews but this product has a really strong smell and not a good one. I've tried other Awake Beauty products and they all smell so good and leave my skin feeling so smooth and soft. I wish this one did too. It smells different and is heavy, even with just one drop. A little pricey for not being happy with it. I've only used it twice because it's so overpowering but I'm going to try and use it more to see if it improves my skin. Giving 1 star because it's just not what I hoped for after using other AB products.
